Hootsuite is a one-stop-shop for social media editors.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is great for scheduling social on multiple platforms all at once, saving me time and allowing me to visualize what's being scheduled into the future in an easy way. It's user-friendly and helps for planning ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Hootsuite is generally a great tool, sometimes the number of likes or clicks on a post don't quite match up with the stats I see on the social platforms themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Killing two birds with one stone by saving time and energy on multiple social media posts being scheduled all under one platform.
Great Social Media Manager
What do you like best about the product?
It's got great, easy to use tools for managing many social accounts in one easy place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's no longer a free to use program but it's still good for the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have several accounts for Twitter and Instagram and it was a really nice way to manage them on my phone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a nice program with a lot of features. It does cost money but most of the good ones nowadays do. Great mobile app!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see everything all in one place- scheduled posts, current posts, my feed, analytics, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is not always easy to post- issues with scrolling, etc.

Easy to use interface with a nice layout
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can connect all social media accounts to see them in ONE timeline... and schedule posts! It's super helpful when managing more than 1 account.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it feels a little basic – like there could be more advanced setting. Analytics are generally easy to understand, but more info is always nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used this as part of a small team, so it helps to managing everything easier with a lack of staff to monitor each social platform.
Manage NUMEROUS Client Accounts in One Place!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that you are able to manage everything from one dashboard. It is a user-friendly dashboard as well and allows you to quickly see each client all in one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the reporting was a little bit "beefier." The reporting is fairly basic for the $120/year that I am currently paying, although it is still decent. Oh! One of the biggest things that I wish I had was the ability to view the scheduled posts in a calendar form or an easy way to show clients what posts are coming up. Currently, I am using Excel (Google Sheets) for that and I wish it was all done at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am able to offer Social Media Marketing for clients and that is both beneficial to them and to me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would start with your own personal free account and then build as you need to on it.

Possibility to see multiple Facebook walls at once. No need to always browse whos has posted something.

The maximum amount of streams that you can add to tabs.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create custom streams with the content needed in order for me to be able to work efficiently is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their mobile platform is terrible. If they think that is an acceptable extension of the web app they need to rethink that solution. I still have to pull out my laptop to truly set up content while not in the office and that is poor thinking on the company's side of things due to the rapid pace that mobile devices are being used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to engage our audience where they are. It is something that has been difficult when we dealing with multiple team members and multiple platforms that Hootsuite had made easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say that using hootsuite makes social media management a breeze. It's focused on team oriented usage so it's great for larger organizations but is also built with small teams in mind.

Sometimes the user interface can be a bit bulky and cumbersome to use.

Give it a try! If you have never used a social media content tool like this you will find Hootsuite to be extremely helpful!
Good features for streamlining social media scheduling process
What do you like best about the product?
We typically use Hootsuite for scheduling (not moderating) and like it well. We use the bulk composer and author RSS feed posting features. Also like the ability to schedule Instagram posts from desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're limited to 50 social networks and 10 users with the pro version, which is not enough, but it's MUCH MUCH more expensive to upgrade beyond this level (last time we looked into it, that is). Plus, we're limited to 350 scheduled posts which is about 2 weeks worth across all our social networks...we'd like the ability to schedule farther out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite definitely helps to streamline our process and to see what team members do what.

Go with the Pro version.
Easy viewing platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can manage all of my tweets in one place, while drafting the tweets I would like to use in the future. It's an easy system to use and I like that I can have other people login and review my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the platform crashes. It makes it difficult to work with sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to manage all of my tweets in one place. It's nice to have a system in place that your whole team can use. I have realized that this is the easiest way to draft tweets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend adding more analytical features to the platform.
