Hootsuite is a powerful for Social Marketing Management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite brings together all the core functions of a social media team under one platform: Scheduling, review, listening and engagement, data analysis, reporting, and more. This means you no longer have to use a bunch of different programs and tools to do posting, vs engagement, vs analytics. It's all in the same place! They also have a 5-star support team and have been extremely helpful with any problems that arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only real downside I have experienced with Hootsuite is a missed post from time to time - however, they always email you if this happens so you can go and repost it yourself and ensure you don't miss any opportunities. Some of the more advanced plans are pricy, but the basic plan tier has worked wonders for us and has all the basic features you need to get started at an affordable price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hootsuite, I no longer have to work with 4 or 5 different social platforms. By spending my time on a single interface I save significant time, which allows me to create more content and focus on bringing in more traffic using other channels and tactics. We have seen significant, sustained growth in our social media traffic since we first began using Hootsuite, primarily because of the efficiencies it provides.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at the classes and educational programs offered by Hootsuite too - they are a great resource and make it easier to use the software if you are new.
Convenient & Reliable Service
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to schedule my posts across all of my four business social media accounts. Having the ability to create a carousel on Instagram is also very useful. I wouldn't be able to always have the time to create and put out content on certain days without Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the content will differ across different social media platforms, dependent on the sizes of your photos or videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is solving the burden of having to come up with social media content on days where I don't have the time or when I am too busy. It allows me to remain consistent and build our brand without having to worry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the reports and analytics inside Hootsuite! They are very helpful.
A necessary tool in my line of work!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can plan weeks at a time of my social schedule. I run multiple social media accounts and it helps to schedule ahead of time and know that everything is taken care of.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you can't add multiple images for instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HS solves the problem of me having to manually post things daily for my social accounts. I realize it's not a realistic thing to be able to do, especially when running multiple accounts. HS saves me there!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider being able to add multiple images to Instagram without having the manual labor associated with that. It would also be cool to add story reminders or story uploads for instagram.

The simplicity of fast posting. Also, it is very convenient the fact that you can schedule your postings.

It is not very visually appealing and that there is not a lot of exciting content

Eased My Workload Immensely
What do you like best about the product?
Not having to worry about the posts being published. If there are any errors, Hootsuite alerts in time for them to be rectified.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recent changes to programme and cost as I cannot afford to upgrade.

I am saving a lot of time, being able to plan ahead, being able to be creative.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite supports all of the major platforms I use for business-to-business sales for my company. I especially appreciate the calendar and how easy it is to edit, schedule, and duplicate posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to understand all of the features of Hootsuite, but there are accessible learning resources available. The messaging platform will occasionally glitch and repeat comments after they were marked as read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves a lot of time by allowing you to share content across multiple platforms in one consolidated place. I am also able to track logistics for all social media content and see where our followers are most active.
Simplifies and expedites social media scheduling!
What do you like best about the product?
This is such an easy and helpful solution for social media planning. I am the only team member that consistently works on our posts and HootSuite makes my life so much easier! Once Instagram became integrated it's been a game changer. We started with the free version and used that for years before finally upgrading to a paid version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike other than drafts can be a bit tough to find/save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule a ton of posts with different messaging and see them all lined up in calendar view. Makes following a plan that much easier. I also love the Video integration (even huge files) and adding my own thumbnails. We have grown our base because of this platform.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is scheduling posts! It has been a live saver and extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more compatibility with social media stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can organize content quickly and identify when I need to schedule posts. I can also use the analytics feature to see our engagement rates across platforms to determine where improvements need to occur.

It is a beneficial platform if you are coordinating several social media platforms.
Great tool for Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a lifesaver for me! As a one person marketing team, this has allowed me to free up a lot of time by planning and scheduleing posts in advance. While it hasn't happened yet, I look forward to being able to schedule posts while I go on vacation and trust that they will roll out on time and in the ways I've planned them. Also, I aprpeciate the ability to make edits after scheduling. That comes in handy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Hootsuite could help me pick and plan tag and hashtags. I find that I have to spend a lot of time and effort finding good tags, but I think it would be pretty useful to add a feature where you can search and include popular tags on your posts rather than having to type them all out by hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When holidays fall on weekends, I don't have to get up and rush to post things first thing in the morning on a day off. I also really appreciate that everything publishes simultaneously, rather than me having to visit each site and try to sync up their posting. It saves time and allows me to stay on top of our brand without spending all my time monitoring social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try! It will absolutely make life easier if you manage more than one social media page.
