Hootsuite Streamlines my social media life
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can handle all of my social media needs in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Buggy interface with instagram and the fact that support is slow to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can monitor social media and do analytics easier

I can control multiple accounts and platforms all in one place. I love being able to track similar accounts and hashtags on the dashboard too
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the instagram posting works. i know the softwares dont really get a long but sometimes my notifications dont come to my phone so a post is missed on instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I make a plan and no longer neglect my social media platforms. I am able to stay relevant online and always have content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. try it for free first. You'll want to upgrade to the full version. It's not only great for scheduling social media posts but also monitoring similar accounts and hash tags.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and even the free package boasts many usable features. Have only used a paid package for one company and found the free version to do what I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The social media posts to multiple networks aren't automatically formatted to that network. Twitter is the worst one in this. If a post has Instagram and Twitter selected, the Twitter post only has a link to the Instagram post. I would want to see the picture I sent instead of a link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule posts for the weekends when I'm out of the office (which is when more users are on social) and I can synchronize posts with my social media cohort(s).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stick with the free version unless you REALLY need to pay for it. Not great for YouTube, but that's to be expected.
Easy to Use and Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage multiple accounts in one platform. It's also easy to narrow search results down. Since we're on a college campus, it's nice to be able to look most closely at our local audience, when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited analytics, especially for Instagram. I know it's difficult for all platforms to pull from Instagram due to limited API. We do most of our Instagram analytics tracking in the native platform due to their launch of business profiles and increased data for companies who convert their account. In the Hootsuite analytics for Instagram, there is an alert stating that they have incomplete data, so there's little value to the information presented. You have to update to a more expensive account to receive additional analytics, and to have the ability to export data (versus a native platform that Facebook that allows you to export what you want from Insights).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to monitor our brand presence on social media, setting up streams to seek out specific hashtags, key words and phrases, and narrow results down to our local area, if needed. We can also limit accessibility for student team members who may be assisting with social posting. Hootsuite allows you to set up an organization structure that allows us to connect with other departments in our division and create roles for students, limiting their access.
Easy to use. If you are new to social media management, this is a great tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is very intuitive and easy to use. For any person who is managing social media, regardless of experience level, Hootsuite will make your job a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design itself looks amateur in some regards. The social analytics are somewhat limited. I don't recommend Hootsuite for social analytics, but for general social media management and tracking instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is great for scheduling social posts and organizing all of your social media channels in one place. My company has a great number of channels and pages to manage, and without Hootsuite it would be extremely hard to post and track streams at once.
Hootsuite: Social Media Management for Dummies
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Great tutorials. Easily set up teams and collaborate and create streams. It offered a lot of channels and was great for scheduling and managing our social media channels. We were able to set up social listening tools. Certification training was a great step for newbies. Made it easier to train new community managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics reports are kind of a jumbled mess. It's hard to pull data, especially from Facebook. The system for instagram is a little jumbled but I understand that there will not be a solution until Instagram releases the API for the platform. The user interface can look a little jumbled and overwhelming for someone using the product for the first time. As an admin, there were problems adding and removing team members. That part of the system was hard to find. Since I came in after it was set up, I had to go back and do a lot of cleaning up which made it difficult. It should be easier to manage teams and clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to track social customer care and social listening. We were able to add social listening to our list of features for clients and able to add that to our tier client system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Super easy to use but expensive if you're going with an enterprise account. If you're a small business, I'd recommend looking at something else. Perfect for agencies.
Easy social media management
What do you like best about the product?
Love filling out Facebook & Twitter posts in the same place and being able to schedule far in advance. Don't have to worry about anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it is difficult to tag certain companies on Facebook. Sometimes I have to go back in on Facebook and edit after Hootsuite posts it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps manage my time and keeps me organized.
Perfect for managing multiple pages at once
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule content in advance - and that I can create enough content for all of the pages I manage at once across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find the way the app interacts with Google+ a little frustration - I wish it was easier to tag other businesses with it!

Managing multiple clients' social media platforms at once.

Use this product if you're managing scores of clients at once.
Excellent Program - Would Recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Had very positive experiences using Hootsuite. I would recommend using it to others. I used it to post on Facebook and Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues about which to complain. I had a positive experience with the program and do not have any suggestions for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I realized the ease of posting on social media with Hootsuite. I frequently posted to two social media outlets at the same time using it.
