Expensive and it is a limited on what it can do
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and schedule posts in advance. It easily lets you link all your social media account to the profile. You are able to view a live stream and a scheduled post stream.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive in comparison to other social media managents. It also doesn't have a calendar month view, I would like to be able to customize how I want to view my planned content. I do not like the weekly view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to have a free feature for small businesses where we could schedule up to 30 posts but now it was reduced to 5 posts in advance. I used to plan our month out and it was seamless.
Comprehensive Social Media Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to share on all platforms from one dashboard, as well as schedule posts, and view insights and resources to increase engagement on our posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has everything you need, so I don't feel it's missing anything or should change anything, but I do find it expensive for most small businesses to use long term so we had to cancel our subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving our need for scheduled posts and saved insights across our social platforms. I'm also streamlining the process for social media sharing and collecting of data.
The Best Social Media Integration Out There
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes social media integration and posting on multiple platforms super easy. They make scheduling so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes links can be a bit finicky when posting across multiple channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publish posts across multiple channels without having to sign in to each to do so. It's a very efficient platform that takes the headache out of posting on various channels.

If you're looking for an easy integration tool for your various social media platforms, Hootsuite makes it so easy for posting and scheduling posts.
Everything in One Place ... including the kitchen sink!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite for business is a remarkable tool for planning, developing team content, as well as getting approvals through the proper channels. Among the competitors out there, the user interface coupled with the many features make Hootsuite the go-to for our online needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version of Hootsuite was originally something we used without getting a professional account because it allowed 30 posts. The fact that they buttoned it down to a couple made my organization (a rescue mission) decide they needed to up the ante if we were going to do organic and paid social marketing more professionally. So while it's a bummer that they ratcheted the free versions down, it was a bonus because their service was really a godsend for us. If I had to ask for one integrated tool, it would be an integrated hashtag manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has allowed us to make content that drops at optimal times on all the social networks available to us. Our planning has gone from spreadsheets in a team meeting in person to a calendar and content creation platform at Hootsuite's site.
Scheduling social media content
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is straightforward and user-friendly, especially as a novice. My job is not social media, but I need to use it to thank donors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything at the moment. All is working as promised, and we don't experience any difficulties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great for scheduling posts and thank yous. We can all access the calendar as a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to schedule posts across social media platforms & extract consolidate reports

Can enhance the app to search for posts that have been scheduled & increase scheduling view to be a month

What do you like best about the product?
There is an easy to navigate toggle screen
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to navigate messages through the stream channel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being apart of a business with sister companies, it makes navigating through both accounts easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Hootsuite to other users.

What do you like best about the product?
This is the best social media management-scheduling, posting, tagging, analysis, you name it- platform to use, by far. We love it and swear by it-it's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest concern is actually a small one, in that tagging from social account to account can be difficult if you are trying to cross tag across channels in one post.. really not a big deal at all compared to the greatness of other features, just a minor annoyance!

Social media management across multiple channels
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use Hoootsuite as the Social Media Coordintaor for a professional organization I am part of, American Marketing Association, and this social media management platform is so great-I highly recommend in general and for its great features, but also as I know they have packages available for different budgets, etc and is worth considering for that as well!
Pretty good but not amazing
What do you like best about the product?
The main benefit of Hootsuite, in my opinion, is that it is very easy to get up and running for pretty much any skill level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once I became familiar with the product, using it to scale quickly became untenable across multiple clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefits are pretty straightforward - social media is a disparate and frustrating thing to manage, but Hootsuite makes it a lot easier to handle. Especially when you consider that most people won't have the technical expertise or patience to set up and run more complicated tools.
Hootsuite: a scramble to set up and not worth the $$
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is probably the best known and oldest social scheduler and insights tool, and so has many great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to setup because it's almost too customizable for each social platform and figure out which monthly and daily reports you want. Also not clear how to duplicate posts in an easy way from platform to platform. AND THE COST! To have something that really works well, you're paying lots more than other platforms.

Scheduling social posts, social media insights, grammar and editing, client approvals, hashtag insights
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the number of platforms you're using Hootsuite for, and weigh the cost of using other platforms. I use Loomly now and it's a cleaner, easier tool to use.
