Hootsuite is alright.. but there are better options out there
What do you like best about the product?
The price. I liked that I co'uld try it for free. It ended up being an invaluable experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to mplement. The instructions were confusing and the screen is cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have issues connecting to different platforms, and it's difficult to automate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it first, with a couple of poss that go live during slow hours.
A good tool for posting to multiple social media platforms at once.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of use you get for free. You can connect up to 3 social accounts, and schedule up to 30 posts at once. I love automated scheduling where Hootsuite picks popular traffic times to post for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The previews don’t exactly match what you will see on the social network, so it’s a little hard to make posts from Hootsuite and know what they will exactly look like.

Easy to Use Social Media Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that I was able to see all my organization's social media accounts in one spot. It made it easy to schedule posts, see timelines, and also see what kind of interactions or responses my posts were getting across various social media platforms.
The program is very easy to use. I was able to train several co-workers on how to use the program and the training only took a few minutes for all of the co-workers I worked with. It was very easy to explain and all features are very well defined.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that when you tried to add multiple pictures to a scheduled Facebook or Twitter post that the scheduled post would appear on your timeline several times with a different picture each time.
I wish that I could have scheduled the same posts at two separate times. At my organization we offered the same classes several times a month. Instead of copying and pasting everything it would have been nice to be able to just schedule the same post at a different time.

I was able to schedule and program events for at my organization for a whole month ahead. This saved me a lot of time.

Use all of the features available via Hootsuite to save the most amount of time possible.
Excellent Social Media Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an excellent tool for any social media manager. At it's cheapest (free), the program allows for 3 social media platforms (i.e. 1 Facebook Page, 1 Twitter, 1 Instagram) and up to 30 scheduled posts per day. In its pay-for plans, the platform opens the cap on scheduled posts, allows for additional social media accounts, and ups its list of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
General frustration (but more on the part of Instagram than with the Hootsuite software) -- Instagram posts can be scheduled and simplified with Hootsuite, but a human with a phone still has to be the one to create and post the Instagram image and caption at the desired time. Want something to post at 3 AM in the morning your time on Instagram? Someone needs to be awake to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite absolutely allows for better, more meticulous management of our business's social media accounts. The ability to schedule, oversee and manage social media all from one convenient screen is invaluable. In addition (for management teams), there is a feature for post approval, allowing for a second set of eyes before a post is submitted. In addition, the analytics features (even those at the free level, although these are also beefed up with payment) are an asset to be able to monitor the interactions and engagement with our platforms and posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even if you're only testing the free version of this software, it's worth it to your social media team to give this program and try, and see what it's like to manage, schedule, and control your social media from one convenient location!

It’s easy when everything works. Sometimes, it’s cumbersome and I might as well have just posted individually.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could probably be just as efficient if I didn’t use it.

Don’t get too excited, it’s not as great as they advertise it to be.
Comprehensive and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite can handle a large number of streams, so that is one feature that I really like. a lot. I have used it for several years now and know it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very easy to work with other users and permissions. Eventually you can figure out how to do most everything, but it is a little difficult at first.

Hootsuite handles the distribution of my social media accounts.

User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, looks nice, straightforward, no extra content that makes it too difficult to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been having issues with the software recently where I schedule content with photos attached and the photos don't show up on Twitter once they are posted. It throws off the entire tweet and it makes me look bad when I have to delete tweets and repost them with the attached photo on Twitter (not using the app). Defeats the purpose of being able to schedule content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Photos I attached through HS aren't going through on Twitter once the tweet is posted.

Hootsuite is a very interactive and user friendly social media management tool!

Thank be honest I have nothing bad to say about the platform. It takes a while to absorb the display, after a while you get used to it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining all of our social media channel used to be an impossible task Hootsuite changed that. Having all of your content in one place, helping you set/achieve/monitor campaigns closely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a holistic approach to using the tool, it’s best to have Hootsuite be the sole platform for reporting, content management and campaign launch.
