Hoot suite is for the social media savvy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to post from several accounts at once

I don’t like that I can’t see analytics for when the best time to post media is.

What do you like best about the product?
It's super awesome being able to add different streams like scheduled and posted content, not to mention it's AWESOME being able to see who interacts with your account with the Mentions stream. It's very very easy to use which is very helpful. It's great having the app direct you right to Instagram with the picture and text copied, which makes it quick and easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
To pull reports for clients requires you to pay (depending on your plan). While it's great to have analytics, to pay for them is a bit of a pain. With the new update to Facebook and being unable to manipulate metadata Hootsuite was a great way to by-pass that, but not it doesn't let you do that either which is annoying and will post a linked article with a small fuzzy picture or nothing at all. It's also very expensive to add another team memeber to the account which makes some people try to couple up on one account with A TON of streams all over the place. I am not a fan of when going to create a post in Hootsuite and the tab just minimizes at times while I'm in the middle of loading a picture or something. It also tends to disconnect accounts A LOT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very helpful when managing a ton of clients and trying to stay organized. Again it's a great way to stay organized and have all your accounts at your finger tips. It's very easy to schedule when you're on the go or post to Instagram with the app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's good if you're handling a ton of clients. Be patient as it does take time to load depending on how many streams your have open.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Useful for maintaining an active online presence across Social Media from one platform more efficiently, and able to track results. Benefit has been improvements in our content creation and targeting clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts weeks in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that even though I schedule through for Instagram, I still have to manually post on the platform. The notification sometimes doesn’t pop up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If we are doing a marketing campaign, I can strategize the ads we place. I get to schedule and forget about them.

It is very useful if you are constantly promoting using social media.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up personalized social streams all in one place. We can watch different areas of our industry, customers, and competitors all from one spot. The interface is easy to use and navigate, and it has a nice and clean analytics section to see top-level results from what we're doing on social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the bulk composer tools are still rather glitchy. They're in beta right now so I expect them to get better, but more than once I've had to start over my social media scheduling because of an issue with the bulk tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is ramping up our paid social media ads, so it makes sense to have more of a presence on social media overall. Hootsuite makes it easy to schedule a lot of posts across all our accounts all from one place, instead of having to log in to individual accounts and make posts by hand.
It's especially helpful to have direct messages built into Hootsuite. Since we don't have time to log into company social accounts regularly, sometimes prospects would message us and we wouldn't get back to them until the next time we logged in. Hootsuites makes it easy to check for messages across all our accounts without juggling browser windows.

It's got it's uses
What do you like best about the product?
I can add a picture to a link people can click on instead of an ugly indeed logo.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not an advanced tool. It fails to post and I have to start over and drop down boxes disappear the you move your mouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can post to other people's LinkedIn accounts (with their permission, of course) without having to continually log into their actual accounts.

Free tool to use with basic access to data. Premium membership gives access to a lot of useful and valuable information such as sentiment and is very much the leader in terms of value for money.

Hootsuite—an Invaluable Social Media tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling features AND the Beta version! I've tested it out a few times and I love, love, LOVE the post preview that it offers! Hooray!

What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed that Facebook is deprioritizing my posts scheduled from Hootsuite. I also ran into problems a while back when scheduling videos to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done several webinar tutorials when I first got started and the scheduling is invaluable as well as the cross-platform analytics. Well done! We've seen a growth in our traffic as well as team cooperation—we can all see what's happening on our platforms at any given time, which saves on emails, communications and cuts down on confusion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We loved this so much that we campaigned our management team to subscribe to a yearly subscription, and no one has regretted this. You get your money's worth! We're loving the Beta and hope it rolls out soon. If you manage multiple accounts across several platforms, this is a MUST. HAVE.
Set it and forget it!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't have to remember to log into my social media accounts every single day! It's like a set-it-and-forget-it for marketers! Making content for social has become easier with this tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the links break or the previews don't work 100% of the time. I think this is more from sharing content and not Hootsuite's fault. My biggest issue is no integration with Instagram. But again, this is a problem because of Instagram.
