Effective app that makes managing my companies social media pages easier.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to manage and simultaneously post to all my platforms at once. It makes it much easier when all of the information is in one app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that at times it can get confusing with what post are going where due to it automatically selecting sites upon logging in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new marketing assistant, I never miss a beat utilizing the new HootSuite app.I am able to make sure that on a daily basis I am active on all platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to be sure that you are being active and consistent on your social media pages, HootSuite is a great way to do so.
Wonderful Product
What do you like best about the product?
Allows multi-platform posting for professionals that have to manage multiple social media accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
The User Experience could use a slight upgrade, but over all the tool is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problem is the need to create multiple copies of the same social media post for different platforms
Fantastic & Free
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand free tools that significantly improve workflow for someone doing social media management. Offers some free reporting tools that can show people how effective posting is, which is very important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can seem a bit overwhelming for a new user, but once you get used to the interface, it comes at ease. Often find myself wishing that there were more free features for reporting but I have a small organization that can't afford to pay their premium rates so it could be that their reporting is much more robust than I have seen. Also, wish that they had auto-posting to Instagram enabled! Maybe one day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management is so much easier. The benefits of scheduled posting mean more foresight and time!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule social media items in advance.

Social media posts for Linkedin were easier for me to do in Linkedin than using Hootsuite.

Scheduling tweets using Hootsuite lets us use social media beyond business hours.
Wonderful tool for analyzing and staying up to date on multiple social platforms
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for staying current on all social platforms. You can quickly and easily access your messages on all accounts which allows you to increase your customer service efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to this platform that should be explored and compared. This definitely takes some time to figure out, though can be user friendly once mastered!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Responding to messages as quickly as possible which increases customer service. There are quick analytics on posts from multiple social media platforms which helps increase appeal and success.

This is a good platform for social media management. It makes your engagement much more efficient and easy while giving quick analytics which can aid in making effective posts!

Doesn’t hook up well to Instagram and you still have to use your phone.

It was difficult @ mentioning accounts for certain social media networks (Facebook especially).

Great Automation and Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool in hootsuite makes it super convenient to pre-schedule posts that are part of our social media strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer the analytics within a native social media platform over those in hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get our information about our colleges classes, programs, events and community involvement and engage in conversation s with those who tweet at us as well as see trending topics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It isn't the best option for Facebook scheduling but being able to add various social networks and streams has been very helpful to our institution.
Social Media Scheduling at the Touch of a Button
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Hootsuite is that I can schedule social media content on multiple different platforms at once! Whether you want to schedule a post to be weeks in the future on a specific date, have it posted instantly, or even have it posted on multiple platforms, Hootsuite is THE tool that's free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there are a limited number of accounts you can connect to the free platform of Hootsuite. After either 3 or 4, you are required to upgrade or log in and out of the ones you want posting access to at all times. This can become frustrating and tedious when you are working within a budget and want the same post to come out of many different platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business world has become inundated with social media and Hootsuite solves the challenge of always needing new content on a Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter feed. You can create your content all at once and schedule it to be effortlessly spread out across hours, days, weeks or even months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to save copies of any graphics you plan to add to social media posts on your phone and download the HootSuite mobile app! This way, you are able to schedule your posts on the go. Another recommendation is to make sure your Instagram app is logged in before you use HootSuite to post on Instagram. The HootSuite app will take you to the Instagram app in order to post content directly and it helps if you are already logged in.
A nice SMM tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the user interface and opportunity to schedule posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not satisfied with recent restrictions concerning number of scheduled posts for users using free plan. Also I'd like to use more than 3 accounts in a free plan maybe with less scheduled posts available. I also used a trial period and I just don't get it, what I should pay for: a greater number of accounts and more scheduled posts? This is not what I'm going to do.

I use it for my working needs as a SMM manager

There are definitely better products on the market with more functionality available for free. It's okay to use with 1-3 accounts, but impossible with more
