Great Tool for Managing Multiple Social Media Profiles
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature is the ability to directly publish on Instagram business profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Publishing to Twitter is limited to only one account at a time. This is really inconvenient when you have to post the same content to many twitter profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I handle around 30 social media handles, and having Hootsuite definitely helped me reduce the amount of work I had to do. All my social media posts are now streamlined and perfectly scheduled without any hiccups.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If Twitter publishing is on top of your list, then Hootsuite is limited in its capability as you can only publish to a single Twitter account at once. The initial setup is cumbersome but once past that point, Hootsuite is a well-rounded tool.
Great platform to have all scheduled messages in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Hootsuite offers a wide range of platforms you can connect and start scheduling messages on. Also, how it shows all notifications from each platform in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
This only happens very rarely, but I've noticed sometimes a platform can become disconnected from the Hootsuite dashboard, meaning any current scheduled messages won't go out. Thankfully Hootsuite are quick to inform you via email if this ever happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is saving time, being able to simply tick all of the platforms you'd like a post to go out on is so easy, and helpful.
All accounts in one place
What do you like best about the product?
As a business we have numerous social media accounts for different exhibitions we run. Hootsuite makes it simple to schedule posts for all of them at once so I don’t have to keep bouncing between sites and logging out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if a post has a link and this attaches a photo it appears on the preview but doesn’t appear on the actual post unless you click the picture also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only have to log in once a day and I can schedule posts for the whole day across all my accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really great if you have more than one account and are getting in a tangle to manage them all separately.
Simple to use, good user interface
What do you like best about the product?
Calendar for scheduling posts, gives you a great overview and also preview of the post going out. Which makes it really easy to review and also double check that everything is correct.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to tag people in scheduled posts, you can do companies but not a person. This was a pain for me as i really wanted to have three of my colleagues tagged in the post, so it meant i had to add them in a few hours later once i was in the office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowed me to schedule a post for 5:00am when my team was at an exhibition in the middle east. Without the scheduling capabilities i'd have to post later in the day or get up really early. Again the ability to tag people is a bit of an issue, obviously with the ability to tag companies the tech is there, so it can be done!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need the ability to tag people in posts then look at others available first

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great platform because in it I can manage all the social networks that manages my company for the management of campaigns and newsletters and advertising and be able to do the marketing for potential customers and already established in the database, Impressive to have on a board all my social networks with multiple tabs in front of me. I also love being able to program the same publications and click on several social networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like many of its paid functions to be free, and see more updates, I also see that is very oriented to the Twitter platform most of the useful transmissions, such as monitoring thematic conversations, etc. I would like to see more functions in LinkedIn and Facebook as they are some of the platforms that we use in my company for marketing and advertising.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to achieve integrations with social networks especially with Twitter and LinkedIn, has the ability to help collect content. I was constantly looking for things to retweet to interact with others online, so I used one of my columns to track particular keywords. Then I got tweets and real-time posts from people talking about the issues I wanted to get involved with and retweet for the brands I was managing. Honestly, that made my job 100 times easier!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most social network platforms have a programming aspect, but having to manually log in and out of each of them to do so is neither feasible nor speed-enhancing. Hootsuite provides analysis on each of your chosen platforms, located in your control panel, to help you identify the best times to schedule each publication to be sent; this is especially useful for days you know you will be on the move and / or will not have access to the technology. You can also scroll through past social network publications, save unfinished drafts and increase publications for content promotions is special for large and small businesses.

It manages a limited number of accounts.

Scheduling posts to go out in time-based hashtags makes 24 hour posting much easier.

Definitely the first social media management program I would look to implement.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is reliable and easy to use for scheduling twitter posts. I just have to look at the right hand row for the posts i've scheduled. It also has the date to be scheduled written clearly on the right hand corner so that's easy for me to check back.
What do you dislike about the product?
It keeps prompting me that my company's linkedin and facebook account arent connected on the dashboard, however we do not intend to schedule posts in advance for these social media accounts. I have no idea how to turn it off.
The interface can look quite confusing from the rows and rows of 'streams' going on. It would be good if i can expand one stream and minimize the rest because I only use 1 stream mainly, which is the scheduled post stream.
I'm unsure how to use the analytics as well.

I use Hootsuite at work as a digital marketer, mainly for twitter.
It helps save time and I only have to schedule a bunch of posts once a month and let it run.

Hootsuite is great for scheduling posts for your company ahead of time.
In terms of analytics and more advanced uses, it can be quite complicated.
However it is definitely reliable as my company has been using Hootsuite to schedule twitter posts for more than a year now.
It is more reliable than other free post scheduling softwares like Postfity but that is free for now. For company uses, Hootsuite is still our go-to.

Great tool for your Social Media Pages
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Hootsuite when I was a Social Media Manager and VA for my client's e-learning page. We mainly used it for our Instagram. What I like best about hootsuite is it's all-in-one interface, I get to see not only it's scheduled post but also the timeline and it's responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the all-in-one interface is a pro but it can also be a con. When I was new to it, I find it confusing. Compared to other social media management platform, it's more confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, I haven't encountered any problems with Hootsuite.
