What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to manage so many different social networks. You can Schedule Posts in Advance, Manage Customer Service on Social Media Efficiently and easily View Analytics Data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly fees are too expensive and you pay for using extra apps. If you are not a computer wizard, it can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s very easy to manage all your accounts in different tabs with Hootsuite
Great for simple tasks, not so much for more complicated set-ups
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to set-up basic dashboards. I appreciate that boolean searches can be performed. Easy to use with hardly any learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool can be very buggy and can not handle more complex set-ups well. It's integration with other tools works sometimes, but not all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is great for simple projects with small teams. It can be set-up quickly and easily which saves time and money.

Great for simple projects, not complex ones.

You don't have to download it, it's a web-based app and It offers a free plan as well as a 30-days free trial period for the Hootsuite Pro

The Hootsuite free plan only allows you to manage three social media profiles.

I like Hootsuites ability to filter out hashtags users common phrases and things like that

I don't like the limited capabilities of the free version, like the limit of 30 post scheduled at a time

Hootsuite has simplified my job a little. Not enough in the free version though
Great for managing multiple pages and platforms
What do you like best about the product?
I manage the organization's social media accounts and many of our programs each have their own social accounts. Hootsuite allows me to see everything in one place. I have tabs set up for each of the programs/orgs I manage and within those tabs I can see what is published and scheduled on each platform. This makes cross posting content much easier and means I only have to think about social media planning one day a week. After posts are scheduled, they automatically post to the correct platform at the right time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I manage so many pages, we opted to purchase a membership vs. using the free version. I was sent a promotional email saying our plan would include monthly boosted posts. After paying, I was not able to find that feature or get in touch with support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without hootsuite, I had multiple tabs open to different social media platforms all the time. For some platforms, like Instagram, you can't schedule in advance so I'd have to remember when and what to post everyday. Now I can plan it all at once and forget about it for a week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you document any promotions they send you so you have proof to follow up with.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about HootSuite is definitely the scheduling across multiple platforms. It is affordable, and it offers multiple, customizable options for different users. Far from limiting you, it extends your reach on social media by saving you time!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve. It isn't 100% user friendly, but once you get used to it, it is amazing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit by far of using HootSuite for me has been the convenience. It has saved me so much time which in turn has allowed me to up my social media game across multiple platforms!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give yourself time to learn this platform and utilize every single aspect! It is a great tool, but don't limit yourself by failing to harness all of the potential it has to offer!

UI is not good but who cares it is a business application

The ability to manage multiple accounts within a social platform, scheduling and calendaring posts, analytics, data/ROI/analytics

There is a paid plan that has better analytics, the platform's interface isn't the most intuitive (ex: streams and views)

Social Media Multitasking At It's Best
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Hootsuite's new scheduling feature - it's minimal, sleek and very easy to use. I also really like how it allows you to preview the posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the streams layout can begin to look too busy. Also, I really don't like that you have to schedule tweets one at a time per profile. The overall layout, besides the new scheduling featuring is looking a bit antiquated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of not being able to post at opportune times as a company. We have seen good engagement on social media posts from times that would have been very difficult to post at if we could not have scheduled it with Hootsuite.
Superb Social Media Management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I am able to monitor all of my businesses social media accounts on one dashboard!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that for certain social accounts it does not let you post multiple photos. However, if you go through the app itself you can.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to monitor all of my businesses social media accounts, plan out posts accordingly and analyze the data.

Enable users to post multiple photos to each platform!
