Great Social Media Management App for Busy Managers
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy my ability to create channels within Hootsuite to manage posts, accounts, and trends on social media. It saves me a lot of time. By having everything in one place, I can work more efficiently. I like being able to post to all of my networks at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that posts sent via Hootsuite indicate that in the post. I wish I could post more than one image at once to Instagram from Hootsuite. I would like to be able to run analysis on my networks from Hootsuite itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me to manage my time with our social media sites. I have been able to significantly increase audience engagement in only two months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As long as you don't need to rely upon Hootsuite for social media analytics, its a great resource.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy to use social media content management platform that you can use for free if on a low marketing budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't as visually appealing compared to other platforms like Sprout Social and Hubspot

Being able to schedule social media posts in advance is very useful.

Figure out how involved you want to be with social media before choosing a paid option or free option.

What do you like best about the product?
You can set up feeds, or streams as HootSuite calls it, which allow you to monitor everything from trending news stories to post containing specific keywords or hashtags to posts from other pages in your industry or competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're looking to post a small amount of content to one network, these tools probably don't add a lot of value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the strength of tools like this isn't just that they schedule, it's that they schedule across multiple networks. Second, they provide an analysis of what you post. I guess it comes down to what you want to pay vs the level of functionality you get.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I am able to send out one unified message to all social media services upon one click of a button, essentially.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how not as many details are uploaded when you submit to websites such as YouTube, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s definitely a time management application. If your position requires a heavy amount of social media posting (which mine did) it will help you save time.

My experience was pleasant but unless you’re running a lot of social media pages (which we weren't) it may not be entirely worth it.
Does the Job but isn't very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite can manage all your platforms across different businesses (as I manage 3 businesses). The ability to post to all platforms at the same time as well as create bulk posts and scheduled posts is a huge plus when managing many social media lines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't as user friendly as other social media management softwares. There is not a calendar really to help you see all posts upcoming and past at a glance. Also when sharing it with another team member, the views can get very confusing to others and I feel that the learning curve is a bit high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helped me to better plan out my social media posts for the several businesses that I run. I also took advantage of their social media courses. I have switched from Hootsuite to a different social media management software
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out other platforms. Hootsuite is a good program but there are so many more you can choose from out there now you really need to do some research before paying Hootsuite any money.

Is one of the few decks that allows you to post on Instagram.
Other feature that I like is analytics. You will need to see what happens in your metrics.

What do you dislike about the product?
Like all the other decks the free version is limited at 3 networks. The software doesn't give you automatic options for each network: for example if you write for Insta does not recommend you a shortened text for Twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram in the same time and programming posts in advance, what we call a social media calendar.

I dislike that I can’t use hashtags on the app. I have to do it on the social media for the comments

Easy to learn this scheduling software
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to self-teach myself how to use this software. It also offers several different tiers that allow you to choose how many accounts you need to sync up with.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to tag other accounts when scheduling a post for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to schedule post for after regular work hours. Bulk posting across more channels makes it easy to organize my content calendar by month or account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool to use if you whether you are managing multiple accounts for several brands or just managing the accounts for your small business. Works great for amateurs and expert knowledge of social media management.
EASY TO USE
What do you like best about the product?
Step by step UI making it easy to use and reach a wide range of social media accounts. Having a mobile app is really handy too the fact that it has a media library helps too
What do you dislike about the product?
Would have loved to see the desktop app remember common hashtags that I use the way the mobile app does. Also would like to see and option to post to Instagram stories included. Easier way to location tagging

Im having an issue trying to link a facebook group even though ive added the permissions for external apps like hootsuite on facebook and it all checks out except that i can't still post to the group

Ease of use and one post to multiple platforms is great! The analytics available is great and also having the dashboard to reply to all platforms from one control centre is great!
Hootsuite is a great tool for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature with hootsuite is the ability to monitor social posts going out and also view tweets coming in. Hootsuite makes it very easy to filter through tweets in your mentions as well as tweets from users that you follow. I find responding to tweets through the platform a lot more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the tool had unfollowing/following capabilities to monitor ratios and such. If they had a feature to see the mst recent followers you have recieved or to see which followers have unfollowed, you'd be able to garner even more useful information. It would also be useful if more people could access one account for small teams and businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it easier to monitor social media and to curate content. Scheduling tweets with their easy to use calendar makes the life of a social media manger much easier.
