#1 leader in social media post management software
What do you like best about the product?
What I love the most about this software is how it allows me to see everything happening on our social media accounts in one spot. Having a centralized hub that allows me to make changes and post on multiple social media accounts is a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the UI/UX on the software is. It could be improved a lot. It hasn't been updated in years or so. I do understand they have huge corporate clients, but when comparing them to Buffer, Hootsuite really needs to up their design game.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're saving a lot of time posting on all our accounts on one platform versus multiple platforms.

Works exactly how you'd want it to. Does the job and makes your life a whole lot easier.

Get past the learning curve (2-4 hours) and you'll love it.

What do you like best about the product?
The "stream views" which can be modified to your preferences are very useful. The ability to look over multiple FB page streams in one quick view allows for easy editing if a mistake is discovered, and it covers multiple FB pages.
The posting process is also very simple in regards to selecting what avenues you would like to make the post available on.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not as useful for social monitoring purposes, we use another company for monitoring of customer interactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of posting, ease of post correction, cost is sustainable for usage with team members, etc.

Valuable, low cost social media posting management software.

Integration with the most popular social platforms; ease of use; batching content; multiple views. And the new (spring 2018) batch uploaded and composer.

This is actually tough. The user interface could be more intuitive. And in the beta composer, the Media Library won’t actually access my Google Drive files.

Hootsuite can be a little complicated to figure out. It's a great concept, but not particularly user-friendly for beginners.

It helped me manage my social media accounts across many platforms in one convenient place. I also loved the ability to schedule posts.

Hootsuite is great for someone who needs to manage multiple social media accounts and platforms. It's not the easiest software to use, but once you get the basics figured out, it's pretty easy to go from there.
Great for Scheduling, Less for Cross-Platform Editing
What do you like best about the product?
Greatly adds convenience scheduling coordinating cross-platform social media posts, and adding associated media.
What do you dislike about the product?
After multiple-platform posts have been scheduled, there are occasionally quirks in saving edits to all scheduled posts. Additionally, some features like platform-specific tagging seem great, but don't work quite as smoothly.

Planning and organization, spreading workload into more manageable sections.
Makes Social Media Scheduling Less Hectic
What do you like best about the product?
I like that, even on the free version, you can add three social media accounts and schedule up to 30 posts at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the alerts for Instagram posts don't show up on my phone when they are supposed to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hootsuite, I'm saving time and energy by scheduling my social media posts ahead of time and can see the results in the streams on Hootsuite.

Give their free version a try if you are unsure of whether you want to commit to a subscription.

Well-designed interface, iOS mobile app, integration with Reputology (review tracking), link shortening and tracking

Does not support video posting for Instagram, posting process for Instagram videos is buggy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company manages 11 different hotel locations - each with their own Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. Hootsuite allows our team to monitor, respond and post in one central location. We can review posts prior to publishing and the analytics are a great addition. The mobile app is really convenient and allows you to do almost all the things you can accomplish from the desktop version.
