Saves You Time

What do you like best about the product?
I can post to several social media accounts at once from one platform and schedule posts for in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't modify posts very easily if I make a mistake or want to change something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time and allows one person to manage multiple social media accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts! I think it makes it great to set posts at the beginning of the week for my business and not worry about it the rest of the week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the formatting of the main stream is a bit "block-ish" and I wish the design looked more clean. The usage can also be slow to swipe and is a bit clunky. But overall I have not many complaints, and it gets the job done well!

I have had some issues with connectivity, especially since I changed my Instagram handle, and it wasn't the most smooth transition on Hootsuite. It takes a few tries for Hootsuite to adjust to the change. Overall, I love using Hootsuite!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to schedule social media posts, in order to maximize my time. I have yet to use the analytics function really, but I use it mainly for scheduling posts. It is incredibly easy to schedule posts! I love that I can easily link other handles or pages directly inside of the platform when writing posts, which helps to make everything super easy. I have yet to use the app on my iPhone but imagine it would make things all the more easier (hopefully). I was away from Hootsuite for a while but am happy to be back!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use it, as it helps to make your life easier! I would highly recommend it for other small businesses and entrepreneurs!

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has mad my work as a social media manager more organized and efficient. Companies should invest in Hootsuite in order to be consistent with creating content for folowers
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the program had more features -- it does well overall

Posting to social media outside of office hours is amazing!

It's very simple to use but remember when you schedule posts --- otherwise you might over post and annoy your followers

Well Established for Social Media Connections

What do you like best about the product?
being able to see everything all in one place - it is really convenient for me and my organization to be able to use the same platform to submit information to all our social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still have to go to each platform to understand the analytics. I think it needs a more comprehensive and user friendly platform for looking and helping to plan successful social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were submitting different content to both our accounts - FB and twitter- and it was very ineffective. Hootsuite has allowed us to combine them and tackle all our social media in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform is really wonderful and well established. I think it is a bit a lazier form for social media usage, and has room for improvement. It would be great to have a more comprehensive understanding of all the work that it can do, as well as provide constant updates and information for users. I am currently not seeing that like I am seeing it for other platforms.

Great way to manage multiple social media accounts

What do you like best about the product?
I first learned about Hootesuite when I was in college in a communications class when we were working with social media and how to save time when posting. Hootesuite is the perfect product as it allows you to post from one account to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Hootesuite is it is not well integrated with Instagram, where it copies and pastes the photo but not the descriptions and you have to manually post #'s.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us create and share social media content on a regular basis on multiple platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It makes it easy to publish social content.

Horrible Customer Service

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the idea of getting social media into one place. The ability to schedule and measure the success of social posts and activity in one application is pretty cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is just shit. Try and get through to them, I dare ya! I have better luck with Comcast customer service. Sales phone line - no answer... How is that?
The main reason for writing a horrible review for Hootsuite is so they recognize I am wanting to get their attention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am actually having one problem, by having Hootsuite, and no real benefits since the problem is getting annoying. If Hootsuite customer service ever becomes available I am sure there would be benefits to using the tool. That is not the case.

It works, but does feel outdated

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can view my Facebook account and manage my two Twitter accounts at once, especially since I send messages from both accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like HootSuite's platform. It's not as intuitive as to how to add accounts and create the panels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can look at all my important accounts with one website and not have to go between different accounts; also I don't have to login and logout.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The site works, but it can be a bit difficult to use when you're first trying to set up. In my experience it seems more like a display and doesn't really try to emulate the sites it's pulling your social media account info from.

Great cloud-based solution for easy to use social media management

What do you like best about the product?
I've used this social media management solution in both the agency environment and for in-house marketing. It makes managing multiple accounts seamless and allows you to make use of most features that each social media has to offer. Also great social monitoring features and easy scheduling of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some customization can be a little bit difficult. On occasion i've had to edit posts in the social media itself (e.g. sent a post in hootsuite and then had to edit the post in facebook to tag another page). I also dislike that all posts are attributed to being posted by hootsuite - not that its a big deal but sometimes it makes organizations seem less another degree removed. At the time i reached out you weren't able to change this setting but perhaps Hootsuite has updated their platform to allow for that to be removed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management is the best. Its easy to create a marketing calendar when you can schedule posts well in advance. Also ensures that you can streamline content across all platforms and be aware of what has been sent out. The monitoring also gives you great access to whats going on with your chosen influencers. The analytics we're also ideal for my monthly reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very wide spread and easy to use. Updating social media takes seconds and the set up is extremely simple. Hootsuite also offers great trials and has lots of good support videos. I love that this is a Canadian/Vancouver-based company.
