Hootsuite makes managing social media a breeze

What do you like best about the product?
being able to manage several social channels from one platform is highly valuable, being able to see the streams and content, as well as messages in one place and the ability to schedule posts out into the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the accounts become unlinked and it can be a hassle to get them synced back up again. Also, after posting content, you cannot edit from within Hootsuite on all social channels, some you have to log into that social channel and make changes, it would be better if you could make edits within Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by post to multiple social channels from one platform, also scheduling out posts so that we never miss a day. This is very important as things come up and people are busy, it's easy to forget.

So much potential but too many hoops

What do you like best about the product?
I love the idea of Hootsuite. As a free member I like that I an able to have all of your social media boards in one place. I am able to see real-time interactions on our posts and I am even being able to scheduled post for a later date. One nice feature when shceduling is that they gives you an iedea on when is the best time to post based on your audiences past behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that I have to go to my cell phone to create a post with multiple images. It's such a hassle. There have also been times where I would have to continuously recreate the boards. I am aware as a free memeber there is only so many perks that one could have but this is basic stuff not analtyics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is creating content boards and scheduling posts for the upcoming week. It helps me look at things at a glance, previous posts, and forthcoming. It also helps me quickly view what content I could probably reuse.

Not intuitive/user-friendly at first, but you get the hang of it eventually

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is a clean interface that allows me to manage multiple social media accounts in one place with preemptive scheduling of posts and content and the ability to look back and see what has been commented on.
What do you dislike about the product?
You used to be allowed to have 3 social media accounts on their free plan, but it has since been reduced to just 2 social media accounts. This has made me look at competitor software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was handy to be able to post one picture/message and have it go to multiple social media accounts for us. Definitely saves time and creates a consistent way of distributing information.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of Hootsuite is probably my favorite part of it. It literally only takes a few moments to post on multiple platforms, with any images you want, and see how it looks in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really anything I dislike about it. I guess the interface could be a bit more updated and nice to look at, but overall I enjoy using it enough that it doesn't bother me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for uploading social posts to Facebook and Twitter for the most part. It helps so that I don't have to login to each platform daily. I can just post one article or image and have it go to both at once.

Great product, but pricey

What do you like best about the product?
The website is easy to use and it's easy to link your social media sites. It's also great to have the option to schedule stories on Facebook and/or Instagram. Overall, there's a minimal learning curve if you're new to Hootsuite or social media marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price recently went up and as a small business dealing with COVID, it got to be too expensive to justify. We were able to find a similar product for a significantly lower cost. It has fewer bells and whistles, but it works for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super helpful to manage all your social media accounts in one platform. We have 5 Facebook pages, 3 Instagram pages, a LinkedIn profile and Twitter profile and the time saved by managing all our posts at once is huge. The analytics were a bonus.

There isn't much to dislike. The user face could use a face lift but otherwise I love Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit of using Hootsuite is that you are freeing up more time to run your business because it is enabling you to post to social all at once and when convenient for you.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go with the basic plan to start and see if you need more. That was perfect for me when running a small retail store.
