Adam's Hootsuite Breakdown

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling of posts. Hootsuite allows you to add a variety of different accounts and easily manage various postings for each and everyone of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics seem somewhat basic. I utilize the free version of Hootsuite, which provides almost no analytic support whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media planning. I am able to plan in advance and seek to optimize my postings for the time periods that are historically the most friutful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay for the Professional version of the service.

Good for what it offers but needs better UI

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule my tweets or other social media posts. Also it allows me to have a snapshot view of all posts previously on the timeline with the interactions or engagement for each one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The User Interface. The buttons are a little small and emojis are not integrated into the system. Also since it's not connected directly to the social media it doesn't give suggestions for hashtags. Also wish that you could

It was making it easier to see which content was going where and making sure that we were still publishing content even while no one was actively managing the account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure to add an emoji keyboard to your desktop if you wish to use that feature in your soocial media with hootesuite

Hootsuite Is Not Aging Well

What do you like best about the product?
I used this platforms for many years in a professional capacity. When they first came out, they were reliable, informative, incredibly intuitive for the price point. I have since been unable to say the same for them. While they still offer a lot of options for reliable social listening, that can be done with a free account since reporting requires payment.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the last 6 months, I have encountered more errors and down time than I ever have before. Their platform often requires numerous reloads to show information. Due to a myriad of changes to the social platforms that they post to, Hootsuite does not always post to said platforms in the desired formats or using the desired tagging. Clients would be better served using a slightly more expensive platform, or series of platforms, to accomplish the same goals. The lack of reliability of uptime and inconsistent functionality leave this platform lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was our solution for social media scheduling and time management, but we have since moved to a more reliable platform. When I spoke to a representative about the down times and general reliability, the representative spent more time telling me about keeping my account because the prices were increasing than actually discussing this issues at hand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It offers a unique place in the market for its price point but will leave you frustrated when it fails to post, post correctly, or crash without warning.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts to Instagram and makes posting super easy. Instagram does not have a feature that you can schedule posts so this makes my life 10x easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you have to pay a big fee to have more than a few accounts on there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem is the interface is a little confusing and can look overwhelming sometimes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend the money and invest in the pro version if you need to add multiple accounts!

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to use and I use it primarily for Instagram posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The next price point is pretty steep - for about an extra $50 or $60/month you can get analytics/insights. I think that's just too much when you're a one-man band.
One other thing I wish they had was the ability to repost videos - but it's pretty clunky today. That might be Instagram's fault though as I know other vendors struggle with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to schedule posts to Instagram rather easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a solid product for social monitoring and posting. I primarily use it for Instagram.

Great Tool for Social Media Scheduling!

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite for about 3 years now. It's a great way to automate posting for our social media so that I don't have to go in and manually post multiple times a day for all of the platforms we use. It's also useful to see what others are saying about us in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a fault of Hootsuite, but due to Facebook's algorithm for post visability, we no longer use Hootsuite to schedule our Facebook posts. Doing so severely limited the reach our posts were getting, so we have to use Facebook scheduler instead within the site. Additionally, it's frustrating that for Intstagram, Hootsuite can't post directly for us and we have to have a notification sent to a phone to post. Again, I don't think this is a problem of Hootsuite, but rather Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves times, allows easy planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version first to see if that's enough. We currently have a subscription, and I don't really use the analytics as much as I thought I would.

The scheduling and reporting capabilities.

The cost associated with the tool. This used to be a free service, so since there is a cost, I no longer use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media reporting. Hootsuite has good reporting tools for most social media platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look for other tools before you pay the fee for Hootsuite. Overall, it's a great service and you will be pleased.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can preload tweets and that I can manage multiple accounts at once
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it doesn't have a similar interface as Twitter - it would be helpful to get to see what is trending when loading tweets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to effectively manager clients Twitter simultaneously.
