Social Media Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's a dashboard type of management tool which makes it extremely easy to keep track of all social media pages
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish hootsuite provided a trial phase to small businesses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to post the same information on multiple social media accounts is much easier
Getting better but not in love with it
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is intuitive and I like the calendar view that shows all scheduled posts. It makes it easy to see all the different accounts and what is planned to be published that week/month.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting to be less comprehensive than others. I also am not that impressed with their draft/publishing tool. You can only write and schedule one post per platform at a time. In other tools I've used, you can have multiple platforms up at once, all editable. This makes it easy when you're managing a multiple accounts at once (which most of us probably are). I find it takes all day to schedule a month worth of posts in Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us to manage the social media accounts of our entire business portfolio in one place. It's nice to be able to see analytics all in one place and schedule social media posts far ahead of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Shop around for the tool that meets most of your needs. Hootsuite was already implemented when I got brought on the team and it wouldn't be my first choice. It is changing and improving often however!
For the Basics Only
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely simple to use and you can manage multiple accounts from one dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It looks very primitive, and it's easy to accidentally post to the wrong account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe I used the free version, which was great for managing 4 separate social accounts and being able to schedule posts for specific times in the future.
Product is very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the user-friendly interface, specifically the streams. For example, for Twitter, I can see the HOME timeline, My Tweets, Mentions, and Lists all on the dashboard. If I decide that the lists are not useful, I can remove that stream.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Hootsuite Academy isn't better integrated into the program. Hootsuite Academy launches the user to another site. I also dislike how Hootsuite doesn't really affect my engagement. It's a nice way to see all of your content in a well-presented manner, but that's about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of having all of my content scheduled through different sites. Scheduling them through Hootsuites saves me time because I don't have to log in to multiple platforms to set content up.
Great Analytics Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to post to multiple platforms and accounts at one time. I also mostly use Hootsuite for tracking analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not track analytics for Instagram Reels, which can be frustrating for increased engagement analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have access to all of my company's social media accounts and can post to all of them without having to sign in to each native platform.
Never using any other platform to schedule again!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy for me to schedule all of my Twitter and LinkedIn content in one place. Being able to view the content in calendar form is very helpful, and the auto-publishing feature makes planning content so easy. Being able to see the feeds and mentions from both platforms is also very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no real big downside in my opinion! Scheduling Instagram content would make the platform a little more valuable, and perhaps high level analytics for the unpaid version as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very few other platforms have LinkedIn and Twitter scheduling. Having both in one place is really useful and makes batching content super easy and less intimidating.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts is a breeze with the intuitive scheduler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, thus far. We haven't even scratched the surface with all of its abilities.

We wanted to streamline our social media strategy. Hootsuite makes this process much easier, so we launched streams for each office within our division. We also share posts, which amplifies the overall messaging.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it provides you with the best times for posting for each platform.

I dislike how it doesn't offer recommended hashtags.

Being to schedule out clients posts onto LinkedIn Facebook and Instagram all in the one place.

I like that you can manage all social platforms in one spot and schedule posts

The user interface is a little outdated. The analytics feature could be improved where you can pick the categories in the reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for years and in this past year it went to a whole new level. I started managing other businesses social media using HS. There are so many features that I still haven't gotten around to using but everytime I use a new one, it's like I am opening a new present. Recently through my Hootsuite training, I discovered that there were media files (Free images) that I had never accessed before! And I could schedule stories! YES PLEASE! I am so thrilled that this software keeps growing in value to me. Of course the Social listening and the analytics are what got me started with HS... the way they continue to roll out new things... that is impressive and makes me confident that I made the right choice for my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could see the layout on IG. There is a calendar view to see what is scheduled for the upcoming week but I have some customers who could really benefit from seeing what the grid will look like. This feature has made me look at other scheduling services. But I am crossing my fingers that I will find it here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the issue of needing to be at the computer to post. Now I can schedule and automate of course, but the stories on the go mean that I don't have to text the images to myself anymore... then scroll through a zillion images. HS sends me the image I need when I need it. Love that!
