Satisfying to use occasionally fiddly UI

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule tweets at suitable times was particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling tool calendar was particularly fiddly to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was having trouble tracking and pre-preparing tweets to go out in advance. Hootsuite fixed this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into supplementing this with services like Crowdfire, Klout, and Statusbrew.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's user-friendly and simple to figure out for beginners
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics reports are expensive and the payment is not ideal. I don't like the points system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to successfully schedule tweets, posts etc. for clients and successfully streamline the process

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allowed me to access all the social media presences I helped to manage for the university at which I was employed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a bit cluttered or confusing when working in multiple places - could use more clearly-defined tabs to differentiate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to maintain currency and relevance when we can access all our online pages in one place!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Only use if you manage multiple social media platforms.

Good for managing multiple social channels

What do you like best about the product?
Working in a comms agency across multiple client accounts, Hootsuite is a really useful tool to be able to keep an eye on all my client social channels at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get used to - the newsfeed can look quite cluttered at first. Also, there seems to be some discrepancy between the number of characters you can use on a tweet directly in Twitter compared to on Hootsuite (usually when attaching media)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it so much easier to track direct messages and mentions throughout the day - especially when you have a few different accounts to manage. The scheduling tool is also super handy for ensuring a regular stream of content is going out on business accounts - so on busy days for example when you're not in the office / at your desk, you can schedule content in advance for a specific time and day. Very handy!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would highly recommend - especially if you're responsible for managing content and incoming external enquires on social media. It can be a bit cluttered at first, but once you get used to it it makes social media managements / monitoring so much quicker and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of posting to several social medias
What do you dislike about the product?
Posting on Twitter requires shorter text which makes is difficult to post directly posts that are longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing which posts are going out on social media when working with other team members; seeing the responses to our social media posts; saving time by posting to multiple social medias at once.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling content across multiple social channels is a time saver. Being able to assign tasks and selectively requiring post approval has brought a new level of efficiency to our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
On boarding with the Pro service was a bit slow. Some emails were returned over five business days later and only after we reached out a second time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster customer service on social media by being able to view multiple channels at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking to streamline your social media department Hootsuite makes it easy to manage teams, account permissions, watch social chatter, and generally better serve clients with a faster response time.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps you schedule social media posts. You can add a day, week or a month if you prefer. Its a great way to keep up to date with your social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a terrific plus that you can have multiple social media accounts within Hootsuite, so you can schedule for Twitter and Facebook too for example. But you sometimes need to double check to be sure you are posting for the correct social media account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps to schedule social media, so you can encourage someone to post each day without making the effort to do the post each day!

If you would like to schedule social media posts, take a look at Hootsuite.

Efficient Social Media Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is that I can share to multiple social platforms at once which saves me time so I can be more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is there are no social account labels in the browser extension, and since most of my social account use the same image, it's not easy to tell which is which.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hootsuite, I've been able to solve my time management problem. Instead of having to share a post individually on each social network, I can do I all from one source and it's quick and easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite let me post and manage from multiple accounts on various social media outlets.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was freelancing only allowed me to link one Instagram account and one Tumblr account. I wrote to them to describe my issue with this. I plan on using it again now that I'm working on multiple projects of my own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing we're all looking for is how to maximize our time and efficiency while reaching a large audience. Hootsuite was helpful and I hope the tool continues to upgrade with even more management options.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth using but also recommend Hootsuite University to fully understand how it works.

Easy to Learn & Use, Even Free version is great for SMB

What do you like best about the product?
Lots you can do even with the free version of Hootsuite. I like that I can schedule one post to multiple channels at once and follow custom streams without going into each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is just okay. I find that it is buggy and sometimes I do not get push notifications for instagram posts which makes the IG situation even more annoying. I also find issue with the bulk uploader but I get by okay without it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small marketing team so working in advance for social is very important. It' very easy to use the basic features and have everyone be able to log in and tell whats going on easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with the free version for a while on a couple of the software that are similar (buffer, coschedule, sprout, etc) there are certain benefits for each one. Ultimately the price of Hootsuite for its reliability was best for the company I am at currently, but I do like features on other platforms better.
