What do you like best about the product?
A solid all-in-one tool for managing multiple social platforms. Scheduling is easy, and the analytics are helpful if you’re tracking what’s working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it to be a bit buggy at times. Sometimes I need to refresh for my calendar to work correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule months in advance is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling a post to multiple platforms at once. The ability to schedule for a whole month at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could schedule out future videos/reels/shorts.

I can answer all messages from every platform in one spot. I can schedule out posts.

Expensive, but user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics are intuitive and easy for beginners to use. This is a daily tool to help you respond to inquiries quickly, schedule and monitor your engagements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is very expensive compared to competitors, but it works faster and has better graphs than its competitors. You get what you pay for.

The renewal is hard to cancel and you have to get a hold of someone on the phone to cancel or ask for a refund.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting all our inquiries from different platforms in one place shaves off lots of time and prevents me from missing any messages.

What do you like best about the product?
As the Social Media & Brand Marketing Manager for a Chicagoland metalworking fluids company, I rely on Hootsuite daily for our social media management. I was already familiar with the platform from previous marketing roles and even introduced it to my mom for her small salon and skincare business. This is why I knew it was a no-brainer for me that I wanted to introduce it to the company I work for now. After trying several other scheduling tools, I can confidently say that Hootsuite stands out for its all-around superior features, intuitive user interface, reliability, and robust analytics.

Tracking marketing and social media performance is critical, and Hootsuite delivers with customizable, comprehensive reporting. One feature I especially appreciate is the ability to monitor competitor metrics and see how we rank against them—an invaluable asset for strategic planning.

Hootsuite’s AI tools and hashtag generation capabilities make content creation and scheduling fast and seamless. As the sole marketer at my company, I wear many hats—graphic designer, content writer, photographer, sales support, website manager, and I manage the outside agencies we use for specialized projects and paid search. I need tools that save time and boost efficiency without compromising quality. Hootsuite is one of those tools. It’s helped me streamline everything from content ideation to reporting, allowing me to focus on bigger-picture strategies.

While other platforms may offer scheduling features, none match the depth and reliability of Hootsuite. I've tried many alternatives, but none come close in terms of user experience and reporting power.

In short, Hootsuite is essential for any marketer who is managing social media. It’s dependable, comprehensive, and built to support today’s fast-paced, multi-tasking marketing roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite’s pricing used to be very competitive—mid-range and packed with value. It outshined its higher-priced competitors, especially in the area of metrics and reporting. However, over time, it has become increasingly unaffordable for small businesses.

For example, my mom runs a one-woman salon and skincare business, and Hootsuite was a perfect fit for her needs—simple, effective, and budget-friendly. I loved helping her schedule content with it. Unfortunately, the pricing has shifted to the point where it no longer makes sense for solo entrepreneurs or very small teams. What once was a platform accessible to both small and large businesses now feels geared toward larger operations with bigger budgets.

She’s since had to switch to Canva, which, while lacking Hootsuite’s advanced metrics, offers solid scheduling features and is much more affordable. It's a trade-off, but one that many small businesses are forced to make in today’s landscape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can comprise comprehensive metric reports, I can schedule my content calendar posts months in advanced, it helps with hashtag generation and AI prompts.

Solid with minor challenges - Best Out There

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of scheduling posts and the reliability of them posting. I also enjoy the analytics reporting on the back end. The ease of use is ideal for the novice or more seasoned social media manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downfalls I see are two: You are only permitted one instagram and one twitter (x) handle at my member rate. However, the bigger issue is that when a new feature is introduced, it often causes extra steps or a work around somewhere else in the process. You really have to stay on top of how the program works after each upgrade. The most frustrating issue is the number of clicks it takes to create a post. When I originally signed on over 6 years ago, it was so much more streamlined and solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actually, Hootsuite is not solving any of the issues that I experience.

Hootsuite allows me to access multiple social media accounts like pinterest, linkedin, instagram, this makes it ideal for social media presence.
What do you dislike about the product?
This has very limited functionality for lower plans.

this integrates with wide variety of tools like Canva, g-drive, slack and trello.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to post to all social media platforms at a go. This has saved us a ton of time in managing our social media accounts.

Sometimes brand tagging doesn't work especially with X

We used to post individually to our 5 social media handles, which was time consuming and unproductive. With Hootsuite, we are able to post to all our social media accounts at once!

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy to manage multiple social media accounts from a single dashboard. The scheduling feature is intuitive and saves our team a significant amount of time. I particularly appreciate the team collaboration features, the content calendar view, and how seamless it is to track performance metrics across platforms. The integration with major social channels like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is stable and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel a bit dated compared to some newer platforms, and certain analytics features are locked behind higher-tier plans. It would be great to see more advanced automation options or AI-driven content recommendations. Also, when managing multiple brands, it can get a little clunky switching between streams.

Hootsuite has helped streamline our social media workflow by centralizing planning, scheduling, and reporting. It’s allowed our team to stay consistent with posting, maintain brand voice across platforms, and quickly respond to messages or mentions. We’ve seen an improvement in engagement simply by staying more organized and proactive.
