What do you like best about the product?
This is definitely best for busy professionals and/or those who have a whole lot of posts to schedule, especially in advance. I do appreciate the ability to schedule posts ahead of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue used to be the fact that links had to stay in for previews to show up (which looks tacky on the actual platform), but that has since been remedied! As has the ability to save drafts in your draft box. I do wish that there was an option to only view a select number of the dashboard streams at once (without actually removing the setting).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Including Google Analytics parameters for tracking, quick way to obtain an analytics snapshot. Helpful in that I can be alerted if there are any issues I need to handle immediately, and I can judge effectiveness of our marketing efforts given the included campaign parameters
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great if you have little time, many posts, and/or less experience with social media

The interface. Since posting and monitoring are the same screen, not easy to understand.

To manage all social account in one place.

Easy Brand Listening and Engagement

What do you like best about the product?
We have multiple Facebook and Twitter accounts for our company, so I love how I can set up different listening streams to make sure I can covering all accounts. I also like that you can make your search query unique and block out certain words. It is also great that we can track UTM's through Google Analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be easier to engage with tweets and select which account I am on. I don't want to accidentally like or retweet from the wrong account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expanding our brand through social media and tying ROI to social.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple social media accounts on different platforms this is a great tool. Definitely take advantage of the UTM capabilities so you can track your social and tie it back to business goals.

The interface is difficult to navigate. It could be simplified.

I am able to interact with my page and followers multiple times in a day without having to be glued to my computer to do.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an incredibly versatile social media scheduling software - with various features that are handy to a social media marketer. It's easy to post a single post to multiple platforms and accounts, and additionally, schedule posts ahead of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, I've found that Hootsuite has been very glitchy in the past few years - especially when posting. Sometimes posts disappear and doesn't appear until you refresh the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling ahead of time has been a savior! Especially weeks ahead of time. Training other people to schedule is also easy because you're able to review their posts before they're published.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! If it's not for you, try another software. Hootsuite isn't for everyone.

I like the automatic scheduling feature. I also like the ability to segment Twitter by lists, so I can follow certain keywords and industry professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a Pinterest integration feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great benefit is the analytical reports.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to plan out my social media posts for my entire week.
What do you dislike about the product?
That all those posts get tagged with hootsuite so people know you have a tool posting for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning out my weeks worth of social media posts ahead of time so that I can strategical plan when and how they go out. This allows for more time freedom to do the things I want to do when I want to do them. Would love to play with the analytics tools more and really break out what these tools can do for me and my business to day, tomorrow, and everyday into the future. This product is well worth the time investment in getting to know how to use it. Once you discover what you can do your business will definitely jump to the next level. Your traffic flow will increase and you will know what it is like to be 100% successful in all aspects of your life.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play with the functionality and you will find yourself saving loads of time in the end. I cannot recommend this application enough. It has helped me tremendously to get my name out there as well as helped my business reach the next level. Put the time in and you will be rewarded. Today is a new day and tomorrow as well but the longer you wait, the longer it will take to succeed.

Other than that, it's not that great. It doesn't do everything that I thought that I needed for it.

I think that it's good for just automation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you just want audimation, this is good. Other than that find something like buffer.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts is by far the feature we use the most. If you have a promotion going on over the weekend, or an after work hours event, scheduling ahead saves a lot of admin time out of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be cleaner. I manage around 15 social accounts (more or less), and the different streams are a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are much more active on social since we're not limited to 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday working hours. Our engagement on Twitter has remained consistent, and we're meeting our monthly KPIs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start off with the free version; there are plenty of benefits, and you can't beat that ROI.
