Solid enough for your basic SM org needs

What do you like best about the product?
It was great tool at the onset of SM for aggregation and monitoring. It kept all of my keyword searches organized and was rare to experience any bugs or mishaps. Great for those with a lot of personal twitter followers to keep your twitter feed from becoming a cluttered nightmare.
What do you dislike about the product?
It didn't adapt enough to the evolution of SM. Plus I just didn't need it anymore at my current position. Im sure it is still a solid product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was great tool at the onset of SM for aggregation and monitoring. And it was also great for live opinion gathering.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure it will cover the full scope of your needs...they were an OG but there are a lot of options available out there these days. Do the research.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has everything I need to look at right where I need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes posts do not go through or send, and that's frustrating to have to enter and re-enter over and over again. It's not the most reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can hit a wide audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just prepare yourself to make and re-make posts when they don't send when they're scheduled to post.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to quickly schedule future posts across all social media platforms at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is lacking in fluidity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able able to produce a lot more content with the time we've saved publishing it.

Easy to Use Social Media Calendar

What do you like best about the product?
Posts to multiple social media platforms and allows you to see all upcoming and past social media posts in one dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have issues with it being unable to post a scheduled post on LinkedIn, although when this occurs they immediately send an email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This saves time and allows us to post outside of business hours and when users are on vacation or out of the office.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to program posts cross-platform. This is for media posts or just words. For the free account you may have a limited amount of social platforms connected, but honestly it is hardly the case where you need to program that many at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The creation of the posts can be tedious. I think that having a way to upload a CSV file for the posts would increase the speed thus making it a bit more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having someone stuck to a computer at all times in order to answer posts as well as posting new content every day is not very feasible. With Hootsuite you are able to combine all that into one single Dashboard and have multiple people look at it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a free or cheap platform and you don't need something very powerful (honestly, most don't) then Hootsuite is perfect!

Great for small-time users, not enough for brands

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a really easy to use platform and is perfect for scheduling posts to go out ahead of time. It's especially useful for bloggers and small companies with a limited budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are really basic. You have to pay extra if you want to create any reports, which is a pretty old-fashioned way of doing business. I know it's meant to encourage the user to upgrade to a higher tier of subscription, but it just makes me (and the brands I work for) look for alternatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts to go out while I'm doing other things is useful. Aside from that, I prefer other tools and the analytics I get from elsewhere, or even natively on the platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look for other platforms like RivalIQ for your analytics. Hootsuite is fine if all you want is a scheduler.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to use to schedule tweets. It is also great for monitoring Twitter as it can show mentions so you don't miss them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not able to send a tweet right away. There is a 5-10 minute delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule Twitter posts so that I always have content going out.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can mirror postings with my social media accounts across all platforms. It makes it quick and easy to build marketing campaigns for my clients. The login process is smooth, and setting up accounts is effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its extremely basic. There are other programs on the market that offer a better experience with more features. For example, although Facebook has multiple areas to post: groups, events, pages, etc. Hootsuite is limited to pages. There are other programs out there that are less expensive that are able to post in every nook and cranny of Facebook, not just business pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me a ton of time. Being self-employed, my time is my money. So Hootsuite surely pays for itself. I also enjoy being able to track marketing campaigns by simply logging into the account and seeing every post that I have made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a whirl and make sure to use a dummy account on all SM platforms to see how the posts appear to the end-user.
