Great platform to manage multiple channels
What do you like best about the product?
It is great to be able to have a visual representation of where everything is at from live posts to scheduled content and post waiting on team approval. It is also helpful that the tagging within posts works quiet well on various social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are a little clunky especially owly reports. There is no way to generate Owly links for use out of the platform meaning we have to bounce between owly and bitly. The mockups are also only mobile view, it would be nice to have desktop as an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined our posting and reporting process and save lots of time by not having to gather analytics all over the web.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it, but make sure that the tier that you buy has all the functionality that you need.
I love Hootsuite!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of using Hootsuite and I especially love the knowledge base, including all the free webinars and learning videos. I love being able to easily schedule posts and see them. I like that I can add team members without giving them access to all of my client networks and that I can assign tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts are a bit confusing, especially in the area of adding team members and then adding social networks to specific teams. I find that I have to try repeatedly to add a network to my employee's team, and I'm not sure that I'm doing it right until I see that the network has been added. I feel like that process should be easier. It's also a pain to have to reconnect networks, although I understand that would probably happen with any similar service. I don't like that the plan cost jump from my tier (20 networks) to the next one up is so extreme. That cost jump is enough to make me look for a second service for additional clients rather than upgrading my Hootsuite plan. I'd like to see a more affordable plan for, say, 40 networks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of getting more followers. The training that Hootsuite provides is making a difference in that regard and my clients are all happy! Yay for that!

Huge time saver
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it so easy to post across all your social media platforms at one time. It's saved us so much time so we don't have to individually log on to each one and copy and paste. It's also so slick to be able to schedule the posts out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes it disconnects your accounts and you have to reconnect them about once every couple months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has freed up more of a time to focus on other things instead of spending so much time posting content to Facebook, Insta, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Most Efficient App
What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling feature across most of the social media platforms. It makes it easy for me to share content. Its usability is also relatively easy, and you don't need to be a Guru to learn your way around. It's just that good. It lets me add images and links, and its updated Instagram features that allowed me to schedule even Instagram stories are a plus. I also love that I can respond directly to my feedback from Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I haven't encountered anything I dislike about the app yet in my two years of use.

It's a fantastic app. It makes things easier scheduling, analytics, and so more.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see in the Hootsuite calendar each week what posts I have scheduled and that I can get all my social media posts done ahead of time for each week.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I don't know more about how to use my twitter account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps me maintain efficiency with and keeping up with all my social media posts each week. The benefits are that I am more organized, not just with social media posts but in many other areas because it frees up time for me each week to get my posts out of the way.
User-friendly, robust, and powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to schedule posts far in advance. That way, we can plan for special events - like a company anniversary - ahead of time, so when the time comes, and you're distressed with everything else, social media is taken care of. It's also beneficial to create multiple posts at once for a variety of platforms saving time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the functionality to post to different platforms is helpful, it's also frustrating because you can't tag a company across platforms. More often than not, I have to duplicate the post for another platform just to tag each business correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's saved me a lot of time. It has given me a vast library of images to choose from, which makes post creation easier. It allows me to create drafts that I can use to get client approval seamlessly. It's allowed me to post way more regularly than I would have if I were doing traditional posting, one-by-one.
A great all-in-one social platform
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Hootsuite manages each well and allows for easy syncronization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - it all works pretty well and congeals nicely.

I have not had any real issues with this platform yet. I like the one-stop social media shop platform!
Hootsuite simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
The interface of Hootsuite and the ability to schedule/create social media content is fantastic! We can take care of all our social media needs and monitor stats very easily. Hootsuite allows us to be more effective at marketing all activities taking place in our school that impact our school community and stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike at all. My only complaint was being forced to change to a professional plan after years of use when the number of social media accounts allowed in the free plan was reduced. As with many in education, budgets are tight and social media budgets don't exist. We still need to tell the story of our school community effectively, which Hootsuite allows. Any costs take away from student programs. Luckily, there was a discount available, or we would have canceled our account.

We use Hootsuite to help us tell our story as a school. Communicating with our school community all the great activities and opportunities is a vital component to continue building relationships with all our stakeholders.

I feel like it was pretty costly compared to what I was getting

Simple efficient social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can schedule social media posts a month or more in advance and not have to worry about checking in every day

Nothing, it's been amazing for a small business owner such as myself!

I spend one day a month (sometimes every three months) creating and scheduling social media posts and then I just have to respond as comments come in...before I spending time each day messing around on all my social media accounts try to get everything done
