What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite provides almost endless opportunitues for managing your social media efforts. With Hootsuite it's easier to schedule posts for multiple social media accounts. The service also provides valuable analytics insights that can help you improve your social media strategy. I personally love the Mentions feature which let you know if someone on the chosen social media platform talks about you, your brand or your competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Hootsuite doesn't want to work with Pinterest as well as with VK.com, the main Russian social network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency, we have to manage tons of social media accounts on different pltforms. It takes a lot of time and energy. Hootsuite makes it simpler and faster. What is also important is the fact Hootsuite doesn't block the most important features even if you work with the platform using a free plan.

The biggest problem has been posting issues, but I really like how I can plan an entire week's worth of social media postings and then forget about it until it's time to review.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is the ability to schedule Tweets. I've never found a better solution, and to date, Twitter itself does not offer this feature. There is nothing more efficient that scheduling Tweets for the week or month ahead. You can always stop a Tweet, if you have a fresh one for a certain time. Or you can reschedule. This feature saved me when I had to admin multiple Twitter accounts for different clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the interface was a little more visual. All on one screen, utilizing color to POP my week ahead scheduled items. Also show every account across a top menu clearly on one screen. I guess I felt the app was not as responsive, or scalable as most. More like using Excel or something, I'd have to scroll to hidden accounts across top menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving tons of time by scheduling social items and having snapshot of social media strategy implementation all in one place. MUST HAVE for social media admins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you admin more than one social media account, if you want to schedule posts and walk away free as a bird for the day, week, or month ahead. This is your app!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to see all the scheduled posts at once and get an idea of what the social content looks like for the month (or week). It's also very handy so you don't have to be so hands on at all hours of the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it only gives you 30 scheduled posts on the free plan. It might be good for mid-level posters and once something goes live you gain back a scheduled post, but it's obviously meant to limit your usability so you have to upgrade the plan. I also don't like that the dashboard is sort of messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wear many hats in my company and I can dedicate a few hours every week to social media posting instead of remembering several times day to post something to all my accounts. I realized that I can focus on other projects better without interruption when I plan ahead all my content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Of all the social media software out there (in terms of post automation), Hootsuite's Free plan is superior in my experience. If you're a larger organization you probably need the upgraded plan, which I cannot speak too, but for my agency's needs, Hootsuite gets the job done.

Hootsuite is great because it allows you to schedule posts and see all of your social media accounts on one easy to read screen!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you cannot schedule Instagram posts on Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to schedule social media posts all at once so I don't have to worry about remembering to schedule them on my own time. It also allows me to see all social media accounts on one screen instead of having to switch between them and log into each account separately.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to shorten links, add photos, and see the preview easily when scheduling posts
What do you dislike about the product?
The site itself gets "busy" with multiple accounts on display. It can be hard to parse out all the information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes down to it, many businesses need to allot time to social media marketing that is nearly nonexistent in the schedule and the budget. This is an easy solution for folks to still be active but efficient with time spent promoting on the sites.

Depending on how large your organization is, it would be smart to pay for this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to both manage multiple accounts and to schedule tweets for advance posting without having to think about it. I can easily see what I am doing and what I have posted already, so that I do not risk repeating myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot upload videos with tweets through it, so for those media tweets you do need to use native twitter. Photos work fine, however, so not sure why videos don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule tweets for later in the day when I wouldn't otherwise be able to post on my computer, I also am able to quickly and easily see whaat I have written in the past to avoid duplicates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely do it! It is a lifechanging tool and takes away a lot of the hassle of posting on social media for others.

I do wish that I did not have to have the app to post to Instagram.
