What do you like best about the product?
Great for scheduling tweets, community management, and trend monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be a bit better to look at but overall it is a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Community management, posting consistency.

Hootsuite is for those really juggling social media accounts

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I could see accounts across the board. Although it got a bit muddy also seeing the accounts that those accounts followed. Hootsuite did offer a discount for non-profits upon request.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling and crossposting wasn't as intuitive as would have been ideal. It is also a bit overwhelming to see it all at once. I imagine that if social media and marketing were my primary job functions I would probably have been able to get more benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tried to do a better job of monitoring and maximizing our social media with Hootsuite. But ended up just going to each one (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) separately to do anything any way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're really juggling a lot of social media accounts this might be great for you. You'll also need to spend some time training and learning how to use and read the Hootsuite dashboard.

Was not as impressed as I was once I tried Sproutsocial.

Keep in mind that the tool does have various limitations even though it is initially cost effective.

Simple, Easy, Useable

What do you like best about the product?
Their app allows you to do a lot of things at the touch of your finger. It is a very helpful tool to have when you're on the go in need to manage your pages. I use it on a regular basis the keep up to date on the different pages I manage over Social media. The fact that this program allows me to manage one social media platform for free is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of this program to use it with multiple social media platforms is too high. If someone is in a "smaller" area and does not have to opportunity for much reach in their area, a paid solution like they offer is beyond your need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has allowed me to use my phone to manage and keep up with all of my Facebook pages that I manage for the organization I work for. This is a MUST in our culture today with over 85% of American adults still active on Facebook! Solutions like this help a lot!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember to decide if you are actually needing a paid version of the or not. They offer some AMAZING features for managing all of your social media platforms at once with scheduled posts and the ability to respond to posts, comments, and other interactions all from within their program. A great mobile solution for people who have to manage multiple pages/groups/personal profiles. I would guess that over the next few years Hootsuite will really develop some more incredible tools to help business succeed more over social media.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling feature and the interface showing multiple feeds.

The connection to LinkedIn and Instagram were clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helpful for saving time when managing multiple social channels. With scheduling from one calendar we're able to get a clear picture of what's going out in single snapshot.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the platform makes it very user-friendly. Quick to learn, easy to use, and very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints at all with Hootsuite. It serves my purposes very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes managing multiple social media accounts seamless and streamlines the process. Because it is easier, I am more likely to actually stay on top of my social media posting for my business, thus it helps me do my job better.

I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for setting up social messages quickly. It's easy to learn and I don't feel people need to be social experts to be users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more detailed tools could be better explained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to schedule message quickly at the beginning of every month and don't have to worry about them.

Gets the Job Done

What do you like best about the product?
It gets the job done by scheduling content and is affordable. It doesn't offer any frills or distracting content. You can also set up exactly what you want to see in your Streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It disconnects accounts often. When a scheduled post fails to send, the reasons why are vague and rescheduling the failed post are difficult. Outdated look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social media posts for a plethora of clients across multiple social platforms. From an agency standpoint, it allows us to schedule the content for all of our clients in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your main goal is scheduling and posting content, it definitely gets the job done. But don't expect any frills. There are a lot of glitches and emails saying that messages failed to send or certain accounts were disconnected. It's very frustrating from an agency perspective when we have hundreds of accounts linked.
