Not Quite as Robust as Other Social Suites

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that this is a free software platform. Especially when the other alternatives are as pricey as $99 per month which is a large investment when starting a new brand with a very low marketing budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some of the UX design from the platform. As a social media manager, you spend quite a lot of time looking at the one particular interface, with that being said I wanted the platform to do a better job of organizing information and making the design more aesthetically pleasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The overall issue that Hootesuite has assisted in helping me solve revolves around unifying my message over multiple platforms and working to become more proactive in my social media management vs reactive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to see them invest more in offering analytics to free accounts. They have relied fully on a freemium approach for platforms that offer free analytics natively. Other than that it would be nice to see a redesigned UX layout.

What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly but also provides a variety of solutions for various sized businesses. It is very adaptable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many analytics features compared to Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter Analytics or Iconosquare.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to manage social media accounts across a variety of work projects. I like being able to see all of my timelines organized and accessible on one dashboard and to send updates across channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new update to free accounts where scheduled posts are now limited to 30 posts was quite jarring. I used to be able to schedule posts at least three weeks in advance, but now I will have to increase my frequency, thus changing my workflow. Also, @ mention tagging can be buggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and scheduling social media content across contents is so easy with Hootsuite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best in the social media management space.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite for about a year now i'm really happy with it. My team uses it to manage multiple social media platforms using one interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Hootsuite is too expensive. It costs us 50 dollars to get my custom URL up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is using Hootsuite to solve the issue that multiple social media platforms take too much time maintain.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite was easy to pick up when I first started using it and intuitive in its layout and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Never had any problems or things I couldn't do, although my use was fairly basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite put everything in one place for multiple social media feeds, making tracking and reporting much easier.

Decent Social Media Management Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can manage and see all of my social media accounts in one platform, and schedule the same post across multiple platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it has issues connecting to accounts, and also that it cannot schedule multiple photos to post together at one time (for Facebook or Instagram). When you post a few photos with text it will post the same post a few times with each photo once. I wish they would update this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to monitor our various different entities on social more efficiently. I can see if someone asks a question or comment and answer much more quickly than if I had to login to each account separately every day. It also helps me to review what I have schedule coming up to make better decisions about the posts I am doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I really like Hootsuite but I feel like over the years it hasn't made much improvements and I feel like it's gotten more difficult to connect newer social media accounts and makes me a tad nervous for any new ones that may come out down the road.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Hootsuite because every major platform most everyone uses on a daily basis is right in front of your face at the same time. There is no need for opening each platform in a different tab and managing that way. I also love that you can have topic and post generators added on to your account to help you search for content that is already out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy here and there when linking and sharing GIFs. Hootsuite needs to fix all bugs and make it a little more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving time each and every day by using Hootsuite and we are able to find content so much easier with the help of the third party plugins that you can download and add to your account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite makes life so much easier if you are trying to balance more than one social platform for your business. The mobile app is available as well and it allows you to post from wherever you may be in that moment.

What do you like best about the product?
This program is great to have all portals in one area. Nothing gets lost or falls through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
That some companies do not want to spend the money to ensure that their media is covered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows no confusion about who is working what portal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend this to my company and others to improve communication

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to keep track of all my social media in one place on the dashboard. The analytics are everything to me!
They have the most robust management of social media on the planet so far.
The extension within Chrome is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are expensive.
I prefer another shortener than Owly which they provide.
I would like a cleaner dashboard with smaller amounts of feed so I can see the dashboard better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I cross post to G+ which is huge.
They have an App! I can run it from my phone which is incredible for this digital nomad.
A real time saver!
The analytics are incredible!
I can immediately add a post from whatever I am looking at on my browser.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
THE most cost effective way to manage and make decisions for your social media.
There is a free trial and also the ability to have a free account. There is no losing on this one!

Great Social Media Monitoring Tool

What do you like best about the product?
In the "listening" feature on Hootsuite, I'm able to monitor trending hashtags, as well as keep up to date on industry trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I dislike how the calendar feature is not more front and center on the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has allowed Serro to better understand what is being discussed within the SDN/NFV industry. We have realized the benefits of increasing our social media followership and engagement.
