Hootsuite make social marketing easier
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an incredible tool for social media marketing. The best thing I like about the tool is that it helped me to handle all my social profiles from one platform. I schedule my social posts, reply to all messages and comments and even analyze the performance on all posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is really pricey and is not affordable by individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helped me in saving a lot of my time that I previously wasted in handling individual social accounts. This all-in-one tool help me do social marketing in an effective way.

No advanced Reporting capabilities to know what content is the most influent.

With Hootsuite I save a lot of time managing at the same time all my social media accounts .
Hootsuite is great platform to schedule social media posts and monitor feeds

How easy it is to create posts accross platforms and monitor feeds.

Being able to incorporate rich media and videos easier into posts and format correctly.

Scheduling posts and monitoring social media engangement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continue to improve the ease of use.
Horrible Customer Service - Overpriced Features
What do you like best about the product?
This is an ok option for folks with no other automation tools. If your marketing automation platform bakes in social (like Hubspot), then just go with that.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're looking for an enterprise solution, run as fast as you can. The last 3 years we've paid for the platform it hasn't been used.
The aggregate posting and analytics are not impressive by any means. It's the same type of features you get for free on so many other platforms. In the past, I've also experienced a decrease in overall impressions and engagement on social when posting through the Hootsuite platform. Allegedly, it's because the social sites will recognize that you're posting offsite. We've moved to posting directly in-network and organically engaging with influencers, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite locks people into contracts and will not let them out. My organization has literally spent years trying to get them to cancel - with ample notice. Upwards of a year notice, at times. And then following up more than 30 days before cancellation because we never hear back from customer service - and still they won't let us out of a contract. The churn rate must be high because we're never able to connect with the same person month after month, and when we are contacted by our customer support manager - they are not able to help us with anything. Only the most basic administrative tasks - ones that you can normally do right from a portal, like adding users - is what these reps have the power to do. Everything else must go to 'upper management' - who will never contact you back. Even though a formal ticketing process, we've been trying to get help that requires "upper management" and it's almost been a month now, and our CSM says that our ticket has been escalated, but he's the only person that will write us back, even though he has no authorization to help. It's absolutely maddening. I've never put a bad review out on G2 and I've used hundreds of marketing tools in my career. I've never seen anything quite like this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can see where these features might benefit a very small business with no other marketing resources or technology. The free or close-to-free versions are fine. If you don't have to deal with people at this organization, then you're all set.
Get your weekends back!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use and it compatible with popular social media platforms. Plus, I can schedule a post in advance on a Friday, so that I don't have to worry about anything during the weekends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Hootsuite would provide a more detailed breakdown of social media analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to work on weekends just so I can post daily and maintain the momentum of our social media page. With Hootsuite, I have enough time to think about strategies and I get to have worry-free weekends - which is priceless.
Growing
What do you like best about the product?
Pricing is great. Organizational Structure and Flexibility are what sold us. You can add people to different teams and change permission levels. So multiple people can have access to the same account with different permission levels. It makes working as a team very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
They can't schedule recurring posts (December 2019) and their bulk uploader makes you have to reattach images and videos each time (instead of pulling from a content library) - slows the process down when you're working with multiple clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working as a team and having the visibility we need is great. Being able to play with our organizational structure is nice to give and limit access to certain clients is definitely a must. Also - Hootsuite allows you to preview what a post is going to look like, this is surprisingly helpful.
Best social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best tools for managing entire social media portfolio. The ability to view everything in a single place and schedule posts based on time to post and reach is the best feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better multimedia capability would be great. Also the pricing is a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media managing and analytics to take data driven decisions.
A good tool for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see a weekly schedule of social media content. This helps you see a birds eye view of all campaigns across all networks running for the week as well as see available time slots. It also allows you to schedule up to 30 posts without paying for the service which is good for someone just starting out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social media sites often disconnect without reason from service meaning prepared posts often fail to go up. This is especially bad with Facebook products. I have had to stop using it with Instagram as it often refuses to post meaning posts end up going out later than they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps being able to schedule posts between all networks svaing you the hassle of going through and posting to each network directly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out the free version first and see it if it works for you.
One of the better tools for Social Media out there
What do you like best about the product?
A single dashboard for all channels. And a really simple and interactive UI
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the UI and UX can be improved further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media management from a single dashboard. Not having to individually manage multiple account and juggle around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead, try it out. Great for social media management.
Great tool for scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact i can post to multiple platforms at once. This saves considerable time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be more tools available. Better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously had to login to 5 social network snow i can do it all with hoot suite which is much quicker
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a good time saver but if you are looking for a full suite of tools then hootsuite seems to me to be lacking something - I'm sure what it is lacking but I'm yet to find a social media tool that has what i need so this is not a slant at hootsuite. It's a great tool
