Great app!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I'm able to post to all my social media platforms from one website without having to open up separate windows for each one. It's easy to post as well as include photos, videos, add a location and schedule the post for a certain day and time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I can schedule a post to our Instagram business page, I still have to go through a mobile device to actually post it. It would be nice to not have to do that and just post directly from my desktop computer at work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in charge of posting to our social media outlets for my employer and I don't have a personal Facebook account. With Hootsuite, I can login and still access our business pages without having to log directly into Facebook. The benefits of using Hootsuite like mentioned above in the section about what I liked best are obviously that you can connect as many platforms as you like (from what I've seen) to Hootsuite and post or schedule to post to them all at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an excellent service that allows my company to post content for our various social media platforms. This service allows us to upload our social media posts for the month in an organized and quick manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are no longer able to shorten links in posts. Given character limitation on some websites, this causes an inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves my business a bunch of time. We put our social media posts for the month in there ahead of time so each day a post is automatically sent out. We do not have to spend anytime thinking of something to post that day. This allows us more time to focus on other business tasks. It also helps makes us more organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a program to upload various social media posts in a quick, easy, affordable, and organized manner then this is for you!
Amazing for weekend and late night posting!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite allowed us to plan out our marketing efforts online in advanced with scheduled posts. This allowed our presence to maintain on early mornings, late nights, holidays and weekends, when most companies drop off because they don't have someone in the office to write them.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was using it, it wasn't as developed as it is now, so all the added features we would have liked, were not yet available or we didn't meet the $ requirement to have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining an online presence at all times with scheduled postings and keeping in contact with our customers and users in one platform vs logging into each on each individual one saved time and helped elevate our brand when we were trying to grow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an all in one platform to monitor and grow your social media presence, this is great! You can use it to write back to users, monitor traffic and see improvements and dips in your efforts and do A/B testing right in their platform. Very valuable for companies small and large, but probably more for small companies with limited resources!
Great platform for social media managers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily schedule my posts in an organized manner. I can manage multiple profiles at once while collaborating with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytic reports are expensive, my budget doesn't agree with them. With a small business, it is not good. It is expensive to create a custom url as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a great planning tool but if you don't have a well-equipped budget then it is difficult to use for analytics, customization, and reports.
Thumbs Up for Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to schedule & edit posts, and see all comments, messages, & feeds from one dashboard. I can switch between accounts and social media channels with ease. I can also post videos to Instagram through the Hootsuite app, which is great because the files are usually too big to send to my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike how slow the tool works - it takes a while for the tool to catch up with what my mouse is doing, which can be frustrating when I need to work quickly. Also wish you could tag people when posting on LinkedIn from Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has given our team an easy way to see into each other's channels and resolve customer service issues. We could not do what we do in marketing without a scheduling tool, and a quick ow.ly shortener. We have also enjoyed Hootsuite Impact to give us a roundup of our campaigns and insight into how our individual posts are performing.
Many Benefits From Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
It was convenient to use for managing many different business accounts and keeping things organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes accounts would get disconnected for no reason and it was a frustrating process getting that sorted out again.

It's helpful for putting messages out on several different accounts and keeping ads organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of options out there. I'd look into what might you're specifically looking to get out of a content manager like this. I've used several in the past and while Hootsuite has several pros that I was looking for, those might not apply to others, so making sure you know what you specifically need to get out of it is best. If I wasn't checking several boxes with what I'm getting from Hootsuite I wouldn't necessarily say it'd be worth the price.
HootSuite turns chaos to calm... for most!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite takes nearly every single social media outlet and puts it all in one simple dashboard. This makes controlling your posts and scheduling much much easier. There are times where I do not work and can still schedule posts on all medias with a simple touch of a button. Another neat feature is that once you log in, a tiny hootlet caption pops up over any images you encounter over the web with options to share that picture on any platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it may seem hectic at first, and you have to pay to upgrade. The free version comes with a decent amount of features however it would be great to have at least the "professional" additions included in the free package including bulk scheduling and real time analytics. However if you are using Google Analytics alongside Hoot suite, you have a complete marketing tool at your disposal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves all marketing issues by simplifying the process and making it easier for users to keep their followers updated. Social media marketing becomes extremely simple with HootSuite. There are many benefits of using Hootsuite. The amount of time saved plus the ease of use make it the perfect go to application for marketing.

It is worth trying out. There is a free version which can be used indefinitely, but the upgrades definitely make it better depending on how large your team is.
Love Hootsuite, But Wish Instagram & LinkedIn Would Get On Board with Scheduling Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite seamlessly integrates all of your social media streams into one easy-to-navigate dashboard! It couldn't be easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT Hootsuite's fault - but two big social media companies, Instagram and Facebook, STILL won't allow third-party tools to schedule content on their behalf. It's a huge inconvenience, especially for social media managers who travel or don't work every day of the week and don't have time to post content. To their credit, Hootsuite HAS tried to create a workaround for Instagram, but it's not great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has made it so much easier to post content across multiple channels! I'm so glad this exists.

Use it! I has a great free version if you want to test it out.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule automated social media sendouts and get a bird's eye view of responses, mentions, etc. on the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app isn't as great as desktop: doesn't allow viewing of multiple types of interactions on social media at once, occasionally gets stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to conduct sendouts during 'quiet times', and set up sendouts the day before they need to go out and not worry about whether or not it'll occur. Also allows us to keep a finger on the pulse of our followers

Great for those who primarily work through twitter and Facebook - offers a free account that is a very effective way to try the software and use it on a small level on an ongoing basis.
A Social Media Managers Best Friend!
What do you like best about the product?
This software truly couldn't of made it easier for me. In my current role, and past internships, I have been responsible for managing multiple social media accounts. Hootsuite allowed me to schedule and monitor posts from one dashboard, as well as allowing me to interact with followers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. Maybe if it was free!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interacting and engaging with social media followers is critical. This program allows users to do this easily, and start a conversation. In addition, the metrics play a huge factor -- and I don't think this is something many realize, until they see the data. Hootsuite gives you real-time analytics.
