Streamlines Scheduling, Needs UI Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite for posting and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. It makes it so I don't have to use multiple apps to post the same or similar content. Scheduling posts and posting are big parts of my job, and Hootsuite makes it so I can do my job without having to open Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn separately. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for creating posts for multiple platforms could use improvement. Tagging is often a pain, especially with IG and FB being Meta platforms. It should try to find the appropriate account on other platforms and show uncertainty. It's also frustrating when adding media like images; if there's a problem with one image on one platform, removing the images from the original setup should work for all three platforms. Instead, I have to make changes to each platform individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to schedule and post on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook without using multiple apps, streamlining my workflow. Our comms team is one person, so any improvement to efficiency has a big impact.

What do you like best about the product?
multiplatform scheduling. The Streams view shows live feeds for mentions, hashtags, keywords, comments, and competitor activity in customizable columns
What do you dislike about the product?
the interface can be a bit outdated and clunkier than other platforms. While it supports many networks, some platform‑specific features (especially TikTok and newer formats) are more limited compared to native apps or specialized tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped my team with easier to use regarding the calendar view. it is also less expensive than other platforms and has more robust analytics, making it a better choice
Simple to Use, But Pricey for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of using Hootsuite; it's very simple to use. I also value the scheduling feature a lot because it helps us organize everything. Hootsuite keeps everything organized so we can plan ahead and have all of our graphics and social media copy ready to go. The initial setup was very easy for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not crazy about the price of Hootsuite. A lot of my colleagues are startups, and so the price is a bit of a barrier.

Hootsuite allows us to keep everything organized so we can plan ahead, with all of our graphics and social media copy ready to go.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Hootsuite's analytics tool. It helps us get data on links and engagement and provides a base engagement rate, which I find really helpful because otherwise, I would have to calculate the averages across the three different platforms manually. I appreciate how Hootsuite serves as a catchall for our social media, allowing us to integrate, specialize, and tweak each post for multiple platforms with ease. It's efficient to use for Facebook and LinkedIn posts, and I can edit them for Instagram effortlessly. The partially AI-generated insights and analytics are a strong, reliable baseline, and I enjoy combining these insights with human thought for strategic planning. Regular updates and AI features have helped us move from manual tasks to a more automated system, making daily operations easier. It's exciting to witness the growth from zero to triple digits on our social platforms. Additionally, Hootsuite is light on the computer, easy to use, and really insightful and efficient for our team of eight.
What do you dislike about the product?
When making edits to a post draft, if I make one edit, it can reset platform-specific edits to the main draft. I wish I could individualize edits or track changes. That would make it easier as I often have to send posts externally to my team for feedback. There's room for improvement in terms of edits, track changes, and starting over. Saving drafts in a more cloud collaborative platform would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to integrate and customize social media posts across multiple platforms, which streamlined our process. It provides insightful analytics that save me from manually calculating engagement metrics, helping grow our presence from zero to engagement rates in the teens.
Efficient Social Media Scheduling with Strong Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I find Hootsuite easy and user-friendly, especially for pulling analytics reports. It's great for internal use and allows me to download analytics as PDFs to share directly with clients. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up accounts and link them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the features when it comes to posting on Instagram are lacking, but I don't think that's a Hootsuite issue - it's something that different social media scheduling platforms also deal with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to easily schedule posts across many platforms and access analytics reports for both internal and client use. It's user-friendly for pulling reports, downloading them as PDFs, and sharing directly with clients.
Streamlined Social Media Management, But Disappointing Support
What do you like best about the product?
The unified inbox is extremely helpful. Because our company has quite a few social media accounts, the Hootsuite Unified Inbox makes responding and tracking messages easier. I also love the Owly GPT inside the creation portion; it's a huge help when I'm writing captions. I also find the Canva integration helpful. Hootsuite is extremely easy to set up, very user-friendly, and the Hootsuite Academy was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be candid, I would say live chat support isn't great at all. I was personally surprised with the lack of live chat support. Sometimes we don't get an agent at all, or Hootsuite says we're not logged in or that we're not eligible for live chat support. More than three or four times now, I haven't been able to get live chat support because an agent wasn't available during Hootsuite work times. I did ask Adriana from live chat support how many agents are on at a time, and she said just one, which I was very surprised to learn.

I like the unified inbox because it helps manage our numerous social media accounts' messages. Owly GPT assists with writing captions, and the Canva integration eases Instagram Story planning. Hootsuite is user-friendly, and the Hootsuite Academy aids in setup.
Efficient Social Media Management, Needs Tagging Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to create and manage social media posts for a scientific company. The platform allows for amazing workflows with multiple social media accounts. It's a major time saver as I don't have to recreate content for each unique social media platform. I like the ability to easily select the exact accounts I want to post on, as it often changes. Scheduling content ahead of time is key. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tagging people can be a struggle. The platform often glitches in this aspect. LinkedIn is the most reliable, but even then, it hardly works. I often have to go into the social media post and fix it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to create and manage social media posts, solving the hassle of recreating content for each platform, which saves me time. It also allows me to select specific accounts to post on and schedule content ahead of time easily.
Easy to Navigate and Performs Well for Our Current Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to navigate without a lot of training. With my experience so far, it has performed well and conformed to our current needs. I haven't needed a lot of onboarding support throughout the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is missing some features with which I became familiar in a competitive product. I would like to be able to post the first comment when I schedule a post, as LinkedIn has gone to an algorithm that depresses posts with a link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is the solution my company has chosen. At the local level, we’ve been using HubSpot for years, while our global operations have been using Hootsuite. This setup gives us the opportunity to integrate across our many locations and learn from resources and best practices already in use elsewhere in the company.
Effortless Post Scheduling and Seamless Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Hootsuite because it allows me to schedule all my posts in one place, which is really convenient for handling multiple social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn for our college. The ability to plan posts for specific dates and times makes it very versatile. It also makes my work easier as I can upload the same media across different platforms simultaneously, saving me the trouble of repeatedly uploading images. I appreciate being able to upload everything at once, and I find it very helpful that I can put different captions for each platform. This feature really makes my job much easier. Overall, it's been a very easy experience, and I didn't encounter any trouble in setting it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
One time, I faced a situation where I was uploading the same media for all platforms, and while doing that, I had to put different captions for each platform. At some point, there was some error or something; maybe because I was using all platforms at once, it crashed or something. I had a bit of trouble tagging a person or organization, but it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn all in one place. It makes my life easier by allowing me to upload media and set different captions for each platform simultaneously.
Powerful Multi-Account Management for Multiple Locations
What do you like best about the product?
I can manage multiple accounts in one place. We have teaching sites in several locations and no staff for social media. Hootsuite gives me that power to act on their behalf.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is not outrageous, but it does cost me a small car payment each month to maintain. There are other options out there for less, but I have to consider what I would be missing if I switched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts for holidays and busy weeks is easy with Hootsuite. This frees up time to respond to the reactions my followers have to our posts. It also helps with approval before we go live, that is especially helpful with new interns to make sure they understand our brand.
