Hootsuite is great for Social Media Management!

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite as a means for posting to all of my social media accounts at one time. Also, it allows my colleagues and I to share one set of social media accounts as a group, which is what we need to do for our communications to our clientele.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the accounts become disconnected. However, I am not sure if that is a function of Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows for my colleagues and I to easily work together to post to and manage our team's social media accounts.

Good solution for small business or personal social media posting

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to schedule posts for a small business days/weeks in advance. This allows me to find the ideal times and days to post to multiple accounts, especially for special circumstances.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to adjust several settings within one page, not multiple tabs (e.g. schedule, images, accounts). Limited number of postings for free accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated posting to our company's social media
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with the free plan, then see if you need to upgrade. It works quite well for our small clinic.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a fairly comprehensive platform with a lot of integrations that makes it simple and easy to schedule posts and content across multiple social media platforms. The analytics tool is also fairly adept at providing a nice overview of your followers' engagement. It's fairly easy to assign tasks to other team members as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be a bit sleeker and more intuitive, especially on the content publishing and curation side of the equation. Some of the more advanced functions are also pretty costly, and can add up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is great for content marketing, it is very useful to have the capability to schedule out weeks or months of content across multiple platforms in advance, and it is simple to go back in and edit the posts if needed. That is a huge timesaver for our business, where we do not have time to make posts on all of our social media channels every day. With Hootsuite, we can schedule it and not have to worry about it being posted in a timely manner. It is also great to go back in and look at analytics over time to see what types of content and what times of day work best for our company and our audience engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Hootsuite over any other content management and scheduling platform, it is the most comprehensive one I've used in my experience.

Beat Value, Awesome Social Media Management Platform.

What do you like best about the product?
The cost, the ease of use, the integration, and they come up with new products. Love the innovation. The old reporting is great, I don't use the new, but I am assuming it is even more robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could add just one more person to the pro plan.
I wish there was one step between the pro and business plan to cater to those who aren't ready to spend $500/month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting social media content on the social web.
I am able to automate them to schedule automatically, it takes the guesswork out of picking times or know when the best time to post is. I also like the Chrome extension feature, makes for a VERY easy way to share and post content without going to the hootsuite website. I think I use the extension 90% of the time. Looking forward to more improvements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Offer social media strategy sessions, if they do not already.

Great timesaver for posting

What do you like best about the product?
In a day when there are so many social networks and not enough time to get on individual accounts to post the same thing, Hootsuite is the perfect way to save time and get a message across in seconds. And it's easy to use too. It's saved me lots of time in the years I have used it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to dislike. It's a time saver!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing is it saves us time. That's key.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it so easy for me to plan my social media posts out! It's easy to integrate, recommends the best times to post, and is truly a great marketing assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything! It's all so helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Especially if you know you're going to be out of the office for a while, it's great to be able to schedule posts ahead of time.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard quick view is super valuable for our agency. Being able to take a quick snapshot of our clients engagement is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting leaves something to be desired. Would like to see an improved reporting tool set that doesn't cost so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency, it allows us to manage dozens of clients profiles which has been super helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
RSS automation and auto scheduling means you can quickly get on top of your campaigns

They recently dropped the suggested content feature which was a godsend to small businesses who don't have an entire social team coming up with content ideas

Hootsuite helps us keep on top of our social media activity all in one place. We've saved time and effort, whilst building a steadily growing social media following

Whatever you're trying to achieve with social media, the primary function is surely to drive people to your own business website and interacting with you through less formal channels.

For a small business to business environment working in a niche, not everybody is looking on Facebook for your service. However, marketers are people (in most cases) and you never know who will see your content out there so it needs to do the best job of representing your company and your culture as possible. Hootsuite gives you all the tools to make this relatively easy but a human being still needs to be creating the content and interacting with people who contact you through all these channels.

Like any marketing activity it shouldn't be undertaken lightly so you need to ensure that you've got the content on your own site to back up what you're shouting about on Social Media. For us it's allowed us to create far more presence that we could have achieved by using each individual platform separately.

Streamlines Social Media Posts

What do you like best about the product?
Setting the dashboard up was fairly simple, and the UX is pretty sleek and intuitive. My company soon upgraded to the Pro version, and we have liked it so far. Love how we can schedule an unlimited amount of posts in advance. Great for small businesses!
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked how I could only add up to 3 social media accounts for the free version. It is also a bit difficult to set up at first. It is also a bit unfortunate that the social media campaign plan is still in its Beta stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has helped us demystify social media analytics and determine exactly when we want our posts to go out. We have realized that it is especially helpful for delegating the responsibilities of each profile to different people.

If you are looking to better manage your social media, look no further!
