Easy way to be on top of social media posts
What do you like best about the product?
Love that you can sit down, do all your social media posts for the week & be done. Set it and forget it. It's like the crock pot for social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Really helped me stay on top of multiple social media platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting regularly across multiple platforms. Posting in advance so you never miss a holiday etc. ability to set it & forget it.

The analytics are great, but overall not worth the expense.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite aggregates and interprets the data for me. It helps to maximize our social efforts by providing the information needed to increase viewership and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started using Hootsuite for particular reasons. Now, apps have internal solving tools that make Hootsuite less useful. You can schedule posts within the app or use another service with more excellent project management options. If you can interpret data and read trends, it's unnecessary to see them on this platform. The differentiation needed for each platform makes the multiple screens more daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially, I used it most to schedule static content. It was helpful to plan out a strategy and make sure posting was consistent without needing constant monitoring.
Limited capacity in free version
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can use Hootsuite to schedule content for multiple platforms and to automate publishing to Instagram. It is easy to learn and to distribute work across a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Capacity is very limited in the free version--only three accounts can be linked and there is a low limit on the number of posts that can be scheduled in advance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Hootsuite to schedule content across several channels helps me stay streamlined and consistent in what we are posting on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and to schedule content in advance for weekends or holidays.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Best streams view and social listening out of anything I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics could use some updating to incorporate more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cheapest tool on the market and offers social listening, scheduling, analytics, and monitoring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They are good at improving their tool every year and take advice and feedback from users seriously. So make sure to communicate with them.
Time-saving for social media posts
What do you like best about the product?
All platforms are collected in a series of easy-to-view dashboards, savings lots of time versus logging in to each platform individually.
Character limits are displayed, along with warnings when the limit is exceeded. Platforms can have different texts.
Scheduling for releasing posts.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limit on the number of social media accounts before upgrading, but it seems fair enough.
LinkedIn support is a bit generic. It works, but you can do more logging in directly to Linked In.

When posting notifications or updates on our website, we also need to push a notification to those following our website on a social media platform. Instead of having to log into each platform individually and repeat the same post, we can simply log into Hootsuite once and customize a single post with images, tags, and other content that gets pushed out to those accounts we've linked. It is a huge time-saver for what I consider an annoying but responsible business-growth task. Also, we tend to pay more attention to the view analytics on the posts in a single location, instead of glossing over these metrics because it takes too much time to obtain across the platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Count the number of social media of accounts you need to connect to and review the pricing to see what plan level you need.
Hoot suite… good but not great
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is like other social scheduling tools and makes it easy to schedule and plan, across multiple platforms and accounts, content into the future. It's cheaper than most competitors but also lacks some things as described below.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have as much reporting and analytics built into its interface as we would like. We want to be able to make informed decisions and feel that we can't fully because Hootsuite falls short.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and efficiency that's saved when we can schedule things out in advance. The content doesn't have to be posted in real-time.
Keep Social Going
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to bulk schedule and manage multiple accounts from a large variety of social platforms and is an all-in-one tool. The free version does the job as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often disconnects from the social accounts and it is annoying to have to reconnect them. I would imagine this is for security reasons but if there was another way to ensure security without having to reconnect all the time it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by scheduling out posts and developing a content calendar. It also allows the team to collaborate and see where any gaps in posting may be and what to focus on next.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
How are you planning on utilizing a social media scheduling tool? Is it just for posting? Analytics etc? Hootsuite is good just for posting and scheduling.
Social Media Manager in a few easy steps all in one App
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule all of my social media posts ahead of time and have weeks' worth of content set for multiple platforms. I no longer have to log into each platform to post content daily. I can use the same post and schedule it all at once for all of the platforms I am using.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in a while, it will disconnect one of the platforms but it is easy to repair. It used to be nice to use the free addition to schedule but then they cut down on how many posts you can schedule so I had to upgrade to the paid version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving my time management issues. I can spend a while on one day and schedule everything instead of having to do it daily. It really does save me a lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version and see how you like it. If you are a heavy poster then go for the paid version. You will like it and it does save time.
Great Social Media Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like best is the ability to schedule posts. This is very helpful if someone is going to be out of the office for a few days - we can easily schedule things to post while they are gone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure the bang for buck is as good as it could be. It seems like there are so many social media manager platforms these days, and in doing some research, it seems like others may offer more for less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a nice tool for organizing our posts and getting a schedule going. It integrates with all of the major social networks, including LinkedIn and YouTube. There's also a mobile app, which is nice!
