Easy to use social management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Calendar scheduling. Multiplatform mgmt.

It does occasionally disconnect platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to build out a week or two to cover when not in the office. Also great to have Monday ready to fire before the weekend. It is great when you need to build out a strategy of posts rather than reactive posting, but you can still post on the fly when necessary. The monitoring capability makes it easy to re-share. The analytics look fine, however we haven't really dug into this aspect of the tool. If you're managing multiple social networks or even managing multiple companies, this type of tool is a must-have. Hootsuite is user friendly and easy to learn.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give their free trial a look. It will help you stay better engaged.

What do you like best about the product?
1. The calendar view to see the scheduled posts

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Connecting social media accounts to Hootsuite was difficult for me. Some kept disconnecting, others said I didn't have permission. Took a while to sort that out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have an automatic way of approving posts without interns having to create a spreadsheet, I approve it, they put it into Hootsuite, I check again for approval. Now they just upload to Hootsuite, I review, and posts are scheduled. The analytics are great so I'm able to make more informed decisions about social media strategy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've used several different scheduling platforms over the past 7 years and I always go back to Hootsuite. Usually, I'm trying out other scheduling platforms because I've been asked to try something cheaper than Hootsuite but there is a reason Hootsuite Enterprise costs what it does - you get everything. It is absolutely worth the investment especially if you have multiple social media accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Hootsuite is that I like being about to write one post and it will upload the same post to your social media sites. I also like being able to see majority of your past postings to avoid duplication. Another upside is that they offer a free version for those who have certain needs for the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can be a little confusing when editing posts. I also created a post and saved it as a draft. It took me a while to finally locate and access my drafted post. To make it easier, there should be a button for "saved drafts" on the main dashboard/home screen of Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has made posting to social media accounts easy with one step versus having to post to each individual site. You can also create posts in advance with future scheduling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For new business owners and even those starting to market, Hootsuite is a great platform, especially to those new to social media. I would certainly recommend giving it a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, very intuitive to collaborate, schedule new posts and look up SEO analytics/ trending key words.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, there are sometimes a slight delay when transitioning landing pages and managing roles could be slightly improved aesthetically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to understand and analyze current trends in the market and gain insight in how our posts and articles are doing (reach, insight, followers gained/ followed). Hootsuite has made it very easy to collaborate with the marketing team to ensure no overlap or repeat posts.
Easy to Use Social Media Platform
What do you like best about the product?
It was an easy program to use, I can use it on mobile or my desktop and schedule all my posting at once. Saves me time and effort from going to post across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did have some issues connecting my Instagram and keeping my platforms connected at times. Had some errors, but nothing to deter me from using it in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy for me to get my posts across multiple platforms which saves me and and the aggravation of having to login multiple places and re write the same post.

Easy to use, I would recommend. In my opinion one of the best social media posting platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease and simplicity of use is wonderful, anyone at any skill level can use it and understand it. The multi-streams is very helpful in seeing ALL the clutter coming in from all social channels and be able to make sense of it quickly and react or respond. The "preview" option for seeing how your post will look while scheduling has never been wrong! The uptime and availability of Hootsuite is great, it rarely has issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting capabilities seem basic and limited, even when purchasing credits. I get more from downloading the raw data from the social platform native data export and doing my own analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not just scheduling out social media on an easy calendar, but being able to listen to the social media chatter on ALL social channels in the Streams view allows us to respond so fast to customers!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
since the hootsuite free version is no longer available, consider other options if you're going for deep level social media analytics and reporting (that's not Hootsuite's specialty). However, you're going to have to export data from native social channels anyway for analysis, so don't let this be a deterrent. Hootsuite is still a wonderful social media management platform and the easiest i have ever used, with the most uptime!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can tag accounts inside Hootsuite's post creator. Its integration with various social network account search is amazing. Every time I write a post and want to tag someone, I don't have to switch to the Twitter to check if I got their username correctly, just type @ and start typing out the company and you'll see the accounts by that name.
Hootsuite also does a great job at showing accurate post previews. I never had an issue of scheduling something and then having a problem with link preview on the website, unlike with other scheduling platforms.
And also, how great is it that I can gather my social media analytics in one place?! It's so time-consuming to switch between so many accounts when creating reports, so this feature is real time-saver!

What do you dislike about the product?
Well I used to not like the design but they recently updated it and looks great and up to date. For now, I sometimes experience issues where the platform logs me out for no good reason. I hope they fix this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving so much time by being able to schedule my posts in one place for different social media platforms and features like native user tagging mentioned above.
Additionally, I use the Streams feature to follow relevant hashtags and keywords across social networks like Twitter and LinkedIn to keep in loop of the latest industry news and other related content that is helpful for my social media content calendar ideation.

Hootsuite is quite easy to get used to, just make sure you do all the integrations and give a quick tour of the software before assigining it to your team because no matter how easy it is to use a software, some people just hate change.
Great for the busy marketer!
What do you like best about the product?
Using the free plan, I am able to post simultaneously on all of our social media sites. We use the “big three” - Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. It also allows me to track post analytics in a much easier fashion. Other features I like include the chance to preview posts (and what they look like on all sites) before publishing, as well as the ability to schedule posts up to three months in advance!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues posting YouTube videos to all of our social media sites, which results in time lost as I have to manually post those. Also, every social media site has different photo requirements. I think those need to be taken into account before posting, as images may get cropped without approval. One thing I would love, and maybe it is available under the paid plan, is to get a weekly post performance report sent to my email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the only person on my marketing team. This tool helps free up some of my time by posting to multiple social media outlets at one time, while being able to track the analytics of my post(s). It is a game changer for me! I want to look more into social media monitoring to help some more. I also wish for the ability to track followers. Maybe there is more available on the paid version, but being a small company, I use most free plans that can benefit us.

I haven’t found anything that compares to the ease of use Hootsuite offers.
