Gets the job done for scheduled social posting
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, nice calendar layout to display upcoming and past scheduled posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a cheaper or free version for very basic posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps to make social posting for clients more efficient and streamlined. Batch tasking and scheduling posts is a big time-saver as I can schedule an entire month's posts at once.

What do you like best about the product?
New I love: the Publisher/planner. so easy to see what's done and what's next. I love that it posts to your PAGES, not your personal FB feed. I love that for FREE you can post to several sites at once. You can have the same post go to all or create different posts for different platforms. Helpful tips tell you when you are over character count, or the graphic file is too large, or what the best time to post is. It's simple and yet powerful. You can upload from Google drive, which makes it easy to work from home, or offsite. Loading a video to Instagram is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The popup composer disappears disconcertingly -- you think you've lost your work until you click it again. I wish it would popup and stay.

Getting videos from National posted; keeping the feeds fresh and updated.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts! I think it makes it great to set posts at the beginning of the week for my business .It makes managing multiple accounts seamless and allows you to make use of most features that each social media has to offer. The built-in link shortener is a lifesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a lot I dislike about Hootsuite. It is very easy to use overall and is pretty self-explanatory, which is good. If a scheduled tweet fails, it's not clear why and I cant see a way to find out why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Try it out for free and use as many features as possible. Hootsuite is fine if all you want is a scheduler..

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of using Hootsuite was the easy of logging all of my companies personal and social posts. I havve used other applications like this in the past, but this one's overall ease of use stood out from the rest of the pack. As time went on, it became easier and easier and basically instinctual to use. I would recommend to others because this is a solid program.
What do you dislike about the product?
This was one of the first applications of its kind that I used and the first time user impression was that it wasn't as user friendly as I'd like, just at first. Scheduling my first social posts as a first timer instantly became difficult because there was not an opportunity for me to go through any type of tutorial. The beginning stages was really just me guessing how to schedule things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main use for the program was that it made all of my social media scheduling so much easier than just doing it directly on any of the social media sites. Its usability and ease of teaching other coworkers the program was easy as well. Overall benefits is that it does wha it says and you really can't ask for much more than that. We opted to use the basic package version of the program and I think for what we were going for, it really worked the best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the original ease of use and tutorial a little bit easier to understand.
Easy Enough to Use, Could Use a Dark Theme, Though
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy enough to use. My task is mainly to insert links to our stories and those from other content producers, include the headlines, add hashtags, then publish. If my employers shelled out for more features, though, I'd be able to schedule those tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no dark mode for Hootsuite (at least, none that I know of). I prefer dark themes for apps and webpages I use, like those found in Twitter and YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My employers use Hootsuite to keep track of the accounts they follow, while letting our readership know what's going on day-to-day. Not sure what benefits I've personally scene thus far, though being able to interact with our followers in real time is a plus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure Hootsuite fits your needs. A lot of companies might be using this for their social media management, but it may not be the right management tool for you and your company.
And if Hootsuite is exactly what you need, then please, please be sure to pay for the plan that suits your needs best. That way, you and your company can get the most out of this tool when implementing your social media management and content strategies for the near and long-term.

Nothing. The product is great and I continue to endorse it.

Great way to manage social media
What do you like best about the product?
Posting is incredibly user-friendly, especially if you're posting the same thing to multiple pages. The built-in link shrinker is a nice added feature. The entire dashboard is easy to navigate. I loved being able to schedule posts in advance. The Chrome plugin was also incredibly useful when we wanted to share industry news quickly. Seeing all the mentions in one place helps us reach out and connect with our audience easily - I can see that being used in any size company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing that I really disliked about Hootsuite - the only reason we paused using it is that we are in the process of restructuring our social media and branding. We never had any issues with posts not going out at the scheduled time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allowed us to manage all our accounts from one dashboard - this saved us an incredible amount of time. In a small company without a dedicated social media manager, this is key. It was also very useful when we needed to schedule posts on holidays or busy weeks, so we kept our social media presence without using up any work hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a small company only interested in managing accounts, and as long as you don't need to schedule more than 30 posts in advance, the free version works just fine to start. If you need more advanced analytics and reporting you will have to purchase one of there plans.

It's a fast way to track who is mentioning your business on social media, allowing you to react and respond faster
Very useful tool for social media managers
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to queue up many social posts across multiple social platforms at once, which is especially helpful if you're managing Twitter and LinkedIn profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on how many platforms/profiles you're managing, there may be more cost-effective options out there. Also, if another Hootsuite account is connected to a Twitter profile, it can be a pain to get it transferred over to the new Hootsuite account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm in a role where I manage the social media presences of multiple businesses, so Hootsuite makes it much easier for me to knock out planned messages for weeks at a time as well as monitor engagement holistically across platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are limits on the amount of profiles you can have with the free version, so prioritize Twitter and LinkedIn if you're trying to connect a lot of profiles.

What do you like best about the product?
I’m a Hootsuite Business User who manages social media for a business with now 8 locations. I enjoy the ease of being able to built different views to practice “social listening” through branded hashtags, geotagging and out various accounts. The analytics are also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use ALOT of updating. Just a fresh modern little look, maybe that’s the designer in me talking but we could use some sort of visual setting we can change. I always like a stand-alone app for desktop if possible and b yet draft saving options (autosave?) Also less paid and more free options for intergrations would be great,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue of monitoring geotagged or keyword/branded post by our audience was very important to figuring out our social landscape. Hootsuite’s customisable dashboards makes this easier.
