A must-have for social media managers.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule Twitter and Instagram posts in advance is so helpful and such a time saver. You can schedule Facebook posts on the platform, but Twitter and Instagram need to be posted in real time, so not having to come up with that content on the fly, and having Hootsuite reminders, is essential for a social media manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite's analytics and monitoring features aren't the best. I wish the analytics section was more user-friendly and that the reports were more in-depth and attractive, although there is potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and ensuring our social media content calendar is executed with timely posts going out every day. It's great to schedule social media content on my laptop and have all photos and text content sync to the Hootsuite app on my phone, so posting on nights and weekends is no longer an inconvenience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is an incredbibly helpful tool for social media management. While it does experience its share of glitches and analytics available aren't perfect, for a budget-minded organization, this tool can't be beat.

Since we have a small staff, we don't actually have too many issues.

Multiple users who manage our account, and we are loving the flexibility.

It's an easy to use interface and quick to learn.

The free version lacks some of the more robust features of the paid version.

We've been able to set our posts on auto-pilot for when we need to focus on other tasks.

The free version is usable, some of the beta features look promising.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed having all my accounts in the same place for tandem posting. It was easy to monitor what posts were coming and to what platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their instagram implementation is still leaving something to desire. Though better than nothing, the non-native processes are a bit of a hassle when trying to quickly share content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined social posting. We've been realizing the benefits of having everything in one place makes for a more cohesive content collective, where language and posts are in constant synergy across all platforms, giving us a more unified brand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't just rely on the app to monitor your platforms. Look into each outlet's analytics for a more in-depth look at your analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
ability to bulk upload social media messages for scheduled deployment
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface needs a bit of work - feels clunky and a bit out-of-date. Servicable, but not as good as it could be.- mostly impeding social monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to manage multiple channels and brand accounts, coordinate team efforts and get the right message out in the right place at the right time. Saves time, limits frustration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for a bit of a learning curve, esp. when it comes to team use - but well worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to monitor different streams of social media. Love Owly and the Hootsuite blog - I always learn a lot from the webinars and articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have trouble using the Hootsuite extension to post from within Facebook and from websites. My post preview is always empty or just contains a link - not sure if it's because I'm using the free version or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring my social channels is easy with Hootsuite, and it's easy to get an overview of scheduled posts on all of my platforms at one time unlike some other programs.

Read the blog, watch some webinars and tutorials

I like the fact that you can manage several accounts. The ease of scheduling tweets is very helpful too.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can schedule posts so when you know you won't be able to make it to your computer, you can still keep connected with your followers

As of right now I cant think of a thing that I don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to give people access so they can take over my hub account to feature their own work and schedule upcoming posts.

This is a great program to keep you connected to your fan base/followers

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to combine all of your accounts onto one sole platform. It is decently intuitive to set up and a good way to monitor mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of instagram is poor, which is a problem for most brands. It is not simple to upload and schedule posts. It is also difficult to have multiple users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A good way to schedule twitter and facebook posts, while also managing mentions.

Videos are hard to upload sometimes. It seems that hootsuite does not go well with Facebook a algorithims. When I unload through hootsuite my engagement is lower than normal. Also there are no analytics to see
