Makes My LIfe Easier
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool is very convenient. It allows me to pre-schedule content for multiple clients across several social media platforms. This helps to free up my own time during the day to focus on other business responsibilities. I like how Hootsuite has an optional Autoscheduler tool which ensures that the post I've crafted is delivered at the time of day when it will receive the most engagement. I also use Hootsuite for keyword monitoring, so that I can conveniently assess what customers and members of the public are saying online about the brands I work with. If there is a negative comment I can assess whether or not to jump in or flag it to the business owner. The analytics dashboard on Hootsuite is very easy to use and since metrics and ROI are of increasing importance, I can use the reports to track performance. There are different Hootsuite plan types for different needs which is super helpful when working with various clients. Overall the tool is easy to use, customizable and the Hootsuite team provides great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an image size maximum for scheduled Tweets.I often work in stock photos and have to resize manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased productivity, brand awareness, time management, optimization of social media content.
Good but needs work

I like that the scheduling feature is easy to use.

It can't do geo location. Not able to tag on Facebook and Instagram.

I can schedule posts in advance, which allows me to do other things at the time I want to post something.

Planning out content for the entire week, link previews, user friendly interface

Instagram scheduling and the push notifications, I wish you could also send a first comment (for hashtags) out with the post

What do you like best about the product?
This service is highly effective for helping to manage multiple social media platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the high cost that is associated with managing multiple platforms above a certain number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business previously had a problem with keeping a consistent presence on all social media platforms with neglecting one. This service has really helped.
Cool for team working and to manage several channels
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is fantastic to share and manage my Social Media Plan within my team. All of the tools focused on publishing are really powerful. After some years of experience and intense use of Hootsuite, I have to say that I expecially love scheduler that enables me and my team to always have quick but complete overview on ongoing posting activities.
Analytics dashboards are really great supporters of our daily work, as well: we manage to build up a strong reporting structure with all of the data provided.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has several tools (i.e.: Publisher, Analytics, Assignments, draft, planner, and so on...). It is not always easy to find them. UI may need some little improvements. The left side navigation bar is not always easy to use. Expecially if you are working on a mobile device, or you want to have a quick look through your smartphone, you absolutely need to download Hootsuite app to get all that you need in a comfortable way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I started using Hootsuite, I absolutely got much more control and better planning on my Social Media activities. I did not solve any particular business problem with Hootsuite, but I noticed that this really powerful tool helped me and my team in doing much more things in much less time, and have a deeper insights on our activities and on the goals we were reaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you manage 10 social media properties or less you'd probabily not fully appreciate Hootsuite potential.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
It’s fairly easy to use. Just add your social media accounts and post directly from the Hootsuite dashboard. It’s also a one stop shop for hashtag searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Works as its intended purpose. Sometimes looks overwhelming all at once.

Managing multiple social media accounts and tracking trending conversations.

Ease of use. For such a robust platform, it's intuitive and customizeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ow.ly link shortener. I get that it's good branding for them and easy to use for us, but I personally prefer for my posts to seem un-scheduled.
Also, sometimes the message/content editor gets stuck, and you have to click a few times to expand the box.

I primarily use it to schedule social media posts when I know I'm going to be out of town or unable to post.

Try it. We considered a number of similar products, and this was by far the best.
Not the best software out there

It's so quick and easy. Easy to post the same post on several accounts, and it's wonderful to be able to schedule posts in the future.

Wish I could delete posts straight from Hootsuite (at least from Google+)
