What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite primarily for Twitter, but to post Tweets to multiple accounts throughout the day. Hootsuite allows me to schedule Tweets for early in the morning before I get to work, and then once I get to work I can schedule the rest of my Tweets for the day in the morning. That way, I can focus on other things throughout the day. I like that you are able to create lists in Hootsuite so you can easily see users that you actively engage with or would like to engage with. You can easily attach media and shortlinks all within the compose window. Finally, you can respond to Tweets and view mentions and retweets in real time, which is something that is not offered by all social media programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the most basic version of Hootsuite that we use, you can only have one user on it at a time. If more log on, it results in being kicked out and occasionally being locked out of the site. I also find that the interface can be a bit overwhelming. Reports also cost quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to schedule our social media ahead of time, so that we can focus on other issues throughout the day and week. We can recognize and engage with our donors, and keep track of who is engaging with us!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some features of Hootsuite are a little unnecessary for a small team like the one I work in. I think the features would be awesome for a larger team.

Can't posting on wordpress and automatically scheduling a post after pubblished

It's great for organizing my publications, programming them in advance and take out the stress of constantly remember to upload your updates.

the interface could be more direct, without so many steps to edit.

Inmediate response to improve my network through social media. I can organize complete days of networking without stress.

I think it's worth trying and see how it helps you organizing yourself and make your time more productive.
Makes scheduling Instagram posts a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's ability to autoschedule posts according to your account's needs is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations of the free account can be frustrating (30 scheduled post limit). However, if you're just starting out, it can be an excellent option to really get a feel of how scheduling and reporting works. If you can work within those limitations of the free account, then it can be a great service, and far less expensive than competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts across multiple client channels, as well as scheduling Instagram posts when I know I'm going to be unable to post them manually.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great free, basic option if you are just starting out and your needs are basic and limited. The ease of scheduling Instagram posts alone makes it a worthy tool to have in your social media toolbox.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to schedule posts to my social media postings. Having a single place to schedule them is much easier and a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the easiest interface, but still easier to use than doing all of the social media sites one at a time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to schedule my social media posts all at one time and all in one place (with the exception of Pinterest). Frees up time to do others things.

Great if you want a one-stop solution to managing your social media posts!

What do you like best about the product?
A great way to view multiple channel streams (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) all at once. See who’s reaching out to your company all on one page, in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, posts made through Hootsuite don’t go through. I’ve found that some replies also haven’t gone through, and some recent posts didn’t appear til later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple active social media channels at once is made easier by having one resource to see it all vs individually checking every app.

Great free resource for social media management at a small organization.
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the ability to schedule tweets in advance, which is perfect for a small organization with a small staff and small budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feed options are not very straightforward or useful without a large degree of effort in personalizing.

Allows us to advertise events over time even when social media managers are not in the office.
Great way to organize social media
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to track multiple social media sites at one time. Hootsuite is great for scheduling posts on multiple sites, and it is really easy to create and organize multiple streams to keep up to date on other accounts I am following
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately I have been having trouble with my scheduled posts not being posted to Twitter - however I believe that is due to new privacy/security settings within Twitter, not Hootsuite itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple social media accounts. Great for publishing posts across platforms and scheduling posts in advance!

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, multiple platform integration, simplified dashboard, mobile access
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be somewhat expensive for some plans--depending on what time of audience you are trying to reach, the app itself may not payback
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
growth, organization, peace of mind---glad to know that I can go about my other tasks without having to focus on posts. I save time with my scheduled postings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to try other platforms similar to Hootsuite. I still find Hootsuite is the easiest to use and integrates well with photo editing apps and other platforms better than others.
