Great tool but pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy the platform is to use. I like that scheduling Tweets is free. Their dashboard makes it easy to track certain hashtags or users.
What do you dislike about the product?
How expensive it is for the paid version. I don't like that you have to pay so much to bulk schedule tweets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mostly for scheduling tweets. It's very easy to use but to upgrade for bulk tweets is quite pricey.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes for small businesses and entrepreneurs I recommend Hoot Suite as a great way to manage Twitter.
Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the features are improving often and that they listen to their users

They do not have the integrations that I would hope for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting is very nice and helps when summarizing out clients account information. The scheduling save us time, and ultimately money

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling bulk posts and moving around posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some system glitches. The layout could be updated as well.

It’s really easy to connect all the social accounts and manage them in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule our social posts on many different accounts and platforms. I like customizing your dashboard for high visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no function to reuse old posts. That would be very useful for users and save a lot of time. Other than that, there's not much to complain about.

Hootsuite allows us to manage multiple social accounts across multiple clients. It streamlines everything for better control in social media management and monitoring.

If you need a progam to help you schedule your social posts, this is the one for you. Hootsuite is the premier social media management company in the marketing world.
Convenient Way to Post Across Multiple Social Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite lets you schedule content to publish across multiple social media platforms. Makes it easy to plan a strategic calendar of content and see when it will all go out to fans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some types of dynamic content (i.e. GIFs and video) sometimes don't autoplay when scheduled through Hootsuite, turning their convenient service into an inconvenient disservice requiring more work in the end. Also, if you're planning to put $$$ behind content to boost to targeted audiences, you'll still have to do that through the specific social site anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me manage social media content calendars for multiple corporate clients across multiple social media sites months into the future all from one dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite has recently changed its subscription options, so what we previously used for free now requires a paid monthly subscription. When faced with this change, my agency decided to look elsewhere for a better social media management software.
Simple and easy social media software with decent interface
What do you like best about the product?
A true leader in all social media management software. Being able to manage our social media accounts from one location. The ability to create custom streams with the content needed in order for me to be able to work efficiently is the best.The built-in link shortener is a lifesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very cost effective and many of the plug-ins either don't do what they claim to do or are difficult to use.Too many navigations between modules . dislike HootSuite's mobile app as it is constantly crashing and loading slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Hootsuite to manage our multiple twitter account. Targeting audience and being connected to the relevant keywords is really simple here.

A must have social media software to track and explore your all social media aspects like mention, retweet and keywords tracking. All in one in a single dashboard.
Great first social scheduling tool
What do you like best about the product?
After connecting your social media accounts, setup is relatively easy and intuitive. I like that it allows me to schedule a client's content calendar in a fast and easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Random errors and non-functioning happen at least once a week. Plus it's slow to incorporate newer features, such as the lag between Twitter increasing the character limit and Hootsuite recognizing that fact. Also it still does not have the ability to tag people or companies on LinkedIn the way you can with Facebook and Twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the need to be at my computer at a certain time to post on social channels for a client and am able to schedule large quantities of posts so that i spend less time posting and more time engaging.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're just wading into the world of social monitoring and scheduling and don't want a large investment of time or money, this is a great tool. If you're an advanced user and care about analytics being baked in and not piecemeal per report you pay for, then you might be better served looking elsewhere.
Not perfect, but gets the job done...
What do you like best about the product?
Tabbed stream dashboards allow for an easy review of recent social activity. Post scheduling helps keep social efforts organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Post composer and scheduling could be improved. It's better than scheduling manually, but still not perfect for our internal workflow. Errors with connecting to social networks can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've saved a lot of time using Hootsuite to organize and schedule upcoming social posts across all of our social channels. Keeping up with competitor and industry feeds through user and keyword targeting is much less painful with Hootsuite's stream dashboards.
Useful, but free version limited on twitter
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great dashboard to manage multiple platforms at once and for scheduling posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
For The free version, tweets schedule with images will post the link to where the image is hosted instead of the actual image. This means the tweets will not actually show images but just links, making them much less likely to grab peoples attention. Also more times than not, suites analytics are available for individual platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great place to see in map out where your content is on multiple platforms and manage notifications on multiple platforms.
Once necessary, now becoming obsolete.
What do you like best about the product?
This was a program very necessary for any social media professional 5 years ago. Now, I use it for mass scheduling but struggle to find the value for coat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the amount of time spent reconfiguring with all of the security upgrades of social channels over time.
