Makes scheduling social media easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to schedule out our posts and see them all in one place, it makes me able to focus on other things and let the social media roll out without me physically doing it myself. Also great for monitoring social conversations and streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about using Hootsuite, I think it's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media posting can be very time consuming, but by batching these tasks using hootsuite, I am able to get it all taken care of together and free up time for other work which is so valuable.
Great Free Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy to manage multiple social media platforms in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing LinkedIn posts through Hootsuite is difficult--they don't show up quite right, and there's not the ability to tag people in a post through Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives us the ability to post to Instagram from a computer (otherwise not possible through the Instagram platform) as well as schedule posts ahead of time to post. Helps us to keep our branding messages consistent across Facebook and Instagram.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great option for social media management if you don't want to pay for an account somewhere. There are some limitations, but makes posting to social media much easier, and collects all analytics in one place for you to view.
Hootsuite is the ideal tool for integrating functions with social networking applications
What do you like best about the product?
I have a really complete list of what I like about Hootsuite firstly its interface which is clear and simple, then there is its number of third party integration which allows us to work a large number of social networking applications such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedln perfect for doing advertising work, other positive features of Hootsuite are its tools for team collaboration, reporting, analysis and progress monitoring, its technical support is great and very efficient in conclusion I must say that Hootsuite is one of the leaders in social network management segment
What do you dislike about the product?
Among the things that I have disliked about using Hootsuite is that many of its add-ons are things and some functions are only reserved for more expensive business plans, you need to dig a little deeper into its reputation management functions especially to manage campaigns, I would like to see keyword filtering work better when it comes to reporting, it would also be great if you didn't put a limit on the amount of publications that can be scheduled, as well as spending on advertising through your platform that is limited to different levels depending on your subscription
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organization I often work managing social networks in order to develop marketing campaigns focused on prospective customers and finding an application like Hootsuite that integrates so well with social networks such as Linkedln, Facebook and Twitter has been a real success, we have been able to work with social flows, columns and tabs making use of the various tools of Hootsuite, and finally a function that we found extremely useful in this program was to schedule publications as we simply designed and programmed to be published automatically

Hootsuite is a very versatile software can be useful for small, medium and large enterprises and even for personal use because it is a low cost solution within the market and also has a free version that while it does not have all the functions is also really useful, the strength of this application are the functions of scheduling publications, social network management and team collaboration tools such as tracking analysis and progress reports and this is why I would recommend this application to any type of organization that wants to manage professionally all their social networks
Great free social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
As I used hootsuite within a small startup with limited ressources, the main benefit of the tool was that we could use it for free as long as you don't want to manage too many accounts with it. It can save you a lot of time managing several channels like facebook, linkedin and instagram by letting you post something on all three platforms simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the post editor was a bit buggy, especially tagging people did not always work as it could not find their profiles. Also the emojis need rework as they don't appear on the platforms as they did in the editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it as a communications manager to manage our social media profiles, e.g. see when we're tagged, answer comments and schedule posts for all channels on one central platform. That saved a lot of time.

You should check the tools functionalities beforehand, e.g. how the posts appear on the channel in the end when being send out by hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is user friendly and easy to get up and running, especially for new users in organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can see the "hootsuite" time stamp on the posts, which makes the posts seem inauthentic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You have the ability to manage several different social platforms at one time. It saves you time and keeps you organized. You can also have a team to manage campaigns and not reply on one person. Additionally, the reports and analytics are very insightful in managing campaigns.

User friendly and a great way to manage multiple social platforms at one time. The analytics are extremely helpful in reviewing campaigns and making changes.
Great for keeping up with multiple social accounts!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is awesome for planning out social media posts, and posting automatically. It's great if you run multiple social media accounts for your business. Hootsuite will save you a ton of time when it comes to keeping up with posting on each platform. The moble app is also extremely helpful for when you have to create, edit, or check posts on the go. The analytics is also very useful. You can see all the data for each post in one simple dashboard, which helps you create better content in the future. You can even answer social media messages through Hootsuite, which helps make sure no questions or messages slip through the cracks. Their overall website is also very helpful, as they provide many articles in their "Resources" section, including posts on social marketing, trends, management, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't really a Hootsuite issue, but it's more of an issue with Instagram and Facebook. If those social platforms notice that your posts are coming from a 3rd party like Hootsuite or Loomly, the algorithms will "push" your posts down so they don't get as many views or interactions. I'm also not a huge fan of the price, which is the main reason we decided to cancel our Hootsuite subscription. We were paying about $130/month, which was a lot for a social media management platform, especially when you're running a small business. If the price came down a bit, we would love to reinstate our account!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and energy! Hootsuite allows us to create posts in advance, and then publish them automatically, which saves us a ton of time on a daily basis. We can keep up with holidays, promotions, campaigns, and allow all of our platforms to look consistent together. I like referring to previous posts in order to make sure we're not duplicating posts on similar topics, making our content stay relevant and interesting.

What do you like best about the product?
We have had no problems using Hootsuite for the management of our company's social network accounts. I like how easy this tool allows us to schedule publications on our different social network profiles and at the same time how easy it is to interact with our followers in the same control panel.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might seem expensive or not, depending on the needs of the company or the user in question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By managing our accounts in various social networks, Hootsuite has helped us in some way to expand our reach and gain new followers because of how easy it is to maintain a long activity and interact with our customers, all comfortably from a friendly control panel.

I would definitely recommend Hootsuite for any type of company that wants to impact and keep in constant interaction with the general public through a resource as useful as social networks are today.
Great, reputable social media management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to manage the content and engagement of multiple social media platforms all from one dashboard. They have a very robust help section, and offer rich content to allow you to explore new ideas for content, based on current trends. create, and schedule posts across platforms from one location, review performance of posts, and respond to comments made to your platforms. I also like that you can collaborate as a team, and review and approve posts from within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most features that I need can be found on the free version. But, like any other platform, the paid version enhances your abilities even further. it can become expensive if you have a significant number of users and profiles. The more robust analtyics reporting is somewhat expensive. Another drawback is that you must use their URL shortener (Owly) unless you have a business account, which allows you to create custom vanity URLS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is certainly a time saver. You can plan and execute content ahead of time, and easily monitor and engage with your accounts with relative ease from anywhere. Having access. WIth Amplify, we are also able to easily share curated content that is relevant to your audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always do your homework. Take time to identify what features you need to make your job easier, and more efficient and effective. Reach out to colleagues to get their opinions, then make side by side comparisons. Take advantage of free trials before committing to a paid contract.

Sometimes the social posts don't publish, although this is infrequent, it does happen from time to time. This is the same with other platforms as well, so I don't blame them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Been able to reduce the amount of time I spend managing and posting to accounts drastically. Also, we are able to save time by providing everyone visibility into what is happening in our social media channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider them. A bit pricier than other platforms, but includes more tools and is easier to manage. They also write great blog posts, to help you with social media marketing.

The main problem being solved is consistency. Not having to post "in the moment" from a cell phone is proving to be invaluable
