Hootsuite Makes Social Media Management a Breeze

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts in advance is the biggest draw for me personally. The feature is saves so much time and allows me to enjoy my weekends without having to worry about our social channels. If there is an issue with a post and it does not go through, they send me an email so that I can quickly rectify it. The analytics dashboard is also invaluable! Hootsuite dashboards provide a birds-eye view on the performance of our many social campaigns. We can quickly analyze the results and create reports and the click of a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the social account will disconnect from Hootsuite — often at the most inopportune times; however, I do not believe that this issue is the fault of Hootsuite. More likely, the problems stem from the social networks themselves. Perhaps an API was changed or updated overnight, which can create unavoidable issues for Hootsuite customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite quickly and efficiently gives me a broad overview of my many social channels. Roughly speaking, it is a command center. I rarely have to leave Hootsuite to accomplish a task. I can schedule content, monitor social channels, and create reports all in one space. While there are many off-brand social media management tools out there, they are just that: off-brands. Hootsuite is the industry standard for a reason.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts in advance. When I see something I want to share, I can schedule it so I'm not sharing everything at once. It streamlines taking a professional approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling a post works really fast on my iPhone, but a bit slower on my MacBook. However, both work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to consistently share relevant content with my followers and Hootsuite is an easy way to do that. I don't have to find content each day. When I see it, I schedule it. Easy!

Great for multiple users

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has an easy-to-use interface for scheduling and managing across all of our social platforms. It is also nice to be able to have multiple users who don't have to connect their personal profiles to log into our social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, we have not found anything that we dislike about Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use between multiple users and preventing sending mistaken messages from personal accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Hootsuite for years. It is easy to use and posts on multiple social sites with only a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall there is little to dislike. The Instant Chat feature does not always get a response and the support response sometimes takes 24 hours--and I suspect they are overseas (outside of the USA) do I understand and give them grace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me reach my social connections on a consistent and regular basis--and I have over 190,000 Twitter followers and over 19,400 LinkedIn Connections. I can engage with my followers using one tool--Hootsuite.

WE dislike taht there is no customer service phone to call.

Best Social Management Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite for over a year now, and I'm pretty impressed at the depth and length I've been able to use the platform quite extensively from setting up streams, boards and adding apps to integrate other data sources to view all my channels in one place. The UI is quite intuitive based on my user experience. To top it up, the Hootsuite Academy and Resources - totally worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite Academy Certification is pricey. If one considers taking the Advanced Social Media Strategy Certification Course, be prepared to fork out $1000.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Community engagement and the ability to schedule and publish for agencies and clients.

The update reduced the amount of post I can schedule for free.

My content will always be on time even if I'm not

Easy & Organized

What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar scheduling and how easy it is to just plug in my posts for days/weeks/months at a time and I can leave them and know that Hootsuite will post them as scheduled.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could opt to "repost" an existing item without having to completely recreate it. If this option exists, I haven't found it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
time management for sure! As mentioned above, I can schedule posts across multiple media outlets and then walk away. Something that was taking me an hour or more A DAY to do across multiple social media profiles, now only takes 15-30mins a WEEK to blast something out to all of them at the times/days I choose.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a simple platform to be able to save you time/money/energy on what you post to your social media outlets - Hootsuite is a great application to do just that. I've loved having my time back so that I can work on other projects and know that Hootsuite will do the work for me by posting when I want them to go out to our various Social Media outlets.

The free account is now limited to posting only five posts at a time.

We have one person charged with all communications responsibilities. The ability to plan posts assures we have a regular facebook presence.

A super streamlined way to handle your social media posts

What do you like best about the product?
I am in charge of the social media marketing for two sister companies, each with multiple social media streams. Hootsuite allows me to see all those streams at one time, post to one or multiplend even provide imagery if I need something quick. I especially love the ability to create Instagram posts on the big computer screen rather than o feeds at once an my phone. As a busy professional, I appreciate how Hootsuite keeps everything organized and on track—it’s like having an extra set of hands! Whether you’re managing a personal brand or a full-scale business, Hootsuite is worth every penny. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had difficulties with scheduling posts ahead of time. Sometimes they simply disappear and I have to recreate them. Streams often disconnect, reasons unknown, and have to be reconnected. Not a big deal but just slows down the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to log into multiple accounts under two different company names is time-consuming and frustrating. Hootsuite allows me to access BOTH company's streams without logging in and out multiple times. I can post information to each individual account or post the same information to them both simultaneously. It saves time, which, in the long run, saves money. The top-notch analytics feature provides detailed insights into engagement and performance that help me fine-tune my strategy. I also love the integration with tools like Canva, which streamlines my content creation workflow.
