I really loved Hootsuite!

What do you like best about the product?
It has the functionality that's all the hoot! But seriously, you can connect to a number of platforms easily and it saved a ridiculous amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really been able to compare it evenly to a site that also sends info out, but I think sometimes hashtags don't register or the site may have experienced an error and deleted a nicely written tweet once or twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked in a marketing department, for over a year and used this product weekly. It really cut down the time for posting or remembering the best times. It keeps a nice history and updates you with metrics afterwards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the trial with multiple times and sites-then see how it does. I enjoyed it for sure and it only takes maybe two tries.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can control all of my social networks from one platform and in turn save time for other important tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until recently, Hootsuite didn't have Instagram integration so I will be testing that out. Sometimes when things are scheduled and posts, pictures or links can be lost. That can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating robust social media campaigns that align and flow perfectly between platforms. The ability to see everything in one place makes consistency easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The learning curve for hootsuite is fairly easy. When you first start using the product, just make sure that your scheduled posts are posting correctly. No one likes mistakes that go unnoticed for 24 hours,

Multiple accounts on one dashboard

What do you like best about the product?
It allows for users to add up to five social media accounts at a time and it displays them all on one interface. It also has the capability to shorten links and schedule sending of messages at a later time. The platform is fairly easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation-wise, if you don't have a large enough screen, you wouldn't see all yoir accounts in one glance. Using the scroll bar repeatedly gets tiring after a while if you're actively navigating through your several accounts. Unlike another program out there, this one limits you to adding only five accounts at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was our go-to application to manage several accounts at a time.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling make posts much easier. It also lets you get ahead of you content schedule quite easily!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any massive negative feedback. I find it the best in it's class.

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing all of my accounts at one time has been a very helpful feature. It saves me time because I don't have to log in to each account individually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve. I feel like the program needs to be more intuitive.

You can't post directly onto instagram, it send you an email then you have to manually post it

Great For Planning & Easy To Use

What do you like best about the product?
They let you schedule several posts at a time, which makes it very easy to plan out the whole week. It gives you a link preview and lets you customize different messages depending upon the social platform. Very easy to use and the basic features are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there's anything I dislike, although we don't use all of the features offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes social media planning very easy and saves time by posting to multiple platforms at once.

It's a great platform that offers a variety of tools for social media marketing. They also provide a lot of free webinars and learning sessions to help you in the field.

The free service is pretty limited, with a small number of platforms and posts available.

Creating and scheduling social media campaigns and social media marketing is much simpler when able to plan and put everything on the calendar with Hootsuite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a great entry-level tool for social media management. While its free functionality is limited, it is a decent platform for the price levels offered.

Efficent Help in the Free Version

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite offers an easy way to coordinate social media posts across multiple platforms. It's incredibly intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
With the free version, you're limited to the number of posts you can queue. With two streams, FB and Twitter only, that's cut in half. I have to go back more often to revive my feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I share relevant news articles withour followers and events from an academic department. It's not my primary role, so I'm able to dedicate a small amount of time and let it run itself. If I do need to share something immediately, I only need to create one post. It's definitely increased my efficiency, and cut down the time I've had to spend on this service assignment.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration with most social media platforms. Hootsuite has made great strides to make working with social media platforms well. Scheduling, auto-scheduling, it is all great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instagram needs to integrate better. There are other platforms who will post on Instagram for you versus Hootsuite sending a notification to copy, paste, and post. Pinterest could also use some improvements as you cannot currently connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a great platform when you're managing multiple companies and multiple social media platforms. It has saved time and effort from posting content and analyzing the success.

This is a great tool for those just starting social media for their company.
