Awesome tool for scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I have used HootSuite for postponed posting feature. I used it for Instagram accounts and it was super easy and almost never glitches. I also read their blog to expand my knowledge in Social media and keep up with the industry
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced a few glithes on the way but that's all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use postponed posting feature so all my Instagram posts are up to date and air automatically every day at the same time

Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite isn't a fancy platform in terms of look and feel - but if you are scheduling posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (and even Pinterest with an add-on from Tailwind) it's all possible via the same platform. If you're a freelancer or agency, you can run multiple brands and accounts all from the same log-in and viewing screen.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very user-friendly - and the interface isn't much to look at. I always get the feeling there are more metrics and options available, but they're not easy to locate. The reporting feature is bulky. The mobile option is ok, but it's most valuable when used on a desktop computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a team, multiple users can review, edit and approve posts for one brand of multiple brands. It solves the biggest issue: time management. Now I can spend less time scheduling posts for multiple platforms and instead view it all in one place. I LOVE the Hootlet feature available in Chrome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that you can schedule Instagram posts, Hootsuite has become even more valuable to social media managers and employees that work on brand engagement. There are lots of options if you work with a large team for creating content. Download the Hootlet feature in Chrome for easy sharing of appropriate web articles.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and adding new streams to the dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
When posting to Facebook/Twitter and adding a photo it sometimes adds the photo as a link instead of as an image
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with managing time and making sure social media posts are consistent.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take advantage of using the multiple streams available to you. It makes responding to Facebook inquiries and tracking your engagement so much easier than trying to track all of these things through each social media application.
Excellent tool for social media management and education
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of having all my social media platforms in one place and that I can see all the activity from one location. I also like the educational resources. The Hootsuite Academy is worth the extra cost. I learned things that I wouldn't have just found out from working in the industry. The webinars are very valuable too. They have been timely and relevant. I've even gained a certification from their academy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to delete and edit posts easier. Sometimes if something has been posted incorrectly, especially Twitter, I need to be able to delete the posts quickly but I have to go log in to each platform to do this because I don't seem to be able to on Hootsuite. Some you can do this with, and some you can't. I also don't like being limited on twitter posts but I think that's not a Hootsuite thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time to be able to post to several outlets at once. I can also schedule posts so that I don't have to keep coming back at different times to post, it does all that work for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple platforms you need to post on, this is an excellent tool. Also, if you don't have much experience as a social media manager, there are tons of educational materials. The Hootsuite Academy is worth the extra cost!
hootsuite for business
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for beginners, but gets the job done for social media managers no matter your level of expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very basic template. not a lot of room for creativity. Frequently freezes up or has a few technical issues here and there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes the job of managing various social media accounts run more smoothly from one platform.

You don't need a ton of experience to use this product! It's very basic, but it's user friendly and get it gets the job done.

What do you like best about the product?
Combining all of our social media accounts to one software has been a lifesaver. I love being able to see all activity in one place. Planning social media posts has never been easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to automatically post to Instagram. It sends your device a notification, but you still have to open Instagram to be able to post the picture. Not a huge hassle, but it would be nice not to have to think about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our social media activity is viewed through this software. We schedule posts and respond to customers here.

This is a great software to use to keep all of your business social media accounts together and posting the same things. I love being able to see all the customer interactions in one place. Try the free trial!
Great for scheduling posts
What do you like best about the product?
I think the post scheduling functionality is its strong suit, you can use it across multiple platforms (facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc.) and it makes social media manager's jobs much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
They try to nickel and dime you for everything, and if you're going to do analytics on your social media I recommend using another platform.

Great Tool for Social Management
What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite is straightforward, and allows me a broad overview of social media happenings in my company's space. I can track conversations in real time, and the tool allows me to schedule posts, engage in conversation, and track analytics overtime in a more interesting and convenient way than the native social media platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
To me, the UI is a bit dated and clunky, and could use some cleaning up. If you are managing more than a handful of accounts, I could imagine it becoming overwhelming and difficult to navigate. I know they are testing Beta versions of new features, like scheduler, but I'm looking forward to further updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using the mass scheduler function, we are able to keep our accounts updated and consistent, with more opportunities to engage our audience and increase follower growth.

What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite allows me to do more in managing social media. As a social media manager, it helps me saves time and effort in managing social media profiles. It will also help you save time finding and automating content to publish. And if you do not have any content to post, the tool makes suitable recommendations that you can read to make relevant posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I totally love this app. It's very manageable and I like everything about it.

Hootsuite allows us to listen to our customers. I use it to track particular hashtags, tweets or keywords so I can get to the bottom of every story that I'm lookin' at.

It's very easy to use and doesn't need to be downloaded or installed. You can directly access it on your browser!
