great for social media management and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hoosuite is the fact that you can view your analytics for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook

I dislike the fact that LinkedIn is not included
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business benefits that Hootsuite has is the ability to moniter, track and scheduled out content which makes life easier
Useful, but pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software definitely saves me so much time on posting on various social media platforms. I'm able to save hours on end. I like that I am able to schedule at my convenience with the option to cancel them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that the posts show that I posted using Hootesuite since that seems like my company promotes the brand and customers/clients might not feel like there's an actual person behind the posts. The price is another dislike. If you are a large company, then the price is worth the investment. However, if you're a part of a smaller business with multiple platforms, then it gets to be too pricey. Additionally, sometimes my schedule gets messed up and I have to re-add posts. I also wish there was an option to repost previously posted posts. Last thing:I wish I was able to schedule posts where I share other users posts. Since there is a lot of collaboration with my organization, then that would relieve other stress and save time. Multiple users makes it a bit difficult to prevent confusion in simultaneous editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving time management problems and lack of synchronicity across platforms.
A huge benefit is that one has the ability to see all platforms at once saving time and headaches. Additionally, multiple users can see what I have scheduled and edit as necessary.

There are some limitations, for example Instagram scheduling does not work as well as with some other tools

What do you like best about the product?
It's free and does give me a good perspective of what's going on With my profiles. They moved from the tabular layout, which makes me really happy. I like their education offerings as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the Instagram features. I had scheduled the posts, but had to manually launch them for some odd reason. Also, the pricing is a bit extreme when you move beyond the free profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule messages and get my message out. The price helps but more importantly, I can see what's going on with my accounts. It's convenient.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact you can view and add different steams to each of your social network pages depending on what's relevant to you is very handy. When scheduling, the publisher is also very easy to use, with the ability to choose which network/page you'd like to post to go to without fuss. You can also see what posts and when are going on each of your pages in simple list format which can be customised to suit. The analytics are also accurate and insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been occasions fairly recently where it's been very slow to respond which can be frustrating. When posting, there have also been a couple of instances where URLs haven't come through correctly and don't generate a preview, leaving the post looking a bit spammy. It would also be good to be able to post at "random" times, rather than per 5 minute intervals as this can make posts seem a little robotic. I do feel it could do with a bit of a facelife too, Streams could look a lot tidier for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is a huge time saver and posts can be scheduled weeks in advance. Changes can easily be made later down the line without issue. The easy to understand analytics also offer further insight in to our social media presence and where improvements can be made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an inexpensive all round social media management system to keep on top of everything from posts, mentions, campaigns, ads and analytics etc then Hootsuite is probably the one to use. If you simply want to schedule posts to save time, Buffer is a simpler, slightly more straightforward and user friendly option.

I like the fact that I can schedule tweets and hit the market exactly when I want, regardless of whether I'm awake.

Sometimes it can seem clunky, but the other features make up for it.

What Hootsuite solves primarly is the challenge of tracking down all social media accounts, especially when doing campaigns. On one screen, you can view all updates, tweets, and responses so that you can act accordingly.

I didnt like anything, , buffer is far better

layout is horrible, hard to keep track of mentions, I was unable to add our company facebook to the hoosuite so couldnt manage my accounts with the tool

I love the bulk scheduling feature. It helps to save time and assure accuracy.

I dislike that the reports only analyze data from tweets posted through hootsuite rather than taking ALL tweets into account.

We are saving TONS of time on our social platform and maintaining an active account.
Not really blown away

The convenience of being able to manage multiple accounts in one place.

I didn't like having to upload yet another app to my phone to post when I was out of the office.

It solved efficiency within the newsroom.
