Hootsuite is a Social Media Manager's Dream Come True!
What do you like best about the product?
All of the features are amazing and enable me to save so much time on everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that is missing that I wish it had was the ability to syndicate social posts to Google My Business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to schedule my social posts for all my clients and save time in the long run.

Great idea horrible interface
What do you like best about the product?
Timed Release for campaigns across different channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface. Instagram, need to publish again when sending.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping Social Media feed fresh for audience, more follower result.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Honestly we're i na bad situation when it come to Social Media management - not a lot of vendors and the ones that exist are either douchey, Hootsuite or way too expensive, Edward. Hootsuite if you really really need it free then yes otherwise spend the $$ elsewhere but find something that does Twitter, FB and Instagram - and maybe a few others.
Awesome easy way to manage multiple social media accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to manage all of mine and my clients' social media accounts in one place, being able to plan and schedule messages and prmotions in advance and see them all in a very clever calendar format
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version only allows 3 social media accounts, which a non business person may find fine, but a business person wanting to test out the software wouldn't
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has allowed me to plan, manage and monitor all of my social media marketing, freeing up my time for conversing with clients and potential clients and doing actual paid work.

Take the trial of the paid option - then you can see what you're missing out on
Makes scheduling ahead of time simple
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to schedule posts months ahead of time makes my life much easier. I have been able to focus on other aspects of social media management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is not optimized for social testing. Would be nice to do A/B tests to see which work better. I understand that there needs to be some sort of implementation of user information to split the users, but would be something unique and very useful to understand what's working and what needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've never been able to manage our social channels in a larger scale and Hootsuite has allowed us to make that feasible and simple.

What do you like best about the product?
If you are a community manager it is an excellent tool, it helps to program the post you have for twitter, facebook, youtube, pinterest, among others. It makes network management work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the free version so it only lets you register a number of accounts, and a negative point is that even at this point you can not make an instagram post, and that is one of the most used apps at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I use the free version, I mostly implement it to program all the post of the month and advance as much work as possible.

I love Hootsuite because it allows me to easily manage all of my corporate social channels.

Right now, I dislike the fact that I'm not able to tag profiles on Instagram or Facebook.

Perfect tool for exclusively marketing strategies
What do you like best about the product?
The feel of their site, the possibility to incorporate different social media handles into one account.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing, for young professionals it is a bit pricey, and pricing also limits useful features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating and engaging with different audience across social media channels. The benefit has been that it is all centralized and easy to find.
Ultimate social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Social media automation at its finest. This tool allows users to plan and schedule social media posts for future release. This extends to all of the major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Manage multiple accounts and several campaigns at once. Nice touch with tracking features such as review and voice tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is nice but can be very expensive. Small time freelancers can get by with the professional package which is roughly $20/per month but larger agencies will need to get the Business or enterprise packages which start at roughly $500 per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great customized reporting for clients and metrics that provide valuable insight for social media managers. Track follower engagement and increase the return on investment for your latest digital ad campaigns. This software solves the problem of how do we reach new and existing audiences better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly reccomend using Hootsuite whether you are a small time freelancer with only a few clients, or if you are a large scale digital ad agency with tons of clients and marketers. The ability to switch between accounts and manage multiple ad campaigns at once is a great feature that will boost productivity.
Hootsuite Makes Social Media Easy as One Click
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the ability to link various social media platforms - and combine them into one! Whenever I needed to post the same content across more than one social media application, I simply wrote and scheduled the post to whatever time and date I preferred - and click! I would later see this content as intended on not just one social media page, but all of them. Saved quite a bit of time and energy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Hootsuite disconnects the applications, forcing you to go back in and reconnect them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits I have realized is definitely time and efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to double check your content before posting. Some content doesn't fit all applications as well as you'd like.
Great way to minimize your work and maximize your reach
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are so many options for crossposting and for scheduling posts. Instead of having to go back to my computer at various times of day I can easily sit down for the chunk of time I have to work, set up everything I want to post (and where I want to post it to) over the next couple of days at once, and then not have to worry about it. I have Hootsuite post to my website, facebook page, instagram and twitter and can schedule posts for optimal times even when I'm not able to actually do the work at that time.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can get a little messy and posts don't always come out the way I want them to, but overall the pros far outweigh the cons and it is ultimately an extremely useful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use my time much better as I can get everything done at once and schedule tasks for the future, which allows me to have certain posts appear at peak times without actually having to be available to post at that time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to organize your tasks and schedule a chunk of time regularly (every other day? twice a week?) to sit down and schedule your posts and content so you can use the rest of your time to focus on other things.
