Difficult to schedule posts
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can schedule posts on multiple social media sites. You can have the same post scheduled to upload on various sites at the same time, which is a HUGE time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing the time on posts that were already scheduled is somewhat difficult. Also it is not possible to access posts that failed to post through the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My business is able to save time by scheduling what we want to share on our social media. Rather than taking out time every day to make a post, we just spend a few hours in the beginning of the week making posts. Then we can relax knowing that we have content which will be uploaded every day automatically.
HootSuite- cheap and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like HootSuite for its functionality at a low cost. For my needs, it has plenty of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do have to pull my own social media analytics reports. I wish HootSuite had this capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media scheduling for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn for about 10 social accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HootSuite is one of the simplest social media scheduling platforms. Which is great, but there are items it doesn't have that other more expensive programs have. But, it has great functionality for the price point.
Great tool for social media monitoring and scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
We started using HootSuite a few months ago, along with Talk Walker, and they've both been an improvement to what we were using before. We have two people creating posts for Facebook and Twitter in HootSuite, and it's easy to go see what's been scheduled for the day/week for all of our social accounts. I also like that you can assign tasks to specific people, such as responding to specific @ mentions or creative approvals for new posts etc. Talk Walker is pretty expensive, but if you want to see what people are saying about your brand/company online and what kind of exposure it's getting, it's definitely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very expensive and I'm pretty sure there are cheaper alternatives out there. But if I remember correctly, we would have had to use several different services to get all the things we use HootSuite for, so we bit the bullet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media scheduling and brand monitoring are the main ones.
Streamline your platforms in a snap
What do you like best about the product?
Time is crucial when building your marketing campaign; hootsuite allows me the ability to save time and ensure cross-platform cohesion with my social media campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t particularly think of a dislike regarding this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves my company on having to design a proprietary calendar system to merge and execute cross platform management
Great for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that I could schedule social media posts ahead of time. This allowed me to share my posts with co-workers and have time to proof read our work before posting. It also allowed me to schedule posts for peak traffic time on the various sites without worrying about cramming those slots into my busy schedule. AND it did not cost money to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like that I was unable to share my posts with other emails, so only one person or account could edit social media postings at a time. it also did not provide any data on how many people were viewing and interacting with social media posts after they were published.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I used this to deal with was finding time to create and edit effective social media advertisements during the different peak times of various websites in my busy schedule. I realized the benefit of pre timing posts at my leisure and perfecting them by allowing other coworkers to manage my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is free to use so I recommend trying it out if you are looking for a tool to help schedule and edit social media posts. Look elsewhere if you are looking for data analytics or more collaborative tools.
Nice choice for influencers or great accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Reports, i love graphics! I like their customization of dashboard, very much better than in other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe is not very easy to use the first time, and the options are not clear when you want to customize it, but you will learn within a short time period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to monitoring our followers, see what they likes more and focus in that way. Hootsuite solves that, and the reports... I love them, you can make easy presentations with that quantity and quality of data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make reports weekly and compare yourself, it will be a great option for see your growth in graphics, it could be easier if you buy some kind of reports, sometimes fails the API, but you can try again and the most times it will be fixed.
Free Version is Useful in small level
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that Hootsuite showed you the schedule for each of the different social networks. It is also nice that you can schedule 30 in advance and can easily preview what they are going to look like before they are posted.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didnt like the fact that we only got 30 free ones, and once they were posted you got more. So it is possible to run the free thing the whole time but you have to keep up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am maximizing social media exposure while saving time and being able to prepare.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the features allowing your team to work on multiple projects at one time. Allowing them to edit, schedule, and update posts while collaborating as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drop down windows can sometimes get a little hectic and hard to read. I know it's there to monitor certain feeds but it can get messy if you have too many things being tracked,

We save time scheduling out social content. We can work closely as a team with visibility and communication that was lacking before we implemented the system.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature was the social calendar and allowing certain team members to schedule content, make changes as necessary, and plan out campaign while being very easy to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislikes were at a bare minimum, but I would say the amount of clicks when working through the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management. Social media scheduling took a lot of time away from our team when we had to constantly scheduling content the day of. With Hootsuite, we were able to save time by scheduling out posts for the week while being able to monitor all channels on one site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize Hootsuite university. It will help answer many questions on best practices as well as set a standard way of doing things within your team.

You can simply schedule engaging posts to send out to followers of your organization, hassle free.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if you could design the pictures/posts, etc, in Hootsuite, but it usually takes another app to create a cool infographic or graphic.

It saves time and work hours. Rather than going onto each social media platform individually to post, you can do them all at once.
