Marketing Directors Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can set it and forget it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I HATE that is does not adapt to Instagram very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am very busy during the day so scheduling posts is really helpful.
Easy Platform

Platform is very user friendly and it's free

Columns can be confusing. Linking to Instragram is problematic at times.

Schedule your tweets with ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule posts for twitter - multiple accounts - using hootsuite. It's also a great way to track all the different streams for listening in on my professional account. I've loved sharing this tool with my interns!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to use owly for my url shorteners - I prefer bitly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing with hootsuite - 2 things. 1) Being able to easily schedule many posts in advance for my professional account 2) being able to see so many streams side-by-side. I follow a lot of searches and hashtags for my professional account and it's helpful to see it all side-by-side/at a glance.
Not bad, not great
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is good at it's main purpose but there are better alternatives better for managing your social networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not the biggest fan of Hootsuite's permissions or UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does help effectively manage social media efforts.

That we can't schedule Instagram - but not Hootsuite's fault there!

getting to bulk time and schedlue posts all at once saves so much time and keeps consistency
Great too to monitor social media

Easy to schedule and monitor multiple Twitter feeds and keywords

Their Linkedin plugin is not that great, can't change the pic easily, had a few issues scheduled post not posting, so I mainly use it for Twitter.

Hootsuite was helpftul to moderate a chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I didn't run into any problems.

I was really busy when I was supposed to be moderating a really fast paced chat, so I was able to better prepare by preloading my questions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I easily navigated the platform, and it is useful to grow your PLN.

Sometimes it seems like there's a delay between using Hootsuite and a tweet posting on Twitter

I like it because it simplifies social media and in a visual media world, that is so important.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't tried to set a black background lately but I do prefer dark backgrounds and I would rather have that.

Being able to separate multiple twitter accounts is invaluable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would take them up on it. While Tweetdeck is a cheap option that does a lot of what Hootsuite does, I think the Hootsuite support and analytics are worth the cost if you have the ability to pay for it with your company.

It congregates all social media platforms on one channel and you can manage and monitor multiple accounts which is nice
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not as clean or intuitive all the time...

It's great to quickly post or schedule content and for several people to manages it

It's not for everyone.
