What do you like best about the product?
Cross platform posting, multiple accounts, easy scheduling, multi-level monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
No automated instagram posting, although that is likely due to IG policies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management numerous accounts for multiple clients has been made feasible

My brief review of Hootsuite

What do you like best about the product?
Though it has been a while since I used it, Hootsuite was relatively easy to use and most useful for Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
On rare occasions where I needed assistance, or made a mistake, it seemed difficult to find live support. Also, while Hootsuite was helpful to schedule posts on Twitter, Facebook's scheduling tool was actually more convenient and easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the time, we primarily used Hootsuite to post to social media during off hours, mostly weekends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For basic needs, this was a cheap and helpful tool. Though it offered some extra features, my company switched to a different tool with more bells and whistles.

A Great Management and Scheduling Tool for Social Media

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Hootsuite for how it centralizes and streamlines social media management for my companies' and my own social media platforms. Its interface packs in a lot of information while still remaining easy to navigate and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each free account is limited to integrating only three social media platforms. You can also schedule only 30 messages at a time. In the past, I have had mixed results with scheduling Facebook posts on this platform and having erratic rankings/placement in Facebook's news feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me organize, save time, and have a more focused and outlined social media strategy. It centralizes my companies' social media interactions onto one platform so that I can easily monitor and build our social interactions across different platforms at once. This helps me create a more cohesive strategy, voice, and content marketing promotion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a social media management platform for your own social media use or for that of a small company, you can get what you need out of the free account functionality. If you need this tool for a mid-sized to large business and/or one with many key social media platforms, I would upgrade to Business or Enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to be able to see all my social media profiles and notifications in one place. It's also nice for when I need to schedule posts in advance. However, I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I usually go directly to Facebook when I want to check notifications and FB allows you to schedule posts anyway.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing in particular that I don't like. I do wish it could publish directly to Instagram for you without needing to send a notification first. However, I think that is an Instagram issue and not Hootsuite's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling our social media posts in advance and keeping track of all our notifications. It's convenient to be able to do it all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great if you are a one-man team trying to manage all of your company's social media accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that hootsuite offers a one stop shop to keep track of social media. It is nice not to have to look separately at twitter, linkedin, instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app doesn't have the best setup for how to understand what is going on with the different sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to keep updated on social media. I am not sure exactly how to expand upon our problem solving usage, but it is a nice tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am not sure what social media sites are available thru hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the customization that Hootsuite offers
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing can be tough if you need to make a correction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hoot suite makes it very convenient to post to multiple platforms at once and saves us a lot of time!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't post multiple photos to Facebook, and they will post separately - very frustrating! The instagram posting could use some help as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts and manage all of my social media in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would actually post to instagram, but that has nothing to do with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Schedule social media posts for all social media platforms that my company has.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The free option is amazing if you are only needing it for a few platforms! Most of these types of apps require payment, so I'm glad they have the option of free before you can upgrade.

Great Social Media Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can integrate Gsuite or Google Drive into the process for social media posting/curating and I don't need to download the materials to upload them to Hootsuite. I also love the new bulk editor and content curation. Also I like how it can manage RSS feeds for curation and posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more automatic content curation for more brands, not just one. And also I would love to have automatic Instagram posting for the accounts without using the mobile app. I also dislike the reports are generated using credits while the competition has this covered with the monthly payment. But if you have another tool for reporting, then this is not an issue for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media communication and monitoring, the hability to have multiple teams for customer service and social media monitoring is a must nowadays. You need to keep track of your social media channels and also the competition. It's easy to integrate other channels through the Apps that Hootsuite has and extend the functionality of the platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a good quality social media management tool that offers good solutions for your bucks, then Hootsuite is the right choice.

- calendar views
- access to a variety of social networks
- ability to authorize other users and respond to posts they've created for your review
What do you dislike about the product?
- You can't see previous posts that you've already posted in the calendar view - no history
- uploading images and other media is pretty glitchy sometimes. I've sometimes had posts go live with no media attached
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- social media management
- social media analytics
- social media engagement
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- use in tandem with other social media software such as Buffer or TweetDeck or Later. It's not a whole-meal-deal solution.

Great For Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
As a team at my agency, it is sometimes hard to know who will be scheduling what, and what the social team already has planned. Hootsuite gives us one central location to see all of our main feeds and keep up to date on what will be going out when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I have run into small technical issues and newbies accidentally sending posts at the wrong time. However, this is very rare and I don't run into it often - very happy with Hootsuite!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been better able to collaborate as a team on our company's social media feeds. Given our busy schedules, and usually dealing with posting content for our clients, our own social sometimes ends up a last minute (or after) thought. Hootsuite makes it fast and easy!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend taking a quick course or reading up on all of the possibilities Hootsuite has to offer.
