Easy social media management software

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to schedule posts and have one place where I can manage all my posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a small business I feel like there should be another plan option for maybe 5-10 accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management. We are able to schedule everything, and have it in one place organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great software to manage posting across multiple platforms, feeds and insights. You do have to play to receive some of the features, but the free version does allow you to do quite a bit.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is very user-friendly We got our team using the system within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have dislikes - the only small nuance is that you have to do 2 steps to post on Instagram (confirm post).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We centralize our social media among several administrators.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see all my company social media profiles in one place. It's easy to write a message, upload a photo, and share to multiple hours. This platform must save marketers multiple hours per week!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some social profiles don't integrate well into hootsuite. For example, it's been difficult to post to instagram, and youtube, so you still have to log into those profiles individually. I probably wouldn't use HootSuite if my company used instagram or youtube heavily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves SO. MUCH. TIME. Everything you need in one place, so it's easy to manage social media profiles efficiently.

I love that you can schedule out posts in advance and keep track of what people are saying about your company

I don't like the integration with instagram but that isn't a hootsuite issue

What do you like best about the product?
I love the app, especially when scheduling to Instagram. It sends an alert when it's time to post and automatically copies/pastes the image and text. They recently added a feature where you can do this for Instagram Stories, as well.

The scheduling and bulk scheduling options on desktop are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have an Enterprise account. There's no way to do a meaningful listening report - they try to upsell you to Talkwalker for this at enormous expense.

The analytics are poor and often have gaps or don't match up with Facebook Insights. Our rep never has a meaningful explanation for these discrepancies.

You can't post multiple images in one Facebook post unless you are creating an album or adding to an existent one.

On Facebook posts with a lot of comments, Hootsuite often gets glitchy when I'm responding to multiple comments in a row and I'm forced to refresh the page and find where I left off.

Occasionally glitchy/slow to load.

No way to do a comparison report against competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling, managing and reporting for social media. Has made scheduling easier - set it and forget it. And I can manage/monitor multiple accounts with one login instead of logging in and out of Twitter/Instagram.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to post to multiple platforms and schedule posts ahead of time. This saves our company a lot of time while also giving us the ability to be creative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to post to instagram is a huge challenge for us. We want to be able to post to all platforms at once, but without an API to Instagram, I understand this is a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to post ahead of time is very time saving and makes sure your efforts are not forgotten. I’m much better at scheduling the posts than I am remembering it to do it in the moment. I feel that Hootsuite is good, but still needs some work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just a reminder that you cannot post seamlessly to Instagram, like you can the other platforms. Our company has found this to be a big problem, because we have to post to Instagram separately, which we don't like. The interface can also be hard to inderstand to I highly recommend taking advantage of all the trials they have.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an extremely helpful tool that allows me to manage our multitude of social media accounts in one place. Scheduling of posts is the most essential tool. Analytics are mostly helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics changed recently and they now don't offer the same things as before - like top posts. You can switch back and forth between versions to get this info, which is cumbersome, but if they ever shut off the old version I will be very upset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and monitoring and analyzing our social media efforts with a low cost tool is our priority as a nonprofit.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is great for social media newbies because it is very user-friendly. My favorite feature is the ability to create streams. Social media content can be overwhelming but streams allow you to customize the social media content you want to see. My favorites are streams from hashtags, social media profiles, keywords, and lists. Also valuable are creating streams from mentions, scheduled posts, and new followers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite's upgrade version is not as user-friendly. Hootsuite's upgrade version does not have some features I really enjoy from another provider. I have tried the upgraded version several times over the years but I never stay beyond 3 months. Additionally, my clients complain that Hootsuite frequently fails to publish their scheduled posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I usually recommend Hootsuite to clients who are new to the social media world because Hootsuite is very user-friendly. Entrepreneurs need a solid online presence but social media can be a huge time sucker, so helping my clients develop a consistent visibility plan while remaining productive with other business tasks proves valuable for me and for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a great tool for learning the nuances of the social media world; however, once you become proficient, you may need more than what the free version of Hootsuite offers. I recommend you add as many social profiles as you can. I recommend you create streams that fit your social media engagement needs. I also highly recommend you schedule posts.

Scheduling, monitoring and organizing social media

What do you like best about the product?
I am a long time Hootsuite user. I use Hootsuite to monitor social networks (mostly Twitter and Facebook), create lists, organize followers, and to schedule posts at specific times.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to set a schedule and have Hootsuite automatically schedule posts. Scrolling through scheduled posts to find a date and time can be very time consuming. Also wish they had the ability to schedule recurring posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to monitor social networks - mentions, retweets, opportunities to engage. Hootsuite is create for organizing followers into segments and lists.

Great for monitoring and organizing multiple social networks.
