Social Media Saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite made it very easy to schedule content across periods of time. This allowed us to easily keep social media presence without constantly having to draft and post content! It also allowed us to have a comprehensive view of what our feed was going to look like in the upcoming months.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked that for awhile Instagram was not supported, however that has since been fixed, and I have no issues with the program. I will say that once the premium version was added, without the premium version, there was a limited number of posts that you could schedule at one time, which was a little limiting. However, it is manageable, and if it isn't, you can get the premium version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allowed us to stay consistent and plan out social media. We had no issues with it in terms of business problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend scheduling posts weekly, as it it easy to forget about posts drafted that are later irrelevant.
Lacks some functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
I was on the social media team of an organization where everyone else used Hootsuite, so I joined the same account. Hootsuite made life more convenient because it enabled me to preschedule posts. It was pretty user-friendly and could be learned quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite lacked posting functionalities to Instagram. If I schedule something in Hootsuite in a web browser for Facebook and Twitter, I can forget about it, because it truly will post for me. However, posts scheduled the same way in Instagram didn't show up. I had to download the Hootsuite app on my phone and do extra steps. With so many extras, it was almost easier to post in real time on Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives the impression of live-posting when it's not feasible. Prescheduling, when we know what content we want to post in advance, also frees up time for other things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try other products to see which one has the best scheduling capabilities. Works in a pinch.
Good but needs more features
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can send to both instagram and twitter. The bulk feature is good as well. It also is great because if you need to look at something while you're creating a post, you can without losing your information on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how I can't add one post on multiple days like other sites. That would be very convenient. Also if I want to just post on one social media, I hate how sometimes the highlight goes off and I repeatedly have to keep tapping on it to make sure it is highlighted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly social media management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allowing a single post to post various days within the month or future months
User friendly, focused on social interaction not analysis

Very intuitive, easy to adopt and even easier for long-term use
What do you dislike about the product?
Analysis is piecemeal, incomplete, clearly not the top priority
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
social media end-to-end program
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend accompanying HootSuite with a more advanced, focused analytics platform like Simply Measured or Crimson Hexagon. HootSuite's "advanced" analytics platform, which is the recently-acquired Impact, is still not enough for a social reporting. For example, ti doesn't report on Twitter impressions, potential reach or Twitter clicks!

I like that you can schedule multiple social posts at the same time to multiple platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it's glitchy and that it doesn't allow moving gifs to be posted.

User-Friendly, Fast Social Media Planning
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite allows me to link all of my social media accounts in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about this program!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to ensure that my social media posts are being shared across all of our platforms and none are being neglected. It's allowed me to post more frequently and grow our following.

What do you like best about the product?
I switched over from TweetDeck to Hootsuite years ago and it was an easy transition. Hootsuite is straightforward and easy to setup and intuitive to use. All the features are easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design and user interface feels a bit dated compared to other platforms now available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is great for a small business or busy professional that doesn't want to commit to a large monthly expense, but still wants a powerful tool to easily manage its social media presence. Hootsuite helps us stay on top of our accounts and keep an eye on what others are doing with minimal effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is definitely one of the leaders in social media management. It's a great place to start if you're not sure and gives you a good baseline for the benefits you can get out of this type of program.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage multiple social accounts at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Losing out on some of the native photo editing services when posting in Instagram and Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem with dual app authentications.
Hootsuite - Great for doing social right by planning your steps ahead
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can plan, schedule and upload a series of posts across different platforms. This is especially useful for preparing ahead for a busy event day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just be careful that you target the right platforms vs just going with a default

Planning. Scheduling. Getting our messaging right ahead of time.

Just using the scheduling and planning features are worth it if you are doing regular events.
Great Social Media Scheduler
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts to Instagram on Hootsuite. It's all very easy and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface isn't very attractive. Can't link directly in posts, need to add link in copy of caption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Juggling multiple social media platforms. Its benefits are that it's easy to use.
