Good social media scheduler
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it was to connect all of my social media platforms. It made my scheduling a lot easier and simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can post to Instagram but I know that it's not possible for any platform right now...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm saving time. I used to spend a lot of time posting social media a lot more often, now I can do them in batches and they're scheduled and ready to go. This also allows me to focus on more things that matter to me in my business- I don't have to worry so much about social media posting so I'm able to focus more on the actual content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is one of the more common social media schedulers for a reason- its lower cost and allows you to get all of the basics you might need.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite helps you to manage multiple social media sites at once! It helps helps to track what is giving you the most traction with your audience!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike. It was easy to learn the different functions and follow along to better grow my social media for my workplace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run social media for an apartment complex in the booming city of Nashville where there is a lot of competition. I am learning what generates the most interest from our audience and what bring in a new audience. This helps me to get more new prospects through our door and leasing with us!

Go for it! It's a very handy and helpful tool if you use social media for your business!
Not the fanciest but dependable

Hootsuite is like the spouse you thought you would marry for life - Many prettier, more youthful platforms have arisen since Hootsuite was born but I have stuck with ole reliable and it has served me well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isnt very "pretty" and for a creative, that can be important for inspiration.

When comparing these type platforms - try and look beyond the flash - Hootsuite is solid - and here to stay.
Pricey Asset.
What do you like best about the product?
Pros of Hootsuite includes the ability to manage multiple social media profiles, page, and schedules in one application. This is good especially for a smaller business that doesn't have a dedicated social media tea. Hootsuite makes social media management, monitoring, and reviewing analytics incredibly easy. Hootsuite can be used anywhere with iOS and Android support, which is nice if your business is limited to mobile devices.
I felt that using Hootsuite has helped me through the correct stages of updating my social media channels. I even took a few tips from using the platform in consideration with my personal social media channels. Once a post goes live, I get customized analytics letting me know what I did right, and what can be improved.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of my biggest cons of using Hootsuite would be pricing. To take advantage of all of the wonderful collaboration features is a big chunk of change to spit out all at once. I would recommend that Hootsuite launch payment plans or discounts accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving communication among other staff members. We've realized how much of an asset Hootsuite is because it was friendly among our devices and was pretty intuitive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take into consideration what kind of business you have (big or small) and how many people are part of your team. For a smaller business, taking advantage of the free services would be best.
A simple to use tool. There are better ones out there but not for free

Using Hootsuite's free package, i can manage my 3 main social platforms easily and quickly. I can set dashboards how i want them and add and remove parts that i don't want. For a free tool, it helps save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the free package gives you a wide degree of freedom, once you start adding elements, the price can start to rise very quickly. Whilst still a useful tool, once you start paying for it, there are potentially more suited options out there.

I use Hootsuite to monitor and manage our social platforms. I schedule social posts across 3 platforms and have set up streams to monitor key industry terms or figures.
Gets the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can preschedule social posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's dated compared to other software that is out there, like Sprout Social. It's not the most user friendly and could use some updates. It's very basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get to see a livestream of incoming comments and hashtag data from users. It's a great program to centralize your social channels. Hootsuite also allows you to pre-schedule Instagram and Twitter posts, which you cannot do in those platforms.
Easy and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about the program is how easy it is to use. It's very convenient to schedule tweets and check out the analytics for your account all in one program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now I don't dislike anything because I understand how to use the program.

Hootsuite helps me with time management. I can sit down and schedule all my posts at once. It helps give you piece of mind, then you can go back and look at the analytics later to gauge how well your posts are doing.
Great for keeping in touch with young people

I like that I can manage multiple social media accounts and schedule my posts, so I can plan them all in advance.

some of the "add on" things, such as running data reports, or making the url shorter are costly

It saves me a lot of time being able to schedule my posts
Hootsuite for Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a very easy to use tool for social media management. You can connect all your different social media account and schedule posts to all of them at once. It integrates well with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations, such as tagging other pages or users within posts, as well as not being able to easily use different images when attaching links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to share our social media posts across multiple platforms. This has made social media marketing easy for us and is an easy tool to introduce to new staff members.
Easy to connect with others
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can track multiple social media outlets at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it doesn't offer more ways to interact with your audience like Tweetdeck.

I have used Hootsuite to manage one of my clients multiple social media accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that Hootsuite use more innovative methods to pull more outreach to the users. For example, be able to reply back to comments faster.
