Easy to use and provides analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up a post and attach images on my company's multiple social media accounts. I also like how easy it is to evaluate the performance of each account during specific time frames. I also like that they work with free stock photo sites so that if you're in a pinch, you can find the right image.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up streams can be a bit confusing. Also, if you're running multiple social media accounts, you need to triple check that multiple accounts aren't selected when evaluating the analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to post on multiple accounts and scheduling them ahead of time. My team is able to set up posts ahead of time, then edit and update if needed. Also, gives us a way to evaluate the engagement rates of our posts to see which accounts are the most successful.
Comprehensive social media suite
What do you like best about the product?
I've used both Hootsuite and HubSpot for social media scheduling. They each have pros and cons, but Hootsuite excels in:
+ Tracking mentions - easier to see a feed on your dashboard
+ Tracking hashtags - *much* easier to see a feed on your dashboard
+ Ease of posting from multiple accounts - one-click posting capabilities more editable than in HubSpot
+Dashboard customization, with higher-level accounts

What do you dislike about the product?
- Neither Hootsuite nor HubSpot offer tagging individuals on LinkedIn
- Less-intuitive tracking if you're already using the HubSpot CRM
- Harder to connect Facebook accounts -- Hootsuite repeatedly thinks I don't admin our page
- Dashboard flexibility directly tied to account level

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We switched from HubSpot to Hootsuite for the ability to post to multiple individual LinkedIn accounts. In addition, my previous usages of Hootsuite has shown it's far easier to attract traffic using the power of conversation, as enabled by hashtag tracking.
Hootsuite Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to collaborate and have a full view of scheduled posts and activity. Easy to monitor statistics and trends, and also filter posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a large learning curve to understand how to integrate all of Hootsuites product offerings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems would be the process it takes for admins to approve changes as it doesn’t always notify the admin which causes delays. Overall a useful tool for SEO and marketing/ marketing analysis.
A must-have for Social Media marketing
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule an entire week’s worth of social media messages with one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could manipulate more data using comma separated values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hootsuite there is no need to be constantly posting on social media: you draft all your posts in accordance with your company’s strategy, and send them over to be posted on the specified dates and times, keeping constant contact with your audience. Moreover, you can have your staff contribute their ideas for social media posts, and screen them before they go out.
Changed social media for me
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy to pick up, made managing social media so much more manageable. Allows you peace of mind while still maintaining a steady stream of posts!
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive to upgrade and would be nice if you could make changes to posts for specific social media channels within the same original post, but really I have few complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule all the posts for the week at once instead of actually waiting for the time I mean for the post to be posted. Ease of mind, convenience, organization. It even tells you the best time to schedule a post. I found social media posting somewhat intimidating before, seriously I can’t recommend this program enough.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great if you are a small company starting to get bigger and getting overwhelmed by social media. If you’re going to be serious about social media you need to consider software like this.
My view on Hootsuite's Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Hootsuite a few years ago and never looked back. The platform is very easy to use and user-friendly. I get to manage all my social media channels from one simple dashboard not to mention the integration with other software and the data that i get from the performances of my channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. I think they got the formula right as they platform offers almost everything that one would want when it comes to a content management system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Hootsuite has helped me cut my work load in half. I can manage all social channels in one easy to use dashboard. I get to see what is happening across all my channels all in one place. This saves so much time and one does not have to go to each social channel to view its performance etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is definitely one of the best content management platform out there, so if you looking for something that's affordable and has everything you need to manage all your social media needs then this is it.
It does what you want, helps establish ROI of social
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite works. You schedule the posts, they are delivered. Though I don't find it the best for managing social for a basic company that only uses 3 or 4 platforms, when you get in the high platform number it is quite helpful. 100% recommend for e-commerce companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit pricey when you get up to the 'business' level. At $599/month, you better be using social media as a huge profit generator to justify the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is great for collaboration in a team. One of the biggest annoyances to a marketing manager is having to go back and forth a few times on something like a social calendar. Hootsuite helps you do that painlessly
Seamless social media posting and management
What do you like best about the product?
To be able to simultaneously track multiple mediums at once is pretty key for a social media manger. Also, the ability to post things at the same time saves so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Instagram plug-in is not always seamless and can get better. Also, the hashtag feature could use some improved integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency, personal and business use, geographic hurdles with COVID
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This service can be as basic or as advanced as you want. In other words - you get out what you put in. From personal use of managing and posting multiple social media accounts (which I strongly recommend for frequent posters) to business-related marketing management, it's the premiere tool available.
HootSuite as Social Media Scheduler
What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient to have a place for all of your social media channels within one platform. I also love the calendar feature, where I can easily see the week's content planned out and move posts around if need be,
What do you dislike about the product?
While you can post the same content on two platforms, there is no easy way to take the template of a previous post and edit it slightly for a new social media platform. Instead, you have to start the new post from scratch. (Minor issue, though!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a TON of time being able to schedule social media content out ahead of time.
Gets the job done - kind of
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface that anyone can pick up and start using with very limited skills needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The photo editor is very limited, so I tend to do all edits in Photoshop especially sizing down before uploading into Hootsuite. The reporting is very basic and not that insightful, so I tend to go directly to the platforms to pull helpful data in order to plan out our social content month after month. The platforms get disconnected from Hootsuite on a regular basis for no apparent reason - sometimes a few times a week.
The integration with IG is very limited, so you are better off posting right within IG than trying to use Hootsuite for that channel at the moment. '
Not all of the messages or mentions get picked up by Hootsuite, which requires you once again to supplement the tool with using the native platforms themselves to properly monitor and respond to consumers so there is a constant uncertainty if we are seeing and responding to everything or accidentally and unknowingly ignoring some comments.

We were previously posting on individual platforms, so this reducing that need since you can post to all channels pretty quickly by simply duplicating and adjusting the copy from one platform to another.
