Lots of Features and Always Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite really does make it easy to track engagements with our own account and also monitor others for possible RTs or interactions (as well as keeping up with what others in our field are doing). The scheduling functions have improved significantly in the time I've been using it, and setting up a campaign, which once seemed tedious, can now be done in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming at first and finding features/learning how to use them requires a bit of initiative and experimentation. The interface itself gets the job done but does lack a certain level of polish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using and monitoring social media is very easy with Hootsuite. As a membership association, it's great to have a tool for keeping up with members who have a social media presence. Many items we discover on Hootsuite end up on our feed, or even inspire content for our newsletter and magazine.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient and take time to consult all the resources available via Hootsuite. The full set of features isn't immediately evident when you begin using it.

The software is robust, and when it is working as designed, it is pretty helpful.

The software is clunky and doesn't always work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite didn't solve any of my problems, but Loomly did.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of better programs out there. Loomly, Later, MeetEdger. They are all better.

The ease with which you can schedule your posts and get excellent analytics too,

There is a limitation on the number of posts one can schedule for the primary account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of content management. I have been a customer for nearly ten years, and I love it.

If you are a starter, please start with Hootsuite and then explore other value-added services.
Best tool for Social Media Influencing
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Hootsuite is to support multiple social media platforms, and I don't think any other platform has such a facility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is too high and some time dasboard is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has one of the best analytics devices that assist me in understanding social media results by analyzing more than 50 metrics to judge the performance of the posts.
So excited and then so disappointed
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Hootsuite templates and the ability to see the post in real-time - as you type in the verbiage and add the media, it puts it together in a window to the right and it helps you see what it will really look like once posted. You can click each platform tab to see how it will look on each platform. Our last social media program did not have this, and I like it a lot. I pushed our company to buy a team membership for the 'streams' - you used to be able to see your live feed on each platform to see who is posting what and when so you would know whether to like, love, retweet, share etc. You can't do that any longer - though you can still 'search' for popular hashtags.
What do you dislike about the product?
I asked if Hootsuite connected with GMB, and I was told emphatically YES. BUT they didn't tell me I can't schedule posts in advance for GMB (I have 5 locations on GMB), nor can I draft copy in advance and work with it inside Hootsuite to then be scheduled. I schedule for 16 accounts - 5 of them are GMB. I have to remember to go to streams and the GMB board and create (yes, I use copy and paste) a new post. That is not the spirit of 'connecting' with Hootsuite. I wish the salesperson had been honest about Hootsuite's limitations. We've paid a year in advance, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that I have complained not once, not twice, but three times asking to talk to someone in customer service about this, and nobody has responded. At. All.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like seeing the posts as I draft them - and my CEO can log in and see what I've prepared in advance to give input when and where necessary. I'm still waiting for the benefits. I still don't know if the GMB posts are included in the reporting section.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't just ask a question; make them demonstrate it for you. If I'd known that it takes extra steps to post on GMB, I might have stayed with the social media management company

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a social media management platform that allows me to easily schedule content, track engagement, and keep tabs on all the different social networks, so I can see at a glance what’s going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I can't find anything to dislike with Hootsuite. With Hootsuite, you can view your social media profile and network interactions, schedule messages, and tweets, track brand mentions, and analyze your results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a free, easy-to-use product that helps you manage all of your social networks in one place. Hootsuite also offers opportunities for users to increase productivity, streamline their workflows and stay safe out there on the web.
A Cohesive & User-Friendly Social Media Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The cross-platform posting and Stream view makes for an easy, cohesive social media experience, where managing audience response is all laid out before you on the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we have encountered no issues with our use of Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is a remarkable tool for time management. Where in the past we would have to visit each social media site, we can now save time by writing, tagging, and adding media to Hootsuite and cross-post in half the time.

For ease of use and intuitive, user-friendly functionality, I could not recommend Hootsuite highly enough.
The most advanced system to coordinate a publication
What do you like best about the product?
For a long time I have been showing a slight inclination to use this program because it gives me the confidence to leave in your hands the security of my social networks and the organization of said publications in advance for a long time before, that is, if I want to publish within a week I can program them without any problem and make the publication with much better quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Hootsuite is that the chances of an error happening is that sometimes when I post, it either doesn't post at the right time or duplicates, it happened to me a couple of times and I don't like it at all. Perhaps with some update it will be an error resolved and eliminated but I must also point out that it is a fairly expensive service, and what I do not know is if many other users also have the same problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This service has turned out to be a very common problem that I had and that is that I had to always be on my computer or my phone to make the publications, which took away a lot of additional time, what I can do with hootsuite is to have more time available to dedicate myself to other things or simply to make the publications more interesting or with better content for the public.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend it because it has helped me a lot in organization, saving time, being able to make better content, organizing favorable times for our networks, which is a significant change for the new client who has never used this type of service, I recommend its use at least for try or verify if it works for them or not, since it is one of the best services worldwide in terms of its way of working
Excellent Social Media Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to use, I love the fact that all the platforms that I use can be shown on the same page and the publisher screen makes it so easy to see exactly what you publishing on each day at a glance. Moving posts is easy to do and is as simple as drag and drop , adding media is easy. It's just perfect !
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found one downside to this platform. It rarely has any downtime, it's very intuitive to use. Once your posts are published on the software, you can sit back and just let them publish! I haven't experienced a single problem with this software in the 7 years I've been using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running two seperate social media accounts I need to be able to plan what I'm publishing in advance and to be able to see all this on one page is fantastic. I work two months in advance so also being able to glance quickly and see what time and what subject today's Facebook and Twitter posts are about is also very helpful. The ease of the drag and drop to move a post to a new time is also another fantastic feature which makes it easier to edit and change posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to juggle your social media on Twitter and Facebook it's the perfect platform, it saves times and makes tasks so much easier.
Amazing social media managing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is within easy reach, which I appreciate. Integration with social media networks is simple. It makes me feel more efficient, and it allows me to plan ahead for my social media. The amount of monitoring potential is great even on the free version with only two social media accounts linked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite could've been even nicer if customer service was quicker and more extensive, but I have no problems about it otherwise, I just wish they'd improve customer service.

Me and my team have been using Hootsuite to schedule our social media posts for a long time, and I enjoy it since it has an efficient and easy user interface, offers a great deal of control, and most importantly, offers extensive analysis.
