It's Okay
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing amazing about it. Simple to use and is effective for small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
limiting and confusing at times. there were some features i wish i could quickly access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sending out mass emails and networking.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the design of Hootsuite. They make it easy to navigate and appealing to look at. Hootsuite's support is always timely and helpful. They have great communication with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram in order to make their service better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Hootsuite is connected to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, sometimes Hootsuite features don't work because something has gone wrong with Twitter. Their scheduled messages fail to deliver to channels and they don't do a great job of telling you why unless you dig deeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time is the biggest problem I've had solved with Hootsuite! I've noticed more time to create posts, reports, strategies, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use EVERY feature! test out their new updates and ask questions. Trial and error is the best way.
Great starting point with a few hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is extremely simple to set up individually without needing much research/training. It is also very user friendly, so adding multiple social media platforms is a breeze. This was an amazing help when creating a communication plan/strategy as you're able to schedule well out in advance and editing was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the scheduled post went to Facebook it would not always appear as intended. I ran into several issues with only having a link posted as opposed to the full preview with a picture that you get when you post or preschedule within Facebook itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With limited capacity within our office, Hootsuite allows us to have a platform for social media management across several outlets. I value the ease of editing content or pre-scheduled times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great beginner tool, but I'd definitely look into other products if you're more advanced or already have experience with a social media management tool.

I love the reminders that it is time to post, and oftentimes I would forget without it.

I do not like that it cannot automatically post to Instagram for my business.

Some issues in the past have been not remembering to post graphics and updates. it benefits me that I am able to have a laid out plan for my social media outlets.

What do you like best about the product?
The efficiency of this software is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless you're already familiar with how different social media platforms perform, it can be tricky to understand when the best time to post is/what site is best suited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows much more time for other tasks. Rather than having someone tweet every few hours, we can schedule in advance. It allows for more organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is the perfect platform to use if you're a one-woman marketing department. I trust that my company's posts will always be shared on time and in the correct format... which is just as important.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a fault of LinkedIns, but I wish I could post on LinkedIn via Hootsuite.

I'm saving a lot of time and hassle by not having to go to each individual social media website to post updates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're constantly on-the-go and don't have time to sit there and schedule all of your tweets, facebook posts and Instagram pictures, Hootsuite is the way to go.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Hootsuite was the ability to see all of my social media forums across one platform. This helped me track information that I needed to know, as well as to integrate different social media platforms when communicating the same message across different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many features of Hootsuite that I disliked. Perhaps one negative aspect of Hootsuite is that the free version can only be operated by one person, and only allows for three social media platforms. While this limitation has minimal effect on personal use, it makes Hootsuite less attractive for smaller companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite reduces the amount of time spent working with social media, freeing time for more important tasks. While social media is a necessity for most businesses, the time put into maintaining those accounts doesn't always readily show positive results, which often discourages users from maintaining accounts. Hootsuite provides a hassle-free system for updating, maintaining, and keeping current on social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking at Hoostsuite for professional purposes as a small company, you will have to consider whether or not the cost of the plan is effective for you. It really comes down to how integral social media is to your company. If your company finds great benefit in social media and constantly uses platforms like Facebook and Twitter, Hootsuite is likely a good option for you. However, if you only make weekly posts, or less, then it may not be worth the cost.
Hootsuite: A Must for Twitter
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite make it easy to manage all aspects of Twitter in one fell swoop. You're able to see your newsfeed, interactions with other users, follow certain hashtags, see how tweets are performing, manage multiple accounts and more all on one condensed interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to be careful when you're typing out tweets. I tend to write and schedule a lot of tweets at once, and if you're not careful, it can be easy to send out an unfinished tweet or send something automatically when it was meant to be posted later. Also, because of all the information on one screen, it is not as clean-looking as other programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it easy to manage multiple accounts in one program. Having everything on one screen eliminates time squandered moving back and forth between different screens or open tabs. Scheduling tweets ahead of time eliminates missing key opportunities or having to be tied to the Twitter accounts around the clock.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite offers links to the top 3 sites. Others often restrict posts to only Facebook and Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is not as intuitive as advertised. There are almost too many choices for streams and posting. I would prefer to have a cleaner look with a better navigational flow.

Auto-posting of Tweets and LinkedIn posts to keep a campaign going even if I'm not online.
