Used mostly to schedule posts

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the scheduling feature and being able to post to various social media platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to add in the instagram account but had a lot of trouble with it - after not being able to add the company's instagram to my account, I used Hootsuite less and less. I didn't like that I need to essentially post the same post twice because for twitter I needed shorter posts and lots of hashtags, but for FB, I focused more on content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save a lot of time being able to schedule all my posts for the month in one evening.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you're able to access various social media accounts on one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Instagram still needs you to manually approve it on your phone during the post schedule. If you're away for a few days you still have to count on someone else or work on your vacation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The analytics for all accounts in one place makes it easier to present our social media account progress.

What do you like best about the product?
As a small firm who is just beginning to capitalize on Hootsuite, I recommend this tool because of its easy set-up, great tutorials and user-friendliness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I did not know what the final product would look like upon completion of the set-up. A quick snapshot video of beginning to end processes would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Systems of balance and intentionality are extremely valuable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn from other users how they're maximizing its capabilities.

Easy, Basic Social Media Sharing Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to set up and monitor. Like being able to follow multiple discussions and manage multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling UI feels a bit outdated. Would be neat if it recommended content based on social activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite provides a central location for us to post socially. It is a time saver and lets us keep an eye on what is going on in our industry across various social platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good entry level product for basic social monitoring and analytics, especially for free.

Hootsuite automates your social media postings, encouraging engagement with your followers.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite simplifies the social media process by allowing us to post multiple tweets or statuses on our social media profiles. We are able to share relevant content with our followers, as well as communicate our brand with others who didn't know about us before.
The scheduling assistant is our favorite part about Hootsuite. As a small company, all of us where a lot of hats, and none of us have the time to dedicate days let alone our entire job to social media outreach and engagement. By scheduling posts with Hootsutie we spend one day a quarter grooming, refining, and updating posts to schedule throughout the quarter and Hootsuite does the launching/posting for us. This saves us time and from doing a lot of tedious work. Furthermore, we can analyze Hootsuite's analytics to see how engaged our audience is and what we can improve upon.
Hootsuite used to allow free accounts to scheduled an unlimited amount of posts, but recently they put a limit on the number to can schedule in advance to 30. This puts a wrench in our quarterly social planning, as we have way more than 30 posts launching in a quarter. We are going to have to upgrade to the next plan and pay for a subscription.. With that said, we do believe the value of the tool is worth the money

Great Service, Needs to Improve Instagram Access

What do you like best about the product?
Love how Hootsuite allows our company a way to not only manage and plan all of our social content, but that it also gives us a way to track social content that is being created about our company. It's been such a huge help being able to monitor who is mentioning us on what platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really have been disappointed with Hootsuite's compatibility with Instagram. Both the web and app versions of Hootsuite never works with Instagram, and so we're forced to manually post to Instagram, even if we can see our mentions and DMs from other users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has just made management of all of our social media channels much, much easier. Being able to schedule out automated posts in advance has been a lifesaver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Hootsuite to others looking for a way to streamline their social media networks, but would advise those who frequently use Instagram, and who need to be able to schedule out posts for Instagram, to maybe look for something else.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage and view all social content in one place. I not only use this myself, but manage the social media team through hootsuite. I currently manage 3 different brands (all with their own pages) and 2 social media staff and this is the best all in one tool I've found.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the team features we're a little better. It would be nice to track all status and updates per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing all social media pages, posts and staff in one location. We can also easily keep track of our competitors

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Hootsuite is to connect all social media accounts, post and schedule posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be much better. I dont like how the RSS feeds work. You have to create multiple feeds.. If you have more then one feed for the same social media account, You have to list them separately. It doesn't sort them by social media account. It can be a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for social media management for our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can view all my social networks in one place, I can assign streams and what users can do and see.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often Third Party apps are charged, I have a couple of instances that an App appeared free and the received a bill. I dislike that Hootsuite allows this and they need to improve this.

If a scheduled tweet fails, it's not clear why and I cant see a way to find out why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is an excellent time-saving platform and allows us to interact with users across multi-platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your looking for a platform to allow easy sending tweets/messages across multiple platforms then this is good.

If you're looking to generate leads or manage customer service queries, then I would suggest that you consider alternatives.

I like that it allows you to easily push tweets or Facebook status out and to plan ahead as well

Taking away the stress of trying to sit down every day and plan your social status

Use hoot suite to interact with people on social media too. It's great for scheduling but also for analytics and for interacting with other accounts
