Reliable publishing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a reliable publishing tool that helps streamline digital marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality of Hootsuite could be improved. For example, the ability to tag other users in a social post via Hootsuite's publishing platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has benefited our company and helped organize all digital marketing materials in one streamlined space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend the Hootsuite platform to companies who are in need of an all-in-one social monitoring and publishing tool.
For the world of social monitoring and programming this program is great.
What do you like best about the product?
Contains excellent characteristics that make collaboration and working together efficient; Its integration is a success since it is integrated with all popular social networking platforms. In addition, the panel system with all social networks at the same time is one of the best aspects to consider. It fascinates me how it can be so explicit, that is, the reports are very detailed, help to control trends and measure continued growth. It should be noted that programming the publications is quick and easy once knowledge about the software is acquired.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is important to note that while I can add links to a publication, I can not hyperlink the words, which would be useful to implement. Another fact to highlight is that I would like Hootsuite to update some icons from different social platforms, since it could be a bit confusing to determine more quickly. I could also observe that it contains limited metrics to its credit. However, it is a very capable program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program came to our company a while ago and has yielded good results since it is use. Hootsuite is used to manage our social networks, share content quickly across multiple platforms and stay connected to what our audience says about our brand. We are very happy that it is such an effective tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With Hootsuite, companies can post updates, connect with their customer base and review the responses on popular social networks. It is perfect for those interested because in just a few hours you can create social content for several weeks, eliminating the need to have someone dedicated full time. I would consider it one of the best in managing multiple media.
Great for 360 community management

Being able to plan the different posts on the different platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Problems related to social media regulations that cause the service to evolve overnight without control from Hoosuite, which are subject to the rights of social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve community management and facilitate publishing with different levels of control and automation of posts. Allow having all social networks on a single platform to avoid switching from one connection to another to create content.
Very good for a 360 community manager automation

the possibility to schedule all message/image sends with or without pre-validation. This allowed for creating a schedule for recurring posts without validation, but for more specific posts, to verify them before going online.
What do you dislike about the product?
the problem is that each service is dependent on the uncertainties of social media strategies, which means that certain parts of the Hootsuite offering evolve according to the social network's permissions and can change overnight without notice

to be able to create a smooth community manager strategy and plan for the long term

Same, check because the internet is teeming with similar solutions and understand what the real service we need is. Hootsuite met my criteria, but yours?
Great site - terrible connection.

I love being able to schedule my posts, and I love the ability to see my posts in real time when I am scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The profiles disconnecting all the time.

I can schedule my posts so far in advance. It helps me not worry so much about social media during the week.

I liked the ability to schedule and plan social media content across multiple platforms for multiple accounts both for the company and personal
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduled posts did not always post and sometimes there were integration issues with certain platforms (especially Instagram, our most used social media platform) and especially for non-Facebook pages (personal accounts). I also don't like how you cannot schedule more than one post at the same time on the same platform (at least for the $49.99/month plan)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being more efficient with social media management; saved time and effort; also allows me to post during peak hours without actually having to post at that very time

Better integration with the social media platforms

What do you like best about the product?
Obviously scheduling social posts is nice, but there are many better options out there. Hootsuite is not very intuitive and overall I hated working on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We tried it and found it to be extremely clumsy and difficult to use. Certain features that can't be done due to social platform restraints COULD be handled better to make the manual posting easier for their customers. Other platforms offer much better solutions. Many of our photos loaded wrong, we constantly had errors, the interface is just LACKING big time. We used it for a month and decided we did not like it and tried to get a refund just to find out that when you pre-pay for the year you are stuck with it. No refunds allowed. Their customer support is awful and to let a dissatisfied customer leave angry is not a great way to do business. A waste of $350.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't seen any benefits when compared to several other social scheduling platforms. Hootsuite was my least favorite that we tried.

Do your homework and thoroughly research your other options for this service. Do not commit to a year with them unless you are very sure. If you look at the competition you are unlikely to choose Hootsuite.

With Hootsuite is easy to manage multiple social media’s accounts simultaneously. The interface is well developed so you will know how to use it since the first minute, it is highly intuitive and user-friendly, and so you will be creating social media’s posts immediately.
In the Hootsuite’s platform, you can create posts, customize them as much as you want, add images and URLs (Hootsuite have a URL’s shortener integrated), and then publish them directly or scheduling for different dates, and you will even see how it will look on your social media as it has a preview feature.
Hootsuite will even allow you to create promoted content on your social media, so you can engage a more significant number of audience and get more success.
You can see a planner with all of the past and upcoming posts, and have access to different statistics that will help you to know what kind of posts are working better and which ones don’t, so you can fix your strategy to adapt to your audience needs.
Hootsuite will even let you keep a track on the engagement, mentions, and even hashtags, so you will have the metrics to see what’s happening and what are the latest social media’s trends that you can use for your strategy.

Hootsuite's mobile app is not so well developed as the desktop version, so you will lose time trying to create a new post on it. Despite that, we love how easy it is to manage our social media's accounts since we start using Hootsuite.

We used to waste so much time daily creating post manually on each of our social media, but since we started using Hootsuite, this is not a problem anymore. Now we can create multiple posts for the rest of the month in a single day, so now we can use that free time into our company growth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite has a lot of features, and although it is easy to use, you can always see the tutorials that they offer to you so that you can take the most out of your social media's strategies.
Best Scheduling Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that I can duplicate post. This is a huge time saver. I used to schedule FB post right out of FB.... but they don't offer the Duplicate post option.... so I'm now using Hootsuite. I also LOVE the fact that I can change out images and resize images without having to redo the post.... like in FB. FB lets you replace image.... but then it defaults to you profile picture. Causing me to delete post and do over.
What do you dislike about the product?
My 6 clients all use the FREE version. While I'm thankful for the 30 free post.... I wish there was an less costly option for the next tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Double work.... Love the Duplication feature. Love the resize option.
