Lifesaver for Small Biz Owner
What do you like best about the product?
Remember to post to LinkedIn daily? Not gonna happen. As a small biz owner trying to manage multiple social platforms along wirh everything else that comes with the job, Hootsuite has made it possible for me to sit down once a week to plan my LI posts in one place and then use the rest of the week to check in and engage. I can do everything--tag other businesses, link (and shorten links and even track them) and add my own images or search theirs. It's quick and easy, maximizing my efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to schedule multiple posts on the same page vs starting each one from the calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have posted daily for weeks thanks to Hootsuite allowing scheduling on LinkedIn. This allows me to use blocks of time on other days to engage. It saves time and keeps me organized and consistent.
Simple multi-platform social media posting
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes scheduling social media posts simple. We work on posts in batches and schedule out over the next month.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when editing posts becomes challenging. One post is created and scheduled for several platforms, when an edit is necessary the user must edit the post for each platform rather than a single edit that will update all posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The regular posting of content keeps us connected with our community.
Hootsuite is a good high-level social media marketing platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The things I use Hootsuite for are managing the different social media accounts for our company. We are a small business, so I need to control everything from one place. I like that Hootsuite is browser-based, so I was able to work on it during my company's recent WorkFromHome furlough. I like that I can see our Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn feeds all at once. I like that I can compose and schedule posts ahead of their release date.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that to post, edit, compose and connect to our company's Instagram account, Hootsuite requires that we must also sign into the company's Facebook page. We don't own a Facebook page, and the President has made it clear we never will. Facebook is actually restricted from use on employee computers. So using Hootsuite means I have limited access to that social media account. I cannot publish directly from Hootsuite. I cannot view comments and engagement

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was tasked with social media at my company in order to increase our interactions with current/future clients on social media. Hootsuite allows me to see ALL the interactions from our followers in one space, and to respond directly. I still go to Instagram/Twitter & LinkedIn for specific tasks, but I always start with Hootsuite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To those considering using Hootsuite, I suggest you go for it! There is no easier, less expensive way to dive into the world of social media than to use Hootsuite. My initial hesitation on becoming a social media marketer (and a new IG user) was being lost at the controls. Hootsuite solves that by displaying everything in one place. Hootsuite is like a personal assistant in many ways, in that it offers scheduling, alerts, composing, and editing tools for the novice and expert.
For me , it is the ideal tool for social media management.
What do you like best about the product?
When it comes to what I like the best about Hootsuite, it's difficult to go past its real-time audience feature. This feature provides me with an important overview of social media conversations on topics, related to my organizations product and services.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite Support can surely be a lot better, especially regarding prompt responses to emails. I tend to think the solution to this is to have like a live chat support provision for customers, which isn't available at present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the problem of following social media engagements around our brand , on multiple social media websites. It has made lead generation and engagement with customers across multiple social media websites a lot easier.
A Great Platform With a Few Quirks
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to schedule my posts in advance. If something must be posted on the weekend or a holiday, I can schedule it during the week and not worry about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently, the platform has not allowed me to schedule posts that have links included. I don't know why that is, but it's been slightly annoying. I hope it's not something I need to pay a premium for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of not having a schedule for social media posts. The calendar in the platform lets me see exactly when my posts will be up, which I love.

What do you like best about the product?
It's an excellent platform because I can manage my business's social media for campaign management, newsletter management, advertising, and marketing to prospects already in the database. A single tab with multiple buttons shows all of my social networks at once. That's impressive. I also like the convenience of having preset for our favorite publications and numerous social media channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in the number of accounts it manages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Across multiple channels, information was coordinated more efficiently and effectively with the help of a central repository. In addition to the visual representation of how information is distributed, content calendars are helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Marketing training on Hootsuite and the Hootsuite Fundamentals course is instrumental in maximizing the functionality of the platform. Additionally, they provide a certification that can be shown on Linkedin.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to post to multiple platforms with ease, it allows me to save a lot of time while helping to create a better and more relevant digital image for my boss. I also like that I am able to see interactions from all our social in one place. It allows me to keep a better eye on all our social media accounts and our interactions with fans.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be helpful to be able to schedule 1 post to multiple outlets and tagging within for each. For instance, some people have different instagram and twitter handles--I wish I was able to create one post and have the handle be tagged on both without creating two separate social posts to instagram or facebook and twitter. Currently, I have to schedule separate posts to be able to correctly tag certain accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to utilize social media far more than before, which benefits us by creating more of a presence online. It also allows us to schedule posts which helps us post more often because we are seeing our posts on a calendar. It keeps us actively looking at what we are posting and when. As far as when goes, timing and analytics are two other aspects it has greatly helped us with.

I liked the free plan that allowed me to schedule posts on social media platforms and see the responses and comment on my post and how many engagements with followers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no proper customer support for Hootsuite. You can only email them; there is no phone support available. I needed help adding a social media platform for one of our team members, and I never got any support.

It helps me to manage multiple social media platforms and accounts at once. It made my life easier with the scheduling option—a user-friendly platform.
One Platform to Manage all your Social media accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to check various sources in real-time and keep up to date. I can answer inquiries promptly and keep people updated only with a few clicks across media platform. Hootsuite allows me to organize social media posts with the scheduler, which saves time for other duties. Also I can see social media accounts feed from single dashboard ( likes , shares , comments ) . Very happy with the website interface, and to for anyone managing Social Media ( personally or professionaly ) I would suggest it.

Sometimes It's laggy when new updates emerged. But overall, it is a great tool.

Scheduling operations were a problem for our organization, but we save time by using Hootesuite. also I can view account activities from one location

Ensure that you acquire all the information before adding the social media info, sometimes hootsuite require additional information before proceed
Good “all in one” but made for big businesses
What do you like best about the product?
If you can think it, Hootsuite has it. It’s such a behemoth when it comes to capabilities on a large scale for posting, reports, hashtag monitoring etc. Mostly anything having to do with tracking and making strategic decisions based on data. This is the perfect product for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have the budget (non-startup essentially) and time to solely dedicate to your social media then Hootsuite is perfect for you. If you’re one person juggling multiple responsibilities across departments, you can use free services that do the same thing just on a smaller scale. All Hootsuite does is save you the time of mass posting, aggregating, and metric measuring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you’re looking to get multiple posts out across multiple platforms with advanced metrics, then this is for you. If not I would consider something smaller. Overall it's an incredible tool that helps identify where you excel and what you could be better at. For emerging large businesses, your socials can be a critical leveraging point and Hootsuite is perfect for understanding where you fall.
